Abstract

ADN recombinante que codifica para epitopos del alergeno mayor de olea europaea ole e 1 útil para el diagnóstico y tratamiento de alergias. Se ha clonado ADN recombinante que codifica para epitopos del alergeno mayor de Olea europaea y tiene homología con otros alergenos mayores (Syr v 1 y Lig v 1) de otras especies pertenecientes a la Familia Oleaceae. El polen de estas plantas tiene gran importancia alergénica en la Cuenta Mediterránea. El alergeno recombinante ha sido producido como proteína de fusión con la glutatión-S-transferasa, y posteriormente separado de ésta mediante digestión con trombina. El alergeno producido (rOle e 1) muestra un comportamiento antigénico similar al alergeno natural, pudiendo ser utilizado en diagnóstico e inmunoterapia.
