Definitions

  • the present disclosure relates to a damper assembly for a lift sliding window/door and, more specifically, to a damper assembly for a lift sliding window/door, wherein the same is applied to a lift sliding window/door which slides upwards from a lower frame or is prevented from sliding when a handle is unlocked or locked, thereby preventing door-related injuries or reducing impact noise when the window/door is opened/closed, and facilitating convenient use.
  • a sliding window or sliding door refers to a sliding-type window/door fitted to upper and lower frames fixed to a structure such that the same slides laterally, thereby opening or closing a delimited space.
  • Such a sliding-type window/door has a door frame configured to be opened or closed through sliding, and is characterized in that, as a result of improved window/door technology, sliding by rollers proceeds with little force in a smooth and quick manner without deceleration.
  • windows/doors have become gradually heavier due to heat insulation requirements or the like and thus have a problem in that the inertial force of a windows/door accelerates the same excessively during opening/closing processes, the window/door may collide with a side frame or another window/door, thereby causing impact noise or damage, and fingers, toes, or other body parts are frequently to get stuck in door gaps and injured thereby.
  • Korean Patent Registration No. 10-1559676 discloses a technology regarding a slider buffering device having an expanded damper container.
  • the above-mentioned prior art is characterized by including a guide groove fixed to a door frame or the like of a sliding door so as to guide movements of a hook, a case provided with a damper container, a damper installed in the damper container of the case, a hook mounted on a rod front end of the damper, a catch being inserted into the hook and fixed to a slider including the sliding door, and a tension spring having one end fixed to the hook and the other end fixed to the case such that the damper is returned.
  • the above-mentioned prior art is advantageous in that, since the damper container of the case supports the damper in two directions (upwards/downwards) only, a pneumatic or hydraulic damper having a relative parge specification can be employed in a limited space; there is little concern of oil leakage and malfunction of the pneumatic or hydraulic damper, thereby facilitating cleanness of the buffering device periphery, long-term use is possible, and manufacturing costs are reduced.
  • the buffering device of the prior art has a problem in that normal operations are possible only if the distance between the upper frame and the upper door frame is constant along the door sliding direction.
  • the hook and the catch that initiates operation of the buffering device of the prior art are fixed to each other in predetermined positions. If the distance between the upper frame and the upper door frame is no longer constant because one of the upper frame and the upper door frame has deviated from the correct position after a long period of time or due to impacts, or because foreign materials get stuck in the window frames, the relative height of the hook decreases such that the catch passes without engaging with the hook, or the relative height of the hook increases such that the catch collides with the case.
  • the present disclosure provides a damper assembly for a lift sliding window/door according to claim 1.
  • the fixing protrusion may protrude from the lower surface of a sliding block inserted and installed to be obliquely movable with respect to a support frame fixed to the upper frame, and is vertically adjusted by an adjustment screw penetrating the lower end of the support frame to be screw-coupled thereto and configured to elevate the sliding block according to the forward/reverse rotation thereof.
  • the movable body may include: a movable pin coupled to the other end of the movable body to be fitted into a vertically long hole formed through the second bracket and configured to slide according to the guide of the long hole to regulate the rotation of the movable body; and a bushing interposed between the movable pin and the long hole to facilitate the sliding of the movable pin.
  • a movable body configured to rotate in the elevating direction of a window/door with reference to a first bracket installed on the upper surface of the window/door, a damping part provided on the movable body to engage with a fixing protrusion during a sliding operation of closing the window/door so as to reduce the sliding speed, and a second bracket installed on the upper surface of the window/door such that the other end of the movable body is regulated so as to rotate in a predetermined range, are organically coupled with one another.
  • the damping part can prevent door-related injuries and impact noise resulting from acceleration occurring when the window/door is closed, and even if the interval between the upper or lower frame and the window/door is distorted or varied for various reasons, rotation of the movable body can maintain stable engagement between the fixing protrusion and the damping part.
  • This is advantageous in that window/door opening operations can be performed with little force, and the simple structure, despite the damping part provided, guarantees easy installation even in a narrow space and facilitates maintenance and management.

  • the spacing distance between the upper frame 20 to which the fixing protrusion 110 is installed and the window/door 10 at which the hook member 144 is located increases, but the hook member 144 can maintain the stable engagement with the fixing protrusion 110 by means of the movable body 130 which rotates about the axis of the first bracket 120, and the rotation of which is restricted and guided by the second bracket 150.
  • the user raises the window/door 10 by rotating (unlocking) the handle 12, in order to open the window/door 10 that has been refrained from sliding.
  • the spacing distance between the upper frame 20 to which the fixing protrusion 110 is installed and the window/door 10 at which the hook member 144 is located decreases, but the hook member 144 can maintain the stable engagement with the fixing protrusion 110 by means of the movable body 130 which rotates about the axis of the first bracket 120, and the rotation of which is restricted and guided by the second bracket 150.
  • the damping part 140 increases the sliding speed of the window/door 10 by an operation of the piston rod 142b contracted according to the opening of the window/door 10, and the fixing protrusion 110 and the hook member 144 may be separated from each other according to the rotation of the hook member 144 by the guide protrusion 144c.
  • the damper assembly 100 may prevent the impact noise and physical injury caused by acceleration when the window/door 10 is closed and maintain a stable engagement between the fixing protrusion 110 and the damping part 140 (the hook member 144) by the rotation of a movable body 130 even if the interval between the window/door 10 and the upper frame 20 or the lower frame is distorted or changed due to the elevating operation of the window/door 10 or various causes. Further, the damper assembly 100 enables easy and simple installation thereof in a small space due to the simple structure thereof, in spite of the damping part 140 being provided thereon.
