Definitions
- the invention relates to a plaster profile, in particular an overhang profile or an edge profile, with an elongated profile body which is intended for fastening to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat section, in particular a plaster leg, which is designed for applying a plaster layer.
- plaster profiles are generally used to create precise plaster finishes or plaster borders in construction. They are known in a wide variety of designs, for example as overhang profiles, edge profiles, connection profiles, end profiles, plastering gauges, dimpled sheet profiles, expansion and movement joint profiles, reveal connection profiles or base profiles.
- the plaster leg can be provided with perforations or profiles or designed as a wire mesh. This allows the plaster to be entangled in or on the profile, but is associated with comparatively high production costs.
- a particular problem is the permeability of perforated plaster legs or those designed as a wire mesh insofar as the applied plaster can run down or fall down the back of the plaster leg.
- the EN 10 2017 117264 A1 discloses a plaster profile, in particular an overhang profile, with an elongated profile body which is intended for fastening to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat plaster leg which is designed for applying a plaster layer, wherein the profile body has a contact surface for placing the plaster profile on a wall section to be plastered.
- the US 2006/283115 A1 discloses an edge protector for plasterboard walls, to whose base body made of metal or plastic a fabric tape made of fiber material is attached.
- the edge protector can be fixed to the relevant edge using the adhesive tape.
- Polyurethane foam can also be applied to certain areas of the edge protector.
- the US 2004/0255537 A1 discloses an edge protection profile for drywalls, which consists of a metallic core and a paper or cardboard strip, one side of the cardboard strip being impregnated with latex.
- the US 6 073 406 A1 The edge protection profile disclosed comprises a base body made of metal or plastic and a flexible paper strip.
- the US 4 719 732 A1 discloses an edge protector for drywalls that is provided with a heat-shrinkable tape. After the edge protector is attached, the tape is exposed to hot air so that any wrinkles disappear and an adhesive bond is created with the walls.
- a connecting profile strip which comprises a plaster section with a covering made of a plastic strip.
- the EN 10 2007 059 044 A1 discloses a cladding element for an external masonry, which has a base body made of an insulating material.
- the object is achieved by a plaster profile with the features of claim 1.
- the plaster profile can in particular be an overhang profile.
- the plaster profile comprises an elongated profile body which is intended for fastening to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat plaster leg which is designed for applying a plaster layer, wherein the at least one flat plaster leg has a continuously closed surface section and wherein a plasterable film is applied to the continuously closed surface section.
- a plasterable film in the sense of the present disclosure is to be understood as a film that is specially designed for plaster application, i.e. is designed as an adhesive substrate for plaster. Reliable adhesion of the plaster is thus guaranteed despite the lack of openings, because the plasterable film provides a suitable adhesive substrate.
- the plasterable film can be a This could be a plaster carrier film, such as that used for sealing connecting joints.
- the plasterable film can cover the plaster leg at least substantially over its entire surface in order to provide the largest possible adhesive surface.
- the continuously closed surface section is at least substantially smooth. This enables simple production because no work steps are required to roughen or structure the surface of the plaster leg. Furthermore, the plasterable film is easier to apply to a smooth surface.
- the profile body can be made in one piece. This enables particularly simple and cost-effective production.
- the profile body can be designed as a stamped and bent part, particularly made of sheet metal.
- the profile body is preferably made of stainless steel. This counteracts corrosion of the profile body, which is particularly important near the base, because there is increased exposure to moisture, snow and road salt.
- the profile body could also be made of a metal other than stainless steel, plastic or another corrosion-resistant material.
- the plasterable film is glued to the plaster leg. This enables particularly simple production. Gluing to a continuous and smooth surface is particularly advantageous.
- the plasterable film can be designed as a self-adhesive film. This means that the plasterable film can include an adhesive layer. During production, no separate application of adhesive to the plaster leg is then necessary.
- the plasterable film comprises at least one fleece layer.
- the fibers contained in the fleece layer provide a large and irregular surface and facilitate the adhesion of plaster.
- the plasterable film can basically comprise a fiber material, a woven fabric, a knitted fabric or the like.
- the profile body has a contact surface for placing the plaster profile on the wall section to be plastered, with the at least one flat plaster leg extending in an overhang plane that is offset from the contact surface, in particular offset parallel.
- Plaster profiles designed in this way are used, for example, as overhang profiles or metal connection profiles.
- the plaster leg can at least partially cover a wall-side connection sheet, a capping strip or the like.
- the overhang plane can be offset from the contact surface by an offset of at least 3 mm and at most 30 mm, preferably at least 5 mm and at most 15 mm.
- the contact surface is formed on a flat base leg of the plaster profile, which is provided with openings.
- the flat base leg itself can be designed for plastering and can be screwed to a structure such as a wall or attached using mortar. Since there is generally no risk of plaster running down or falling off, the openings are designed to improve the grip of the plaster.
- the plaster profile comprises a flat end bar which is arranged adjacent to the plaster leg and extends transversely to it.
- Such an end bar creates an exact and visually appealing finish to the plaster surface.
- a plasterable film can also be applied to the end bar.
- the end bar can be formed by one or more bent sections of the profile body, which makes it particularly easy to manufacture.
- the end strip is completely closed. This prevents plaster from seeping through the end strip without the end strip having to be covered with a plastic cover.
- the end web comprises two layers formed by bending each other.
- an overlay of the two layers is completely closed.
- at least one of the layers is completely closed, while the other layer can have openings.
- the layer that faces the plaster layer to be applied can be provided with a hole. Such a hole can serve to additionally grip the plaster in the profile.
- the other layer is then preferably completely closed.
- the disclosure also relates to a plaster profile, in particular an edge profile, which comprises an elongated profile body which is intended for fastening to a wall section to be plastered and has an edge section which comprises a flat strip which is bent along a corner edge and is designed at least in some areas for the application of a plaster layer.
- the edge section is preferably closed throughout. Since the Since the edge section is also designed, at least in some areas, for the application of a layer of plaster, it corresponds to the plastering leg of the plastering profiles described above, in particular its continuously closed surface section.
- Edge profiles are used to create clean edges when plastering walls.
- applying plaster can be particularly difficult in the area of the corner edge, as a relatively large amount of plaster has to adhere to a small area.
- a plastic cover is therefore often attached to the area of the corner edge, which protrudes from the corner edge and to which little or no plaster is applied.
- the plastic cover can also serve as corrosion protection, but is associated with unwanted additional costs.
- a plasterable film is applied to the edge section.
- the plasterable film provides a suitable adhesive base, so that reliable adhesion of the plaster is guaranteed even in the area of the corner edge, even if there are no openings.
- a plastic cover can then be dispensed with.
- the corner edge can be aligned parallel to the longitudinal direction of the profile body.
- the plasterable film can be glued in particular to the edge section.
- the plasterable film extends over the corner edge. This provides an improved adhesive surface on both sides of the corner edge.
- the plasterable film can be designed as described above. Furthermore, advantageous configurations of the profile body, which are described above in connection with an overhang profile, can also be advantageous for an edge profile.
- the film can cover at least the flat strip mentioned or the entire edge section over its entire surface; at least the flat strip mentioned or the entire edge section can be at least substantially smooth;
- the profile body can be one-piece;
- the profile body can be made of stainless steel;
- the plasterable film can be designed as a self-adhesive film; and/or the plasterable film can comprise at least one fleece layer.
- the plaster profile 11 according to the invention shown comprises a one-piece profile body 12 which extends in a longitudinal direction 13.
- the plaster profile 11 is shown in abbreviated form for better clarity.
- a plaster profile 11 according to the invention can have a much larger length to width ratio.
- the profile body 12 has a base leg 17 and a plaster leg 19, which are each flat and extend in the longitudinal direction 13.
- base leg and plaster leg used to differentiate between the legs are not intended to exclude the possibility that the base leg 17 is also plastered and is designed in a suitable manner for this purpose (see below).
- the profile body 12 is made by bending, edging, punching and, if necessary, stretching from a flat metal strip, which preferably consists of stainless steel.
- the metal strip can be 0.5 mm thick.
- the base leg 17 and the plaster leg 19 are each single-layered and flat.
- the base leg 17 is intended for attachment to a building structure.
- the Fig.1 The rear side of the base leg 17 facing away from the viewer forms a flat contact surface 21 for this purpose.
- the base leg 17 to be plastered is provided with openings 22 for plaster retention.
- the plaster profile 11 shown is designed as an overhang profile. Accordingly, the plaster leg 19 extends as shown in particular in Fig.3 recognizable in an overhang plane 23, which in the exemplary embodiment shown runs parallel to the contact surface 21 and is offset from it. The overhang plane 23 could also not run parallel to the contact surface 21.
- a first closing web 25 adjoins the plaster leg 19.
- the first closing web 25 is two-layered, with the web layer 27 facing the base leg 17 being provided with a perforation 29, while the other web layer 30 forms a continuously closed surface section.
- the first closing web 25 has a plaster edge 26, which can be used in a basically known manner for smoothing off the plaster when applying the plaster.
- a second end web 31 adjoins the base leg 17. Furthermore, a connecting web 33 extends between the base leg 17 and the plaster leg 19, through which the offset between the contact surface 21 and the overhang plane 23 is created.
- the plaster leg 19 forms a continuously closed surface section 35, thus having no openings or the like.
- a plasterable film 37 of the plaster profile 11 is shown, which is applied essentially over the entire surface of the continuously closed surface section 35 of the plaster leg 19, preferably by gluing.
- the plasterable film 37 can be self-adhesive, i.e. can comprise an adhesive layer, although this is not visible in the figures.
- the plasterable film 37 also comprises a fleece layer, which cannot be seen in detail, e.g. made of a fiber material.
- the thickness of the plasterable film 37 can be, for example, about 3 mm.
- Fig.3 shows a plaster profile 11 according to the invention in an assembled and plastered state.
- the base leg 17 is attached to the wall 39 of a building by means of screws 40. Between the plaster leg 19 and the wall 39, however, there is an air gap or cavity 45. This means that the plaster leg 19 forms an overhanging leg.
- a protective component 47 attached to the wall 39 such as a capping strip, a connecting sheet, a dimpled sheet or the like, projects into the cavity 45.
- the base leg 17 and the plaster leg 19 of the plaster profile 11 are plastered with a plaster layer 51 that ends at the first end web 25.
- the plaster layer 51 ideally comprises a fabric-reinforced plaster layer 53. It has been shown that by providing the additional fabric-reinforced plaster layer 53, the plaster layer is stabilized overall and the risk of cracks forming in the plaster layer 51 when force is applied to the plaster profile 11 is minimized.
- the plaster layer 51 can comprise several individual layers.
- the plaster layer 51 adheres well to the plaster leg 19 because the plasterable film 37 provides a favorable adhesive base. The absence of any openings in the plaster leg 19 prevents any unwanted falling of plaster through the cavity 45.
- the base leg 17 can also be attached to the wall 39 using setting mortar.
- a parallel offset of the plaster leg 19 relative to the base leg 17 is not necessary in this case because the cavity 45 is created by the setting mortar.
- a plasterable film could also be provided on the base leg 17 and/or on the first end web 25.
- the plaster profile 11' shown comprises, like the plaster profile 11 described above, a one-piece elongated profile body 12', preferably made of stainless steel.
- the longitudinal direction 13 runs perpendicular to the plane of the sheet.
- the overhang profile shown is the one in Fig.4
- the plaster profile 11' shown is designed as an edge profile. Accordingly, the profile body 12' has an edge section 61. This is formed by a flat strip 63 being bent along a corner edge 65 running parallel to the longitudinal direction 13, in the example shown by 90°, but other angles are also possible.
- a plasterable film 37 is applied to the edge portion 61, preferably by gluing.
- the plasterable film 37 can comprise an adhesive layer and at least one fleece layer. As shown, the plasterable film 37 extends over the corner edge 65.
- the plasterable film 37 makes it easier to plaster the plaster profile 11'. It is not necessary to provide the edge section 61 with openings. Accordingly, the edge section 61 preferably forms a continuously closed surface section.
- the plasterable film 37 also acts as corrosion protection.
- the plaster profile 11" shown is like the one in Fig.4
- the plaster profile 11' shown is designed as an edge profile.
- the edge section 61 which forms a continuously closed surface section, is designed here as a roof-like profile head, to which two legs 67 are connected. As a result, the corner edge 65 protrudes comparatively further.
- the plasterable film 37 is applied as shown to the edge section 61 designed as a roof-like profile head.
- the high metal content of the roof-like profile head therefore does not lead to adhesion problems.
- the plasterable film 37 does not have to be limited to the edge section 61, but can also extend from there to at least part of a or both legs 67 in order to improve their respective plasterability at least in some areas. For improved plasterability, the legs 67 can also be perforated at least in some areas, e.g. designed as expanded metal.
- the plaster profile 11" shown is particularly suitable for exterior plastering.
- Fig.6 Another plaster profile 11′′′ designed as an edge profile is shown. This has a similar shape to the plaster profile 11" according to Fig.5 a protruding edge section 61. In contrast, the edge section 61 is rounded. In this embodiment, the corner edge 65 thus has a comparatively large radius of curvature. Furthermore, the plasterable film 37 is not applied directly to the edge section 61, but to a plastic head 68, which in turn is applied to the edge section 61. The plasterable film 37 is thus applied indirectly to the edge section 61 of the multi-component profile body 12'.
- the plastic head 68 is designed as a plastic strip that extends in the longitudinal direction 13 and can in particular be plugged onto the edge section 61.
- the plastic head 68 is preferably made of polyvinyl chloride.
- a plasterable film can also be advantageous for many types of plaster profiles.
- the advantages of the invention are particularly evident in an overhang profile or an edge profile as shown in the figures.
Description
The invention relates to a plaster profile, in particular an overhang profile or an edge profile, with an elongated profile body which is intended for fastening to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat section, in particular a plaster leg, which is designed for applying a plaster layer.
Such plaster profiles are generally used to create precise plaster finishes or plaster borders in construction. They are known in a wide variety of designs, for example as overhang profiles, edge profiles, connection profiles, end profiles, plastering gauges, dimpled sheet profiles, expansion and movement joint profiles, reveal connection profiles or base profiles. To ensure that the plaster to be applied adheres reliably to the plaster leg, the plaster leg can be provided with perforations or profiles or designed as a wire mesh. This allows the plaster to be entangled in or on the profile, but is associated with comparatively high production costs. A particular problem is the permeability of perforated plaster legs or those designed as a wire mesh insofar as the applied plaster can run down or fall down the back of the plaster leg. This problem occurs in particular with horizontally applied overhang profiles where there is a cavity between the plaster leg and the wall. In order to catch any running or falling plaster, a plastic profile or a plastic cover can be attached to the plaster leg, but this increases the manufacturing costs and limits the application location due to the specified dimensions of the plastic profile or cover.

It is an object of the invention to provide a plaster profile of the type mentioned at the outset which enables plaster to adhere well to the plaster leg or to another section designed for the application of a plaster layer, prevents plaster from falling through, running down or falling off using simple means and is versatile in use.
The object is achieved by a plaster profile with the features of claim 1. The plaster profile can in particular be an overhang profile.
According to the invention, the plaster profile comprises an elongated profile body which is intended for fastening to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat plaster leg which is designed for applying a plaster layer, wherein the at least one flat plaster leg has a continuously closed surface section and wherein a plasterable film is applied to the continuously closed surface section.
The closed surface section of the plaster leg therefore has no openings or recesses. Therefore, the applied plaster cannot pass through the plaster leg and run onto another component or onto the floor. Accordingly, a plastic profile or a plastic cover for catching the plaster can be dispensed with, which enables a more flexible application of the plaster profile in combination with various additional components such as capping strips and connecting sheets. A plasterable film in the sense of the present disclosure is to be understood as a film that is specially designed for plaster application, i.e. is designed as an adhesive substrate for plaster. Reliable adhesion of the plaster is thus guaranteed despite the lack of openings, because the plasterable film provides a suitable adhesive substrate. The plasterable film can be a This could be a plaster carrier film, such as that used for sealing connecting joints.
The plasterable film can cover the plaster leg at least substantially over its entire surface in order to provide the largest possible adhesive surface.
Preferably, the continuously closed surface section is at least substantially smooth. This enables simple production because no work steps are required to roughen or structure the surface of the plaster leg. Furthermore, the plasterable film is easier to apply to a smooth surface.
The profile body can be made in one piece. This enables particularly simple and cost-effective production. For example, the profile body can be designed as a stamped and bent part, particularly made of sheet metal.
The profile body is preferably made of stainless steel. This counteracts corrosion of the profile body, which is particularly important near the base, because there is increased exposure to moisture, snow and road salt. In principle, the profile body could also be made of a metal other than stainless steel, plastic or another corrosion-resistant material.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the plasterable film is glued to the plaster leg. This enables particularly simple production. Gluing to a continuous and smooth surface is particularly advantageous.
The plasterable film can be designed as a self-adhesive film. This means that the plasterable film can include an adhesive layer. During production, no separate application of adhesive to the plaster leg is then necessary.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the plasterable film comprises at least one fleece layer. The fibers contained in the fleece layer provide a large and irregular surface and facilitate the adhesion of plaster. The plasterable film can basically comprise a fiber material, a woven fabric, a knitted fabric or the like.
According to the invention, the profile body has a contact surface for placing the plaster profile on the wall section to be plastered, with the at least one flat plaster leg extending in an overhang plane that is offset from the contact surface, in particular offset parallel. Plaster profiles designed in this way are used, for example, as overhang profiles or metal connection profiles. The plaster leg can at least partially cover a wall-side connection sheet, a capping strip or the like. With horizontally mounted plaster profiles with an overhanging and perforated plaster leg, the problem of plaster leaking through and falling down occurs in a special way. Due to the continuously closed surface section, however, plaster falling down is not to be expected with a plaster profile according to the invention. The overhang plane can be offset from the contact surface by an offset of at least 3 mm and at most 30 mm, preferably at least 5 mm and at most 15 mm.
The contact surface is formed on a flat base leg of the plaster profile, which is provided with openings. The flat base leg itself can be designed for plastering and can be screwed to a structure such as a wall or attached using mortar. Since there is generally no risk of plaster running down or falling off, the openings are designed to improve the grip of the plaster.
A special embodiment of the invention provides that the plaster profile comprises a flat end bar which is arranged adjacent to the plaster leg and extends transversely to it. Such an end bar creates an exact and visually appealing finish to the plaster surface. A plasterable film can also be applied to the end bar. The end bar can be formed by one or more bent sections of the profile body, which makes it particularly easy to manufacture.
Preferably, the end strip is completely closed. This prevents plaster from seeping through the end strip without the end strip having to be covered with a plastic cover.
Furthermore, according to a further embodiment, it can be provided that the end web comprises two layers formed by bending each other. In order to be completely closed, it can be sufficient if an overlay of the two layers is completely closed. Preferably, at least one of the layers is completely closed, while the other layer can have openings. In particular, the layer that faces the plaster layer to be applied can be provided with a hole. Such a hole can serve to additionally grip the plaster in the profile. The other layer is then preferably completely closed.
The disclosure also relates to a plaster profile, in particular an edge profile, which comprises an elongated profile body which is intended for fastening to a wall section to be plastered and has an edge section which comprises a flat strip which is bent along a corner edge and is designed at least in some areas for the application of a plaster layer. The edge section is preferably closed throughout. Since the Since the edge section is also designed, at least in some areas, for the application of a layer of plaster, it corresponds to the plastering leg of the plastering profiles described above, in particular its continuously closed surface section.
Edge profiles, especially corner profiles, are used to create clean edges when plastering walls. However, applying plaster can be particularly difficult in the area of the corner edge, as a relatively large amount of plaster has to adhere to a small area. A plastic cover is therefore often attached to the area of the corner edge, which protrudes from the corner edge and to which little or no plaster is applied. The plastic cover can also serve as corrosion protection, but is associated with unwanted additional costs.
According to the disclosure, a plasterable film is applied to the edge section.
The plasterable film provides a suitable adhesive base, so that reliable adhesion of the plaster is guaranteed even in the area of the corner edge, even if there are no openings. A plastic cover can then be dispensed with.
The corner edge can be aligned parallel to the longitudinal direction of the profile body.
The plasterable film can be glued in particular to the edge section.
Preferably, the plasterable film extends over the corner edge. This provides an improved adhesive surface on both sides of the corner edge.
The plasterable film can be designed as described above. Furthermore, advantageous configurations of the profile body, which are described above in connection with an overhang profile, can also be advantageous for an edge profile. In particular: the film can cover at least the flat strip mentioned or the entire edge section over its entire surface; at least the flat strip mentioned or the entire edge section can be at least substantially smooth; the profile body can be one-piece; the profile body can be made of stainless steel; the plasterable film can be designed as a self-adhesive film; and/or the plasterable film can comprise at least one fleece layer.
Further developments of the invention can also be found in the dependent claims, the description and the accompanying drawings.
