Abstract
Tubo de descarga eléctrica que comprende un cátodo provisto de una cavidad cerrada que contiene un suministro de compuestos de metales alcalino-térreos y en que por lo menos una parte de la pared está hecha de un cuerpo poroso de uno de los metales de alto punto de fusión por ejemplo tungento molibdeno o niobio fusionado a una temperatura elevada o moldeado bajo una presión elevada caracterizado por el hecho de que el suministro de compuestos de metales alcalino-térreos consiste de uno o más óxidos de metales alcalino térreoa cuya cantidad máxima está determinada por la cantidad requerida para formar compuestos determinados con óxidos formadores de ácidos que se proveen adicionalmente por ejemplo óxido de berilo óxido de zirconio óxido de titanio silice alumina y óxido de zinc conteniendo ademas una pequeña cantidad de boro carburo de boro carbono carburo de silicio un carburo metálico o un boruro metálico.
