Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo para eliminar compuestos de nitrógeno de un líquido acuoso que contiene óxido de nitrógeno (NOx) y/o nitratos (NO3) que comprende una celda electrolítica con un cá-todo y un ánodo y una fuente de corriente aplicable al mismo, caracterizado porque la celda se divide mediante una membrana selectiva de cationes en un compartimiento de cátodo que va a llevarse con el líquido y un comportamiento de ánodo que va a llevarse con un anolito que contiene una solución acuosa de un haluro de hidrógeno o álcali, en particular bromuro de sodio o cloruro de sodio, y que la menbrana está constituida por una tela microporosa.
