Abstract
UN NUEVO METODO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE SUSPENSIONES DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO CON ALTO CONTENIDO DE SOLIDOS CONSISTE EN SOMETER UNA SUSPENSION ACUOSA DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO A FILTRACION DE FLUJO TRANSVERSAL PARA PRODUCIR UNA SUSPENSION QUE CONTIENE EL 50% COMO MINIMO, Y PREFERIBLEMENTE ENTRE EL 60 Y 80% DEL PESO DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO. LA SUSPENSION PUEDE LAVARSE DURANTE LA FILTRACION PARA REDUCIR LA CONCENTRACION DE IONES SOLUBLES. EL PROCESO PUEDE PRODUCIR SUSPENSIONES CONCENTRADAS DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO CON MUY BAJA VISCOSIDAD.
