Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Überspannungsableiter mit zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Endarmaturen 3, einem oder mehreren zwischen den Endarmaturen 3 angeordneten Varistor 5, einer Wicklungsschicht 9, die zumindest auf dem zumindest einen Varistor 5 vorgesehen ist, wobei die Wicklungsschicht 9 eine geschlossenen Schicht 9 ist, und einem sich zwischen den Endarmaturen 3 erstreckenden Verstärkungselement 7, das die Endarmaturen 3 unter Zug hält, wobei das Verstärkungselement 7 ein offener Kreuzwickel 13 ist. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieses Überspannungsableiters.
