Abstract

The method for indicating a physical measuring value on a measuring unit is carried out, with the measuring unit having a measuring element, bringing an indicating unit in its indicating position and a readable, analogue indicator. A prodn. required deviation (a) of the position of the measuring element (14) and the indicator (18) is determined. Based on this deviation (a), a correction function (K) is determined, with which the measured physical value (S) is balanced corresp. to the desired indicating signal (S AW), controlling the measuring element (14). The desired indicating value is logically linked with a correction value (K) for a corrected desired indicating signal (S AWK), with which the measuring element is controlled. The correction value is influenced by a position signal (MW) of the measuring element and a position signal (ZD) of the indicator.
