Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease magnetic flux leakage, increase effective magnetic flux, and improve attracting characteristics, by establishing attracting surfaces between an iron core and a mobile iron piece inside the central hole of a coil spool around which an electromagnetic coil is wound. CONSTITUTION:A yoke 1 is composed of U-shaped plate. An iron core 6 of electromagnetic coil 3 is united in one body. A base 2a of mobile iron piece 2 composed of L-shaped plate is supported at its one end 1a with a hinge movable in A and B directions of arrows. A spring 5 for return of the mobile iron piece 2a is provided. The electromagnetic coil 3 is wound around a bobbin 4b of coil spool 4 made of insulating material. The attracting surfaces 1b, 2b for the yoke 1 and the mobile iron piece 2 are installed in the central hole 4c of bobbin 4b of coil spool 4. Consequently, the magnetic flux leakage at attraction decreases, the effective magnetic flux increases, while the attracting force is improved.
