Description

The invention relates to a connection profile for components adjoining the plaster, in particular for window frames, door frames, roller shutters or roller shutter rails, with a sealing leg which has at least one sealing means on the component side for fastening to the component, the sealing leg having a plaster strip ending in a plaster removal surface and the plaster strip on is connected to a tear-off protective flap with a predetermined breaking line.

The detachable protective tab on connection profiles has a fastener (e.g. an adhesive tape) for attaching a protective film, with which the components adjacent to the plaster are protected from damage and dirt during the plastering work. After completing the plastering work, the protective tab is separated from the connection profile along a predetermined breaking line and disposed of together with the protective film.

In this context, from the EP 2 093 368 B1 a one-piece reveal connection profile for components adjacent to plaster is known, which has a sealing leg which is fastened to the component with an adhesive layer with the interposition of a sealing strip. The sealing tape together with the adhesive can be designed as a double-sided adhesive tape, for example. On the side of the sealing strip on the sealing leg there is a sealing web which projects in the direction of the component and which slides against the narrow side of the sealing strip and bridges a gap caused by component movements.

The sealing leg also has a plaster strip projecting at an angle α of approximately 20° to 45° in the direction of the component, which forms a plaster receiving space together with a plaster web which protrudes essentially perpendicularly from the sealing leg. A reinforcement fabric is attached to the plastering web using an extruded plastic strip. The L-shaped structure consisting of a sealing leg and a plaster bar is used to hold the outer edge of a facade insulation element. On the front edge of the plaster strip, a detachable protective flap is formed over a material bottleneck, to which a protective film can be attached. Separating the protective flap after the plastering work has been completed can result in bumps, fraying or roughness that are visible from the front and represent dirt traps and/or disrupt the overall visual appearance.

Next is from the EP 3 282 065 A1 a connection profile bar has become known which has a sealing leg in which a sealing strip made of expandable material is arranged. The sealing tape is held in its compressed state by a retaining strip extending from the foot portion of the sealing leg. The retaining strip is connected to a protective leg, which is connected to the plaster pull-off surface of a plaster strip of the connection profile strip via a predetermined breaking line. When separating the protective leg from the connection profile strip, a visible tear-off surface forms on the plaster surface, which is already above EP 2 093 368 B1 mentioned disadvantages. Another disadvantage is that only a narrow part of the front edge of the plaster strip is available as a plaster removal area.

When the protective leg is cut off, the retaining strip is separated from the base profile of the connecting strip, so that the sealing tape expands and seals the connecting profile strip from an adjacent component.

The problem of an unsightly tear-off edge or tear-off surface after detaching a protective flap is tried by the EP 0 628 121 B1 be solved by the fact that the plaster strip - with the protective flap broken off - has a very small final thickness and is therefore practically invisible when viewed from the front. The disadvantage is that fraying and roughness on the edge cannot be avoided and that there is not a sufficiently stable plaster removal surface available when plastering.

From the AT 007 273 U1 a connection profile is known (see variant according to FIG. 7 to FIG. 9), in which a protective tab of the profile has a vertically protruding section, which is initially arranged in a receptacle of the plaster strip and is attached to the plaster strip via a thin material bridge.

After finishing the plastering work, the protective flap or its section is separated from the plaster strip. The tear-off point of the section of the protective flap is arranged on the edge between the plaster pull-off surface and a sloping surface of the recess. The bumps and roughness in this area are therefore visible when viewed from the front and are a nuisance as dirt traps.

The object of the invention is to improve a connection profile for components adjacent to plaster with a detachable protective flap in such a way that there are no disadvantages during plastering work and after the plastering work has been completed and the plaster flap has been separated, a visually perfect overall picture is created.

According to the invention, this is achieved in that a tear-off edge or tear-off surface that occurs after the protective tab has been separated from the connection profile is arranged outside the plaster pull-off surface of the plaster strip in such a way that a sharp, undisturbed edge is formed between the plaster pull-off surface and the tear-off edge or tear-off surface, which improves the visual appearance improved.

Since only the narrow plaster surface of the connection profile remains visible from the front after the plastering work has been completed, the basic idea of the invention is to use this surface only as a surface to be drawn off and to keep it free of all unevenness and roughness.

According to a first, advantageous embodiment variant of the invention, the tear-off edge or tear-off surface is arranged on a surface or partial surface of the plaster strip facing the component. Due to the arrangement of the tear-off edge or tear-off surface in the narrow gap between the component and the underside of the plaster strip, any roughness and unevenness in this area are largely invisible when viewing the plaster surface from the front.

According to a further variant of the invention, the tear-off edge or tear-off surface can be arranged on a web of the plaster strip which protrudes in the direction of the component and is set back in relation to the plaster removal surface. Due to the offset in the planes of the plaster removal area and the demolition area, this appears in the shadow of the plaster removal area and is therefore practically invisible.

This in 1 and 2 illustrated, one-piece connection profile 1 for plaster 22 adjacent components 20 has a base or sealing leg 2, which with the interposition of a sealing tape 3, such as a double-sided Adhesive tape, is attached to component 20. The sealing leg 2 can have, in a groove-shaped receptacle 5, an expanding sealing strip 4 covered by a film strip 7, the release of which is described in more detail below after the plastering work has been completed.

Furthermore, the connection profile 1 has a plastering leg 6 which protrudes essentially at right angles from the sealing leg 2 and which, in the example shown, rests against an insulating board 23 of thermal insulation and is equipped with a reinforcement grid 11 which is embedded in a filler 21 .

The sealing leg 2 has a plaster strip 8 ending in a plaster pull-off surface 9, which is connected to a detachable protective tab 15 at a predetermined breaking line 16. The predetermined breaking line 16 can be designed as a material bottleneck, a perforation line or by a softly adjusted material bridge.

According to the variant shown here, the tear-off edge or tear-off surface 12 is arranged on a surface 10 of the plaster strip 8 facing the component 20 (see FIG 2 ). The tear-off edge or the tear-off surface 12 is thus arranged in the gap between the component 20 and the plaster strip 8 so that it is practically invisible from the front.

As further in 1 shown, a sealing strip 4 that can be expanded in the direction of the component 20 and is covered by a film strip 7 is arranged in a groove-shaped receptacle 5 of the sealing leg 2 . The film strip 7 is fastened on the one hand to the sealing leg 2 and on the other hand to the detachable protective flap 15, with the detachable protective flap 15 forming an angled, one-sided lever through its articulation on the underside of the plaster strip, the pivot point of which is defined by the predetermined breaking line 16. If the protective tab 15 is now grasped at the handle web 18 to separate it from the plaster strip 8 and folded up, the film strip 7 is simultaneously released and the expanding sealing tape 4 is released. The foil strip 7 can be fastened on the one hand in a clamping groove 14 of the sealing leg 2 and on the other hand by a weld 17 on the detachable protective flap 15 .

As in the Figures 2 to 4 indicated, the tear-off surface 12 encloses an angle α between 45° and 110°, preferably an angle α in the range of 90°, with the plaster removal surface 9 . In the variant according to 3 the tear-off surface 12 could also be arranged in the area of the plaster strip 8 pointing downwards at an angle and have an angle α of approximately 45° to the plaster removal surface 9 . In either case, a sharp, undisturbed edge is formed between faces 9 and 12 which enhances the visual appearance.

This fact is also evident from the detailed presentation figure 5 where it is clearly visible that there are bumps that appear after the protective flap has been separated and roughnesses of the tear-off surface 12 are eliminated from the field of view of the plaster-removal surface 9.

Finally shows 6 an embodiment variant of the invention, in which the tear-off edge or tear-off surface 12 is arranged on a web 13 which projects in the direction of the component 20 and is set back in relation to the plaster removal surface 9 . Due to the offset in the planes of the plaster removal area 9 and the tear-off area 12, this occurs in the shadow of the plaster removal area 9 and is therefore practically invisible.

For easy handling and easier detachment of the protective tab 15, the latter has a grip web 18 protruding from the component 20 at the free end. A double-sided adhesive tape for attaching a protective film is denoted by 19.
