DURANTE LA REACCION, SE CONTROLA LA CANTIDAD DE AGUA EN EL MEDIO DE REACCION DE FORMA QUE SE ALCANCEN CONDICIONES DE ELEVADO PODER IONICO COMO RESULTADO DE LAS ALTAS CONCENTRACIONES DE SAL AL FINAL DE LA FOSGENACION Y TAMBIEN SE CONTROLA EL PH DEL MEDIO EN UN RANGO ENTRE 8 Y 10 CON LO QUE EL USO DE FOSGENO EN EXCESO ES APROXIMADAMENTE UN 15% MENOR DE LAS CONDICIONES TEORICAS.
