Claims (17)

  1. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl, umfassend:
    einen Ester eines alkoxylierten Glycerins mit einem durchschnittlichen Alkoxylierungsgrad ≥3; und
    mindestens eine Fettsäure mit ≥8 Kohlenstoffatomen, wobei die mindestens eine Fettsäure eine verzweigte Fettsäure umfasst, und
    wobei das synthetische Schmiergrundöl im Vergleich zu einem Glycerinester mit derselben Fettsäurezusammensetzung Folgendes aufweist:
    erhöhte oxidative, thermische oder hydrolytische Stabilität;
    verringerte Schmelzenthalpie; und
    verringerte Unterkühlung.
  2. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Alkoxylat von Ethylenoxid, Propylenoxid, Butylenoxid oder einer Kombination davon abgeleitet ist.
  3. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 2, wobei das alkoxylierte Glycerin propoxyliertes Glycerin mit 3 bis 20 Propoxygruppen ist.
  4. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 3, wobei das propoxylierte Glycerin 5 bis 20 Propoxygruppen aufweist.
  5. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 4, wobei das propoxylierte Glycerin 8 bis 12 Propoxygruppen aufweist.
  6. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei mindestens eine Fettsäure eine Dicarbonsäure ist.
  7. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei mindestens eine Fettsäure eine lineare gesättigte oder ungesättigte Säure ist.
  8. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei die verzweigte Fettsäure 2-Ethylhexansäure oder Isostearinsäure ist.
  9. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei das alkoxylierte Glycerin propoxyliertes Glycerin ist.
  10. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei die mindestens eine Fettsäure Kokosfettsäure oder ein Kokosfettsäureschnitt ist.
  11. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei die verzweigte Fettsäure Isostearinsäure ist.
  12. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Schmiergrundöl einen Pourpoint von weniger als -30 °C aufweist.
  13. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei ein detektierbarer Trübungspunkt des Schmiergrundöls nicht unter dem Pourpoint des Schmiergrundöls oder über - 50 °C beobachtet wird.
  14. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Schmelzenthalpie des Schmiergrundöls weniger als 15 J/g beträgt.
  15. Synthetisches Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Fettsäure ≥8 und <12 Kohlenstoffatome aufweist.
  16. Synthetisches Schmiermittel, umfassend das synthetische Ester-Schmiergrundöl nach Anspruch 1, das mindestens ein Additiv enthält, das ausgewählt ist aus einem Antioxidans, einem Verschleißschutzmittel, einem Korrosionsschutzmittel, einem Schlammschutzmittel, einem Antischaummittel, einem Demulgator, einem Mittel zur Verbesserung des Viskositätsindexes, einem Detergens/Dispersionsmittel, einem Pourpoint-Erniedrigungsmittel, einem Alkalinitätsverbesserer, einem Reibungsmodifikator, einem Dichtungsquellmittel, einem Metalldeaktivator/Komplexbildner und/oder einem Extremdruckmittel.
  17. Verfahren zur Verwendung des synthetischen Ester-Schmiergrundöls nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Verfahren das Handhaben des Grundöls unter dem Pourpoint des Öls umfasst.
