Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zentrifuge zum Reinigen einer Reaktionsgefäßeinheit sowie ein Verfahren zum Reinigen einer solchen Zentrifuge. Die Zentrifuge weist einen Rotor und einen Rotorraum auf, in welchem der Rotor angeordnet und drehbar gelagert ist, wobei der Rotor einen Aufnahmebereich zum Aufnehmen der Reaktionsgefäßeinheit aufweist. Der Rotorraum ist von einem Gehäuse begrenzt, wobei das Gehäuse einen Ablauf aufweist, um aus den Reaktionsgefäßen ausgetragene Flüssigkeit abzuführen und mit einem Zulauf versehen ist, um den Rotorraum mit einer Reinigungslösung derart zu füllen, dass beim Drehen des Rotors dieser zumindest teilweise in die Reinigungslösung eintaucht und diese im Rotorraum verteilt und/oder der Zulauf so ausgebildet ist, dass die Reinigungslösung beim Zuführen durch den sich drehenden Rotor im Rotorraum verteilt wird.
