Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Leichtstoffplatte nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Aus dem DE-GM 18 95 306 ist eine Leichtstoffplatte bekannt, die aus einem Trägermaterial aus Kunstschaum und beidseitig aufkaschierten dünnen Pa­ pierschichten besteht. Eine derartige Leichtstoffplatte ist insofern nachteilig, als sie sich bei einer einseitig wirkenden thermischen und/oder feuchten Belastung stark verkrümmt. Ist die bekannte Leichtstoffplatte bei­ spielsweise in einem Schaufenster auf der einen Seite einer Sonnenbestrahlung und auf der anderen Seite dem kalten Luftstrom einer Klimaanlage oder der Abstrah­ lung einer kalten Wand ausgesetzt, dann kommt es zu einem Verzug der Platte. Ebenso verzieht sich die be­ kannte Leichtstoffplatte, wenn beispielsweise ihre eine Seite einer feuchten Wand, einem Raum-Springbrun­ nen, einem Raum-Luftbefeuchter oder dergleichen zu­ gewandt ist und die andere Seite durch ein Bild, eine Tafel oder dergleichen abgedeckt ist.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Leichtstoffplatte der eingangs genannten Art zu schaf­ fen, die sich bei ungleichmäßiger thermischer oder feuchter Belastung nicht verzieht und trotzdem ein ge­ ringes Gewicht sowie eine hohe Stabilität aufweist, wo­ bei gleichzeitig eine problemlose Verarbeitung gewähr­ leistet sein soll.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch eine Leichtstoffplatte mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
Durch den Einsatz von extrudiertem Schaumpolysty­ rol wird eine beachtliche Kosten- und Gewichtsreduzie­ rung erreicht, da Polyurethan-Hartschaum im Vergleich mit extrudiertem Schaumpolystyrol teurer und schwe­ rer ist. Die somit erzielte Leichtigkeit der erfindungsge­ mäßen Leichtstoffplatte wirkt sich positiv auf den Transport, die Lagerung und die Verarbeitung aus. Die auf die Papier- bzw. Kartonschicht aufkaschierte Alumi­ niumfolie stellt eine sichere Feuchtigkeitssperre und ei­ nen ausreichendem Flammschutz dar. Die glatte Ober­ seite der auf der Aluminiumfolie aufgebrachten Grun­ dierung dient entweder als Haftvermittler bei der Be­ druckung oder als Bemal- oder Beschriftungsfeld oder als Aufnahmefläche für Klebefolien. Der siebenschichti­ ge Sandwichaufbau der Leichtstoffplatte gewährleistet eine hohe Druck- und Biegefestigkeit. Schließlich läßt sich die Leichtstoffplatte auf einfache Weise mit einem Messer schneiden.
Um eine vielseitige Verwendungsmöglichkeit der Platte hinsichtlich ihrer Bedruckung sicherzustellen und um einen optisch ansprechenden Eindruck zu erzielen, ist in Ausgestaltung der Erfindung die auf jede Alumini­ umfolie aufgebrachte Grundierung weiß ausgeführt.
Zur Erreichung eines besonders ansprechenden Aus­ sehens der Leichtstoffplatte ist nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung die glatte Oberseite der Grundierung jeder Aluminiumfolie bedruckt. Besonders geeignet ist die Leichtstoffplatte als Siebdruckträger.
Bei einer alternativen Ausführungsform der erfin­ dungsgemäßen Leichtstoffplatte sind auf der glatten Oberseite der Grundierung jeder Aluminiumfolie Klebe­ folien aufgebracht. Derartige Klebefolien sind in den verschiedensten Farben, Formen und Größen im Han­ del erhältlich, so daß mit diesen eine schnelle, individuel­ le Gestaltung der Leichtstoffplatte möglich ist.
Um eine wirtschaftliche Herstellung der Leichtstoff­ platte sicherzustellen, liegt nach einer vorteilhaften Weiterbildung der Erfindung die Dicke der Papier- bzw. der Kartonschicht, der Aluminiumfolie und der Grun­ dierung jeweils im unteren Zehntelmillimeterbereich, während die Dicke des Trägermaterials aus extrudier­ tem Schaumpolystyrol mehrere Millimeter beträgt. Die bevorzugte Gesamtdicke der Leichtstoffplatte liegt im Bereich zwischen 3 mm und 20 mm.
Der der Erfindung zugrundeliegende Gedanke wird in der nachfolgenden Beschreibung anhand eines Aus­ führungsbeispieles, das in der Zeichnung dargestellt ist, näher erläutert. Die Zeichnung zeigt einen Querschnitt durch einen Teilbereich der Leichtstoffplatte nach der Erfindung, wobei jedoch die auf das Trägermaterial auf­ gebrachten Schichten in stark vergrößertem Maßstab dargestellt sind.
Die Leichtstoffplatte 1 weist mittig als Trägermaterial eine Schicht aus extrudiertem Schaumpolystyrol 2 auf. Jede Seite der Schicht aus extrudiertem Schaumpolysty­ rol 2 ist mit einer Papierschicht 3 kaschiert. Anstelle der Papierschicht 3 kann auch eine Kartonschicht verwen­ det werden. Auf jede Papierschicht 3 ist wiederum eine Aluminiumfolie 4 aufkaschiert. Jede Aluminiumfolie wiederum ist mit einer Grundierung 5 abgedeckt, deren glatte Oberseite 6 als Bedruckungs-, Bemalungs- oder Beschriftungsfläche oder als Aufnahmefläche für Klebe­ folien oder dergleichen dient.

Claims (6)

1. Leichtstoffplatte in Sandwichbauweise, insbesondere für den Dekorationsbau, mit einem beidseitig mit einer dün­ nen Papier- (3) bzw. Kartonschicht versehenen Trägerma­ terial aus extrudiertem Schaumpolystyrol (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf jede Papier- bzw. Kartonschicht (3) eine Aluminiumfolie (4) aufkaschiert ist, die wiederum außenseitig mit einer Grundierung (5) abgedeckt ist.
2. Leichtstoffplatte nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge­ kennzeichnet, daß die auf jede Aluminiumfolie (4) aufgebrachte Grundierung (5) weiß ausgeführt ist.
3. Leichtstoffplatte nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die glatte Oberseite (6) der Grundierung (5) jeder Aluminiumfolie (4) bedruckt ist.
4. Leichtstoffplatte nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf der glatten Ober­ seite (6) der Grundierung (5) jeder Aluminiumfolie (4) Klebefolien aufgebracht sind.
5. Leichtstoffplatte nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke der Papier- bzw. der Kartonschicht (3), der Aluminiumfolie (4) und der Grundierung (5) jeweils im unteren Zehn­ telmillimeterbereich liegt, während die Dicke des Trägermaterials aus extrudiertem Schaumpolysty­ rol (2) mehrere Millimeter beträgt.
6. Leichtstoffplatte nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Gesamtdicke der­ selben im Bereich zwischen 3 mm und 20 mm liegt.
