SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO PARA LA FABRICACION DE COLADAS DE ACERO, EN EL CUAL SE FUNDEN PORTADORES DE HIERRO SOLIDOS, ASI COMO PORTADORES DE CARBONO SOLIDOS EN UN CONVERTIDOR CON EL CALOR GENERADO POR UN ARCO ELECTRICO, EN EL CUAL A CONTINUACION EN LA MASA FUNDIDA QUE CONTIENE CARBONO SE FUNDEN PORTADORES DE HIERRO SOLIDOS, ASI COMO PORTADORES DE CARBONO SOLIDOS CON EL CALOR FORMADO EN LA REACCION DEL OXIGENO Y DEL CARBONO, PARA LO CUAL EL OXIGENO SE INYECTA EN LA MASA FUNDIDA A TRAVES DE BOQUILLAS DISPUESTAS EN EL CONVERTIDOR DEBAJO DE LA SUPERFICIE DE LA MASA FUNDIDA Y EN EL CUAL LOS GASES FORMADOS EN EL CONVERTIDOR SE EMPLEAN PARA EL PRECALENTAMIENTO DE LOS PORTADORES DE HIERRO SOLIDOS.
