LA DUREZA MINIMA ES 800 HVO.1, LO QUE SE CONSIGUE MEDIANTE UN PORCENTAJE MINIMO DEL 5 % EN VOLUMEN DE LA TEXTURA COMO FASE SIGMA. LA FASE SIGMA SE OBTIENE MEDIANTE TRATAMIENTO TERMICO DEL SUBSTRATO RECUBIERTO. LA CAPA PROTECTORA ES ESPECIALMENTE RESISTENTE A LA CORROSION, PERO POSEE TAMBIEN BUENA RESISTENCIA A LA EROSION Y AL DESGASTE.
