LA CAMARA DE COMBUSTION ESTA ENSANCHADA DE FORMA BASICAMENTE CILINDRICA EN EL SENTIDO DEL FLUJO DE UN COMBUSTIBLE Y PRESENTA EN LAS PAREDES ORIENTADAS AL COMBUSTIBLE UN RECUBRIMIENTO CATALITICAMENTE ACTIVO PARA LA OXIDACION DEL COMBUSTIBLE. MEDIANTE LA COMBUSTION INDUCIDA POR MEDIOS CATALITICOS DEL COMBUSTIBLE SE CONSIGUE UN CONTENIDO ESPECIALMENTE BAJO DE OXIDO DE NITROGENO DE LOS GASES DE ESCAPE DEL QUEMADOR. AL MISMO TIEMPO, EL RECUBRIMIENTO DE LAS PAREDES NO PRODUCE UN AUMENTO DE LA RESISTENCIA AL FLUJO EN EL QUEMADOR, A DIFERENCIA DE LAS MEDIDAS HABITUALES PARA LA REDUCCION DE OXIDOS DE NITROGENO. LA INCORPORACION DEL QUEMADOR EN UNA TURBINA DE GAS PERMITE ALCANZAR UN GRADO DE EFICACIA ESPECIALMENTE ELEVADO CON UNA BAJA EMISION DE OXIDOS DE NITROGENO.
