Abstract

Mandril de la clase especificada caracterizado porque las aberturas que reciben las mordazas en el cuero del mandril comprenden ranuras formadas en su exterior teniendo el cuero rígidamente asegurado al mismo en relación fija respecto al cuerpo un collar formado separadamente del cuerpo y que se extiende alrededor de su exterior ranurado cooperando dicho collar con cada una de las ranuras del cuerpo para proporcionar una guía de sección transversal determinada de antemano para cada una de las mordazas en al cual las mordazas se aplican en forma deslizable a cada una de las paredes de sus respectivas ranuras y al interior del collar reteniendo de este modo las mordazas en íntimo contacto con la herramienta cuando están en aplicación para cogerla disponiéndose medios para impedir que las mordazas oscilen con relación al cuerpo en torno de sus respectivos ejes de deslizamiento siendo cada una de las mordazas de configuración similar y estando conectada a un miembro de control de las mordazas montado sobre el exterior del cuerpo de modo que sea desplazable axilmente al mismo y haga avanzar simultáneamente cada una de las mordazas hacia la herramienta o apartándola de ella disponiéndose medios para desplazar dicho miembro de control de las mordazas pueden retirarse del cuerpo del mandril si se desea y sin perturbar la posición relativa del cuerpo y del collar sobre el mismo.
