제3도는 중공전극의 입구부분에 대한 확대도.

Claims (4)

  1. 용해로 또는 전로에서와 같이 그 천정에 한개 또는 몇개의 중공전극(3a,3b,3c)이 유도되고 전극의 공동에서 공급파이프(4)가 상하운동하는 야금용기로 구성되어 있는 야금로의 작동에 관한 것으로서,
    가) 파이프 입구를 중공전극(3a,3b,3c) 윗쪽으로 후진시키면 야금로는 장입재료 및 용제를 녹이는 전기 아크로와 같이 작동하며,
    나)파이프(4a,4b,4c) 입구를 중공전극(3a,3b,3c)의 입구로 전진시키거나 또는 전극입구 전단으로 야간전진시키는 동시에 플라즈라 발생가스를 공급하면 상기 야금로는 증대된 에너지 공급에 의해 장입재료와 용제를 녹이는 플라즈마로와 같이 작동하고,
    다) 파이프(4a,4b,4c) 입구를 중공전극(3a,3b,3c) 입구를 지나치도록 필용하다면 용융된 장입재료의 욕(2)에 잠길 때까지 전진시키고 산소를 함유한 가스를 공급하는 동시에 전류공급을 차단시키면 상기 야금로는 정련로와 같이 작동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 야금로의 작동법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 내회피복된 강파이프(5,6,7)의 자체 소모형 랜스가 공급파이프(4)로 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 야금로의 작동법.
  3. 제1항과 제2항에 있어서, 경우에 따라 탄소캐리어 및/또는 미립용제가 적어도 하나의 공급파이프(4)를 통해 개입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 야금로의 작동법.
  4. 제1항과 제2항에 있어서, 정련로와 같이 작동할 경우 공급파이프를 통해 용융된 장입재료의 욕표면 아래까지 공업적으로 순수한 산소가스가 취입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 야금로의 작동법.
