Abstract
The invention relates to a domestic device that makes the action of wringing wetting apparatuses for cleaning floors easier for the user by means of the joint action of a torsion system that comprises a gear system with rotary gears and a securing mechanism by means of a fork and an anti-rust mesh or grate actuated by a lever, an extendable spring and a support.
Description
MOP WRINGER
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention can be included in the technical field of cleaning, in particular accessories for cleaning surfaces.
More specifically, the object of the invention is a device for wringing wetting apparatuses for cleaning floors by means of the joint action of a torsion system and a securing mechanism.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
One of the main cleaning tasks is that of cleaning floors by means of wetting apparatuses. These apparatuses must be rinsed in water with special liquids for cleaning each type of floor and must then be wrung in a suitable manner for the correct cleaning, this task being difficult for persons that do not have great arm strength to remove most of the water from the wetting apparatus.
To this end, the current solutions lead towards incorporating mechanisms for facilitating and optimizing the task of wringing. In patents US7412746 (B1 ) and US6487749 (B1 ) wringers are described that are made up of a system of rotating, mobile and spaced rollers where the wetting apparatus is introduced and the movement and partial pressure of said rollers facilitate the wringing.
Other solutions incorporate mechanisms with flat plates that flatten the head of the wetting device enabling partial wringing since they are able to remove most of the water from the end of the head leaving water in the upper portion.
Thus, taking into account the prior documents it is necessary to find alternatives that are aimed at facilitating the task of wringing the wetting apparatuses for cleaning floors by reducing the amount of force that the user needs to apply and increasing the performance of the wringing to remove most of the water from the wetting apparatus. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, an aspect of the present invention relates to a device for wringing wetting apparatuses for cleaning comprising:
- a containing tank comprising at least one closed side wall with a base and an upper flat surface,
- a torsion system for the wetting apparatus located in the upper flat surface, and
- a mechanism for securing the wetting apparatus for cleaning located inside the containing tank,
where the torsion system and the securing mechanism are arranged to enable the wringing of the wetting apparatus for cleaning.
In a preferred embodiment, the torsion system is a gear system comprising at least two rotary gears on the very shaft thereof.
In another preferred embodiment, one of the gears has at least one hole for inserting the wetting apparatus for cleaning inside the containing tank and the other gear is characterized in that it comprises a vertical shaft actuated by a lever.
In another preferred embodiment, the wringing device is characterized in that it comprises a horizontal support that joins the wetting apparatus to the vertical shaft.
In another preferred embodiment, the securing mechanism of the wetting apparatus comprises a vertical grate and/or mesh and a fork actuated by a lever where the fork secures the wetting apparatus against the vertical grate and/or mesh.
In another preferred embodiment the vertical grate and/or mesh is made of a rigid and anti-rust material.
In another preferred embodiment the lever is held up by an extendable spring and a support.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG 1 shows a general view of the wringing device.
FIG 2 shows a top view of the wringing device.
FIG 3 shows a front view of the inside of the wringing device.
FIG 4 shows a side view of the inside of the wringing device.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
A preferred embodiment of the invention based on the figures shown is described below.
FIG 1 shows the containing tank (1 1 ) of the wringing device and the upper flat surface (9) which has the two rotary gears (5 and 6) with the hole (4) for introducing the wetting apparatus (3) that are held up by means of a vertical shaft (19) actuated by a lever (18) and a knob (7) located on the gear (6). The wetting apparatus is held up by means of a horizontal support (8) joined to the vertical shaft (19) and to a securing
element (2) located in the handle (1 ) of the wetting apparatus. The head (16) of the wetting apparatus is secured by a fork (15) against a grate and/or mesh (17) by means of a lever (13) held up by an extendable spring (12) and another support (10) that push the actuator (14) to hold the wetting apparatus.
FIG 2 shows an upper view of the device where it shows the two rotary gears (5 and 6) with the hole (4) for introducing, into the containing tank (1 1 ), the wetting apparatus which is held up by means of a horizontal support (8) joined to the vertical shaft (19) and to the handle (1 ) of the wetting apparatus. The torsion system is actuated by a lever (18) and a knob (7). it also shows the fork (15) and the position of the grate or mesh (17) for securing the head actuated by means of a lever (13) while the wringing is performed.
FIG 3 shows a front view of the inside of the containing tank (1 1 ) which has the two rotary gears (5 and 6) for introducing the wetting apparatus (3) that are held up by means of a vertical shaft (19) actuated by a lever (18) and a knob (7) located on the gear (6). The wetting apparatus is held up by means of a horizontal support (8) joined to the vertical shaft (19) and to a securing element (2) located in the handle (1 ) of the wetting apparatus. The head (16) of the wetting apparatus is secured by a fork (15) against a grate and/or mesh (17) by means of a lever (13) held up by an extendable spring (12) and another support (10).
