Abstract
PURPOSE:To actuate an electromagnet at low voltage and current by directly winding a covering thin lead wire more times around both arms of an approximate U-shaped magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnet 10 consists of a magnetic core 6 and an electromagnetic coil 7 wound around the core 6. The core 6 comprises a disc bottom part 62 that is provided with a through-hole 61 for inserting a central lead wire and arm part 63 and 64 extending upward from the part 62, forming an approximate U shape. A central electrode pin 5 is cylindrical and provided with a central lead wire 55 in the inside thereof. The lower end of the wire 55 is welded onto the lower end of a lead pin, while the upper end thereof passes through the hole 61 up to the upper part of the core 61. The lower end of an outer lead wire 17 is fused on the upper end face of a holder 1, and the wire 17 is extended upward. The coil 7 is formed by a covering lead wire 70, in which one end 71 is wound around the wire 55 and connected thereto by soldering, the other end 72 is wound around the wire 17 and connected thereto by soldering, and furthermore an intermediate part 73 is wound around both arm parts 63 and 64.
