SE PRESENTA UN PROCESO PARA PRODUCIR IMINOS Y/O AMINOS ALIFATICOS A PARTIR DE ALCOHOLES MONOHIDRICOS ALIFATICOS, TALES COMO ALCOHOLES DE OXO DE UN MAYOR PESO MOLECULAR, INCLUYENDO ALCOHOLES DE ETER, EL PROCESO COMPRENDE LOS PASOS DE DESHIDROGENAR EL ALCOHOL PARA OBTENER IN SITU UN ALDEHIDO EN LA PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR DE DESHIDROGENACION DE HIDROXIDO DE SAL/METAL DE ZINC Y/O OXIDO DE ZINC Y UNA CANTIDAD SOLUBLE DE UN AMINO ALIFATICO QUE SE CONDENSA INMEDIATAMENTE CON EL ALDEHIDO BAJO CONDICIONES DE REFLUJO, CON UNA CONTINUA ELIMINACION DEL AGUA, PARA FORMAR EL IMINO ALIFATICO CORRESPONDIENTE.
