UN PAR DE LAMINAS DE VIDRIO DOBLADAS SON SOPORTADAS A LO LARGO DE UNA PARTE MARGINAL PERIFERICA POR UN MONTAJE ENCAJADOR SITUADO DEBAJO DE UN DETECTOR DE INTERSTICIOS O ESPACIOS LIBRES CON OBJETO DE DETECTAR <BUENOS> Y <MALOS> PARES ENCAJADOS DE LAMINAS DE VIDRIO. EL DETECTOR DE INTERSTICIOS INCLUYE UNA FUENTE DE HAZ DE LASER DESTINADA A DIRIGIR UN HAZ LUMINOSO SOBRE UNA SUPERFICIE EXTERIOR DE LAS LAMINAS ENCAJADAS SEGUN UNA LINEA GENERALMENTE PERPENDICULAR A UN EJE LONGITUDINAL DE LAS LAMINAS. UN HAZ REFLEJADO EN LAS SUPERFICIES DE LAS LAMINAS ES CAPTADO POR UNA FILA DE CAMARAS QUE GENERAN UNA IMAGEN DE LOS CONTORNOS DE LAS LAMINAS.
