EL BLOQUE DE MOTOR GIRA DENTRO DE UNA SUPERFICIE DE LEVA CIRCUNDANTE Y LOS PISTONES DE CADA CILINDRO SE MUEVEN RADIALMENTE HACIA DENTRO Y HACIA FUERA UN MOVIMIENTO GEOMETRICAMENTE DEFINIDO POR LAS BIELAS, UN BRAZO OSCILANTE O BALANCIN UNIDO PIVOTABLEMENTE POR UN PUNTO FIJO CON RESPECTO AL BLOQUE DEL MOTOR ROTATORIO, Y UN SEGUIDOR DE LEVA QUE CORRES SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DE LEVA. EL BALANCIN ESTA PREFERENTEMENTE CONTRAPESADO O EQUILIBRADO PARA REDUCIR LAS FUERZAS CENTRIFUGAS SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DE LEVA. LA SUPERFICIE DE LEVA, ESTA PERFILADA PARA PRODUCIR EL MOVIMIENTO DE LOS PISTONES POR MEDIO DE LA TRANSMISION, AL GIRAR EL BLOQUE DE MOTOR. ESTE MOTOR TIENE APLICACION ESPECIAL PARA ACCIONAR AVIONES LIGEROS.
