Abstract

A plaster profile, in particular an overhang profile, comprises an elongated profile body which is intended for attachment to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat plaster leg which is designed for applying a plaster layer, the at least one flat plaster leg having a continuously closed surface section and wherein a film that can be plastered over is applied to the continuously closed surface section.

Description

The invention relates to a plaster profile, in particular an overhang profile or an edge profile, with an elongated profile body which is intended for attachment to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat section, in particular plaster leg, which is designed for applying a plaster layer.

Such plaster profiles are generally used to produce precise plaster finishes or plaster delimitations in construction. They are known in a variety of designs, for example as overhang profiles, edge profiles, connection profiles, end profiles, plaster templates, dimpled membrane profiles, expansion and movement joint profiles, reveal connection profiles or base profiles. So that the plaster to be applied reliably adheres to the plaster leg, the plaster leg can be provided with openings or profiles or be designed as a wire mesh. This allows the plaster to grip in or on the profile, but is associated with comparatively high production costs. A special problem is the permeability of perforated plaster legs or those designed as wire mesh, insofar as the applied plaster can run down or fall down the back of the plaster leg. This problem occurs in particular with horizontally applied overhang profiles, in which there is a cavity between the plaster leg and the wall. In order to catch running or falling plaster, a plastic profile or a plastic cover can be attached to the plaster leg, which, however, increases the manufacturing costs and limits the place of use due to the given dimensions of the plastic profile or the cover.

It is an object of the invention to provide a plaster profile of the type mentioned at the outset that allows plaster to adhere well to the plaster leg or to another section designed for the application of a plaster layer, avoids plaster falling through, running down or falling down with simple means and is versatile can be used.

The object is achieved by a plaster profile with the features of claim 1. The plaster profile can in particular be an overhang profile.

According to the invention, the plaster profile comprises an elongated profile body which is intended for attachment to a wall section to be plastered and which has at least one flat plaster leg which is designed for applying a plaster layer, the at least one flat plaster leg having a continuously closed surface section and wherein a film that can be plastered over is applied to the continuously closed surface section.

The closed surface section of the plaster leg therefore has no openings or recesses. Therefore, the applied plaster cannot pass through the plaster leg and run onto another component or onto the floor. Accordingly, a plastic profile or a plastic cover for catching the plaster can be dispensed with, which enables a more flexible use of the plaster profile in combination with different additional components such as cap strips and connecting plates. A film that can be plastered over within the meaning of the present disclosure is to be understood as meaning a film that is specially designed for plaster application, ie is designed as an adhesion substrate for plaster. Reliable adhesion of the plaster is thus guaranteed despite the lack of openings, because the film that can be plastered over provides a suitable adhesive substrate. The film that can be plastered over can be a plaster base film, such as is used to seal connection joints, for example.

The film that can be plastered over can cover the plaster leg at least essentially over its entire surface in order to provide the largest possible surface area for adhesion.

The continuously closed surface section is preferably at least essentially smooth. This enables simple production because no work steps for roughening or structuring the surface of the plaster leg are required. Furthermore, the film that can be plastered over is easier to apply to a smooth surface.

The profile body can be in one piece. This enables a particularly simple and cost-effective production. For example, the profile body can be designed as a stamped and bent part, in particular made of sheet metal.

The profile body is preferably made of stainless steel. This counteracts corrosion of the profile body, which is particularly important in the vicinity of the base, because there the effects of moisture, snow and road salt are to be expected. In principle, the profile body could also be made from a metal other than high-grade steel, from plastic or from another corrosion-resistant material.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the foil that can be plastered over is glued onto the plaster leg. This enables a particularly simple manufacture. Sticking on a continuous and smooth surface is particularly favorable.

The film that can be plastered over can be designed as a self-adhesive film. This means that the foil that can be plastered over can comprise an adhesive layer. During production, no separate application of adhesive to the plaster leg is then necessary.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the foil that can be plastered over comprises at least one fleece layer. The fibers contained in the fleece layer provide a large and irregular surface and facilitate the adhesion of plaster. The foil that can be plastered over can in principle comprise a fiber material, a woven fabric, a knitted fabric or the like.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the profile body has a contact surface for applying the plaster profile to the wall section to be plastered, the at least one flat plaster leg extending in an overhang plane that is offset from the contact surface, in particular offset parallel. Plaster profiles designed in this way are used, for example, as overhang profiles or metal connection profiles. The plaster leg can at least partially cover a wall-side connection plate, a cap strip or the like. In the case of horizontally mounted plaster profiles with overhanging and perforated plaster legs, the problem of plaster falling through and falling occurs in a particular way. On the other hand, due to the continuously closed surface section, falling plaster is not to be expected with a plaster profile according to the invention. The overhang plane can be offset from the bearing surface by an offset of at least 3 mm and at most 30 mm, preferably at least 5 mm and at most 15 mm.

The contact surface can be formed on a flat base leg of the plaster profile, which is provided with openings. The flat base leg can itself be provided for plastering and screwed to a structure such as a wall or fastened with mortar. Since there is generally no risk of plaster running down or falling, the openings are provided for improved gripping of the plaster.

A special embodiment of the invention provides that the cleaning profile comprises a flat closing web, which is arranged next to the cleaning leg and extends transversely to it. Such an end bar creates a precise and visually appealing end to the plastered surface. A film that can be plastered over can also be applied to the closing web. The terminating web can be formed by one or more bent sections of the profile body, resulting in a particularly simple manufacture.

The closing web is preferably closed throughout. In this way, it is possible to prevent plaster from passing through the terminating web without the terminating web having to be provided with a plastic cover for this purpose.

Furthermore, according to a further embodiment, it can be provided that the closing web comprises two layers formed by respective bending. In order to be continuously closed, it can be sufficient if a superimposition of the two layers is continuously closed. At least one of the layers is preferably closed throughout, while the other layer can have openings. In particular, that layer which faces the plaster layer to be applied can be provided with a perforation. Such perforation can be used for additional clawing of the plaster in the profile. The other layer is then preferably continuously closed.

The object is also achieved by a plaster profile with the features of claim 14. The plaster profile can in particular be an edge profile.

According to the invention, the plaster profile comprises an elongated profile body which is intended for attachment to a wall section to be plastered and has an edge section which comprises a flat strip which is bent along a corner edge and is designed at least in regions for an application of a plaster layer. The edge section is preferably continuously closed. Since the edge section is also designed at least in regions for an application of a plaster layer, it corresponds in this respect to the plaster leg of the plaster profiles described above, in particular its continuously closed surface section.

Edge profiles, especially corner profiles, are used to create clean edges when plastering walls. However, plaster application can be more difficult, especially in the area of the corner edge, since a comparatively large amount of plaster has to adhere to a small area there. A plastic cover is therefore often attached in the area of the corner edge, which protrudes from the corner edge and on which little or no plaster is applied. The plastic cover can also serve to protect against corrosion, but this is associated with undesirable additional costs.

According to the invention, a foil that can be plastered over is applied to the edge section.

The foil that can be plastered over provides a suitable substrate for adhesion, so that reliable adhesion of the plaster is also guaranteed in the area of the corner edge, even if there are no openings. A plastic cover can then advantageously be dispensed with.

The corner edge can be aligned parallel to the longitudinal direction of the profile body.

The film that can be plastered over can in particular be glued onto the edge section.

The film that can be plastered over preferably extends beyond the corner edge. This means that there is an improved adhesive surface on both sides of the corner edge.

The film that can be plastered over can be designed as described above. Furthermore, advantageous configurations of the profile body, which are described above in connection with an overhang profile, can also be advantageous for an edge profile. In particular: the film can cover at least the flat strip mentioned or also the entire edge section over the entire surface; at least the flat strip mentioned or also the entire edge section be at least essentially smooth; the profile body be in one piece; the profile body made of stainless steel; the foil that can be plastered over can be designed as a self-adhesive foil; and/or the foil that can be plastered over comprise at least one fleece layer.

The profile body 12 is produced by bending, edging, stamping and, if necessary, stretching from a planar metal strip, which preferably consists of high-grade steel. For example, the metal strip can be 0.5 mm thick. The base leg 17 and the cleaning leg 19 are each single-layer and flat. The base leg 17 is provided for attachment to a structure. The plaster profile 11 shown is designed as an overhang profile. Accordingly, the cleaning leg 19 extends as shown in particular in 3 recognizable in an overhang plane 23 which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, runs parallel to the contact surface 21 and is offset from it. However, the overhang plane 23 could also not run parallel to the contact surface 21 . A first closing web 25 adjoins the cleaning leg 19 in a direction pointing away from the base leg 17 . The first closing web 25 is in two layers, with the web layer 27 facing the base leg 17 being provided with a perforation 29, while the other web layer 30 forms a continuously closed surface section. The first closing web 25 has a plaster edge 26 which can be used in a basically known manner for stripping when plaster is applied.

A second closing web 31 adjoins the base leg 17 in a direction pointing away from the cleaning leg 19 . Furthermore, a connecting web 33 extends between the base leg 17 and the cleaning leg 19, through which the offset between the contact surface 21 and the overhang plane 23 comes about.

As in 2 As can be seen, the cleaning leg 19 forms a continuously closed surface section 35, ie has no openings or the like. However, other materials can also be considered. The thickness of the film 37 that can be plastered over can be about 3 mm, for example.

3 shows a plaster profile 11 according to the invention in a mounted and plastered state. The base leg 17 is fixed by means of screws 40 to the wall 39 of a building. On the other hand, there is an air gap or cavity 45 between the plaster leg 19 and the wall 39. This means that the plaster leg 19 forms an overhang leg. As shown, a protective component 47 fastened to the wall 39, such as a cap strip, a connection plate, a knobbed membrane or the like, protrudes into the cavity 45.

The base leg 17 and the plaster leg 19 of the plaster profile 11 are plastered over with a plaster layer 51 which ends at the first closing web 25 . The plaster layer 51 ideally comprises a fabric-reinforced plaster layer 53. It has been shown that the provision of the additional fabric-reinforced plaster layer 53 stabilizes the plaster layer overall and minimizes the risk of cracks forming in the plaster layer 51 when force is applied to the plaster profile 11. In principle, the plaster layer 51 can comprise a number of individual layers.

Although no holes are provided on the plaster leg 19 for clawing of the plaster, the plaster layer 51 adheres well to the plaster leg 19 because the film 37 that can be plastered over provides a favorable adhesive substrate. The absence of any openings in plaster leg 19 prevents plaster from falling down through cavity 45.

In principle, the base leg 17 can also be fastened to the wall 39 by means of setting mortar. A parallel offset of the plaster leg 19 relative to the base leg 17 is not necessary in this case because the cavity 45 is created by the mortar. Furthermore, a film that can be plastered over could also be provided on the base leg 17 and/or on the first closing web 25 .

Because the film 37 can be plastered over, it is easier to plaster the plaster profile 11'. It is not necessary to provide the edge portion 61 with perforations. Accordingly, the edge portion 61 preferably forms a continuously closed surface portion. The film 37 that can be plastered over also acts as a protection against corrosion.

A film that can be plastered over can also be advantageous for many types of plaster profiles. However, the advantages of the invention are particularly evident in the case of an overhang profile or an edge profile as shown in the figures.
