CON LOS METODOS USUALES PARA LA DEPURACION DE GASES DE ESCAPE SE EMITEN AUN EN PEQUEÑAS CANTIDADES BASTANTES PRODUCTOS TOXICOS DE NO MUY BUENA COMBUSTION (PIC). PARA EVITAR ESTA EMISION SE CONOCE ADEMAS EL METODO DE COLOCAR UN ABSORBEDOR/FILTRO CON UN MEDIO ABSORBENTE ALTAMENTE SELECCIONADO. TODOS ESTOS MEDIOS ABSORBENTES TRAEN DIFERENTES TIPOS DE PROBLEMAS: EN EL LUGAR DEL COQUE ACTIVO, CARBON ACTIVO O COQUE DE LIGNITO HAY PELIGRO DE INCENDIO; EL APARATO DE ABSORCION COMPUESTO DE HIDROXIDO DE CALCIO TAMPOCO ES MUCHO MEJOR, ESTE DESARROLLA UNA MEZCLA MUY APARATOSA EN SU ELABORACION Y EN SU DEPOLUCIONACION. SE DEBE DESARROLLAR EN LA MEDIDA DE LO POSIBLE UN METODO MAS SEGURO PARA LA ABSORCION DEL PIC.
