A CAUSA DE LOS IONES DE METALES DE TRANSICION, CONTENIDOS EN PEQUEÑAS CONCENTRACIONES EN LAS SUSTANCIAS FIBROSAS DE CELULOSA, LOS PEROXIDOS SE DESCOMPONEN HOMOLITICAMENTE, LO CUAL DESEMBOCA EN NOTABLES PERDIDAS DE PEROXIDO Y EN LA DISOCIACION DE LAS CADENAS DE HIDRATOS DE CARBONO DEBIDO A LA REACTIVIDAD DE LOS RADICALES DE OXIGENO.
