Abstract
Composiciones farmacéuticas parenterales a base de calcitoninas sintéticas, de pH controlado, con bajo índice de dolor y, buena estabilidad. La invención se refiere a composiciones farmacéuticas a base de soluciones acuosas parenterales, que contienen como principio activo una calcitonina natural o sintética modificada. La misma ha sido ventajosamente formulada sin el uso de ácido acético glacial, sino solamente con el empleo de un único tampón, para que el pH de las mismas no alcance valores ácidos demasiado bajos, sino que se encuentre más cerca de los valores fisiológicos, y de un único otro segundo ingrediente, utilizado para obtener la isotonicidad. Las preparaciones parenterales resultantes han evidenciado un sorprendentemente bajo índice de dolor, especialmente en el caso de las inyecciones subcutáneas e intramusculares, una menor histolesividad y una mayor tolerancia, manteniendo niveles de actividad residual adecuados y satisfactorios, inclusive cuando se conservan a temperaturas ordinarias.
