Abstract

Panel de revestimiento. Es utilizado tanto para paramentos verticales como horizontales, presentando la característica especial de que posee un alma central de poliestireno extruido de muy poco espesor (del orden de 3 mm en adelante), del tipo sandwich pero cuyas caras decorativas son de materiales estratificados, maderas o metales, construido prensado mediante adhesivos ignífugos adquiriendo total resistencia al fuego como material M-1. Los paneles son de poca densidad aunque de elevada resistencia, pudiendo ser montados como paneles decorativos, en el caso de ir provisto de caras decorativos, en el caso de ir provisto de caras decorativas metálicas, mediante simples remaches o similares, lo que mejora sensiblemente los costes.
