2.1 BIOMOLECULAS ACTIVAS OPTICAS COMO PEPTIDOS, AMINOACIDOS Y ACIDOS NUCLEICOS SON SENSIBLES FRENTE A TEMPERATURAS ELEVADAS, VALORES EXTREMOS DE PH Y/O TIEMPOS DE REACCION LARGOS. ESTAS MOLECULAS SUCUMBEN POR ELLO FACILMENTE EN SINTESIS QUIMICAS DE PROCESOS DE RACEMIZACION O DESNATURACION. CON EL NUEVO PROCESO DEBE SER POSIBLE BAJO CONDICIONES DE REACCION SUAVES LA SAPONIFICACION, AMONOLISIS O TRANSESTERIFICACION DE DERIVADOS ACIDOS O DESDOBLAMIENTO DE MOLECULAS LIGADAS DE POLIMEROS. 2.2 LA TRANSESTERIFICACION, SAPONIFICACION O DESDOBLAMIENTO DE MOLECULAS LIGADAS DE POLIMEROS, COMO POR EJEMPLO EN LA SINTESIS MERRIFIELD SE CONSIGUE A TRAVES DE LA UTILIZACION COMBINADA DE UNA BASE AMIDINA Y UN COMPUESTO METALICO EN PRESENCIA DE UN ALCOHOL O AGUA. EN LA SOPONIFICACION DE ESTER AMINOACIDO O PEPTIDO SE CONSIGUE EL DESDOBLAMIENTO UNICAMENTE CON HIDROXIDO DE LITIO BAJO CONDICIONES SUAVES. LA UTILIZACION DE UNA BASE ANILINA, EN PARTICULAR DBU O DBN, EN COMBINACION CON LA SAL METALICA ACELERA LA REACCION DE FORMA INTENSA, DE MODO QUE TAMBIEN PUEDEN SER TRANSFORMADOS DERIVADOS ACIDOS SENSIBLES BAJO CONDICIONES AGRADABLES. 2.3 REPRESENTACION DE ESTER COMPLEJO, DESDOBLAMIENTO POSITIVO DE PEPTICOS DE PORTADORES, SAPONIFICACION POSITIVA DE AMIDAS O ESTERES.
