Abstract

Un método y un aparato para eliminar, en aviación, componentes de una mezcla de fluidos, utilizando un lecho adsorbente (10) que es regenerado haciendo pasar aire ambiente seco a través del lecho adsorbente (10) cuando el avión alcanza una altura a la que está disponible dicho aire ambiente seco. Un ejemplo de mezclas que pueden ser tratadas de este modo son mezclas de agua/aceite, mezclas de aire/vapor de agua y mezclas de aire/olores. Mediante la regeneración periódica del lecho adsorbente de este modo, se puede usar un lecho adsorbente de pequeño tamaño, pero que tiene, sin embargo, una vida notable. Figura 4.
