Abstract

El escurridor del cubo es accionado por una palanca de pedal y el brazo portador de las cintas de empapado presenta una doble empuñadura. El escurridor consiste en un embudo troncocónico perforado, giratorio sobre su eje vertical y está dotado en su superficie interna de dos o más pestañas helicoidales, consiguiéndose su giro mediante un cable tensor sujeto a la palanca exterior del pedal, la cual va dispuesta en una oquedad en la parte posterior del propio cubo, uniéndose el otro extremo del cable a la parte inferior del embudo escurridor, el cual posee, en su parte inferior, un resorte cilíndrico axial, de modo que al accionar el cable tensor, dicho resorte es sometido a torsión, provocándose, al dejar de accionar el cable tensor, el regreso a la posición inicial y con él el embudo del escurridor. Este movimiento de vaivén escurre las tiras textiles del brazo por acción de arrastre y torsión de las pestañas helicoidales del interior del embudo. El brazo posee una empuñadura en su extremosuperior y una segunda empuñadura susceptible de situarse a la altura más adecuada pata el usuario y fijable mediante un tornillo adecuado.
