Description

The invention relates to an assembly frame for installing a floor-level shower tray, which has a frame with a base bar for supporting the shower tray and feet arranged at least below corner areas of the frame, on which the assembly frame stands and which can be fastened to a subfloor, the frame is connected to the feet via connecting screws and is adjustable in height.

So-called "seamless" bathrooms have a number of advantages over tiled bathrooms, such as the harmonious visual impression and the ease of cleaning. The cleaning of the joints between individual tiles is relatively tedious.

In such "seamless" bathrooms, the shower base is installed flush with the floor. In particular, the coating of the screed can be continued seamlessly over the shower tray, so that the shower tray is not visible when the bathroom is finished. Only the drain interrupts the otherwise continuous floor area.

The installation of the shower tray is here but conventionally relatively expensive. Before applying the screed, the siphon with the drain pipe must be fixed exactly in the later installation position. The screed is then applied down to the lower level of the shower base. In addition, a formwork is mounted to keep the recess of the shower tray free and the screed is applied up to the upper edge of the shower tray to be installed. The shower tray is inserted and the siphon arranged at the intended position is connected to the shower tray. Since the drain pipe of the siphon runs through the screed, the remaining play in the siphon is to be readjusted can, very little. The floor coating can then be applied. A number of work steps must therefore be carried out, which require careful work and in which there is a relatively high susceptibility to errors.

Mounting frames for installing floor-level shower trays are known. To adjust the height of the feet, it is known to connect them to the frame using connecting screws. The height is adjusted by turning the connecting screws. These previously known mounting frames simplify the arrangement and alignment of the shower tray at the specified distance from the subfloor. However, the previously known mounting frames are less suitable for use in seamless bathrooms, for example. In general, there is a disadvantage associated with use with a screed that, if the screed sinks, cracks can form in the area of the transition between the shower tray and the screed, since the shower tray resting on the mounting frame maintains its height.

A mounting frame for supporting shower trays is from the AT 510 889 A1 out. The mounting frame is placed on the subfloor using feet. The feet are height adjustable. The height can be adjusted from the top of the mounting frame through a through hole in a plate on which the shower tray is placed.

From the DE 10 2007 013 725 A1 shows a mounting frame of the type mentioned for mounting a floor-level shower tray. Further mounting frames for installing floor-level shower trays are available from EP 1 331 315 A1 and EP 3 061 371 A1 out.

The object of the invention is to provide an advantageous mounting frame of the type mentioned at the outset, which is particularly suitable for use in connection with a screed, especially in a seamless bathroom. According to the invention, this is achieved by an assembly frame with the features of claim 1.

In the mounting frame of the invention, the connecting screws, via which the feet are connected to the frame of the mounting frame, can be unscrewed and removed from above. If, in the finished state, the screed continues under the frame in such a way that the frame is supported by the screed, the frame is floatingly supported by the screed after the connecting screws have been screwed on and removed. If the screed sinks, the frame and thus the shower tray supported by the frame follow suit, so that no cracks form in the transition area between the shower tray and the screed.

The frame advantageously has a holding web with an opening for holding a siphon in a connection position. The siphon with the connected drain pipe can thus be preassembled in its connection position in a very simple manner before the screed is introduced, which position it will assume later when it is connected to the shower tray. After the screed has been laid, which also embeds the drain pipe close to the siphon, the siphon can only move a little, so that it has to be in its connecting position before the screed is laid. The diameter of the opening in the mounting bar is advantageously larger than the outside diameter of the siphon and the siphon is held by a mounting plate resting on the mounting bar, the outside diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the opening in the mounting bar. The mounting plate in turn has an opening through which projects a screw part of the siphon which is screwed into a bottom part of the siphon, the bottom part of the siphon being pulled with its upper side against the underside of the mounting plate.

The frame preferably has a circumferential, vertical edge web that delimits the mounting frame on the outside. When applying the screed, this vertical edge web can be used as a kind of formwork, up to which the screed is applied. In particular, the edge web can also specify the height up to which the screed is introduced. The screed can be leveled off at the level of the upper edge of the edge web, with a leveling board used to remove the screed being placed on the upper edge of the edge web.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the connecting screws are screwed from above into internal threads of the threaded sleeves, which in turn are connected to the feet. The threaded sleeves are therefore in the height range between the frame and the feet. The height of the frame can be adjusted by turning the threaded sleeves. The threaded sleeves are preferably connected to the feet by means of foot screws which are connected to the feet in a torque-proof manner and which also protrude from below into an internal thread of the threaded sleeve. The internal threads into which the foot screws protrude are in the opposite direction to the internal threads into which the connecting screws protrude, i.e. one of the internal threads is a right-hand thread and the other of the internal threads is a left-hand thread.

In a method according to the invention for assembling a floor-level shower tray using an assembly frame according to the invention, the assembly frame is placed on a subfloor, the feet are fastened to the subfloor and the frame is adjusted in height. Screed is applied to the area under the frame and in a further step the connecting screws are screwed on from above and removed, whereby the connection between the frame and the feet is separated and the frame is then only supported by the screed.

Advantageously, before the introduction of the screed, the siphon connected to a Drain pipe is connected, fixed to the support bar of the mounting stand in the siphon connection position.

An embodiment of a mounting frame according to the invention for mounting a floor-level shower tray (also referred to as flush or floor-level shower tray), especially in a seamless bathroom is in Figures 1 to 7 shown. The term "shower tray" could also be used instead of "shower tray". Instead of the designation "mounting frame", the designation "underframe", "shower tray support", "shower tray foot", "support frame", "installation frame", "mounting frame" etc. could also be used.

The mounting frame has a frame 1 with a rectangular outer contour.

The frame 1 has an all-round bottom web 1a lying in one plane, which is used to support the shower tray 15 (in 13 shown) serves. In the assembled state of the assembly frame, in which the shower tray is placed on the bottom bar 1a of the frame 1 (see description below), the plane in which the bottom bar 1a lies is aligned horizontally.

The bottom web 1a is surrounded by a peripheral vertical edge web 1b. Viewed from above, the straight sections of the edge web 1b thus lie on the sides of a rectangle and directly adjoin the bottom web 1a on the outside. The edge web 1b protrudes above the bottom web 1a preferably by at least 3 cm. In the exemplary embodiment, the edge web 1b ends flush with the bottom web 1a at the bottom, as is preferred.

A mounting web 1c extends at least between two opposite sides of the bottom web 1a. In the exemplary embodiment, the mounting web 1c is designed in the shape of a cross and is thus connected to all four sides of the bottom web 1a. The mounting web 1c lies in a common plane with the bottom web 1a.

The mounting web 1c has an opening 2 . In the exemplary embodiment, this is in the crossing area of the mounting web 1c. The holding web 1c with the opening 2 serves to hold a siphon in a connection position, as will be explained in more detail below.

The mounting frame stands on feet 3. Below each corner area of the frame 1, a foot 3 is arranged. Additional feet could be provided.

A respective connecting screw 4 protrudes downwards through a threaded hole in a respective corner area of the bottom web 1a and is screwed with its lower end from above into an internal thread 5a, which is in an upper Section of a threaded sleeve 5 is arranged. The threaded sleeve 5 has a further internal thread 5b in a lower section, into which a foot screw 6 is screwed from below. The foot screw 6 is non-rotatably connected at its lower end to a respective one of the feet 3, for example welded. The internal threads 5a, 5b of the threaded sleeve are in opposite directions. For example, the internal thread 5a is a right-hand thread and the internal thread 5b is a left-hand thread, or vice versa. By turning one of the threaded sleeves 5 in one of the two directions of rotation, the distance between the ends of the connecting screw 4 and foot screw 6, which are screwed into this threaded sleeve 5, is increased and by turning in the other of the two directions of rotation, this distance is reduced. In this way the height of the frame 1 can be adjusted. Twisting of the connecting screws 4 relative to the frame 1 is prevented here, for example by applying a turning tool to the head 4a of the respective connecting screw 4.

The threads of the threaded bores in the bottom webs 1a and the internal threads 5a of the threaded sleeves 5 have the same pitch direction and pitch. This makes it possible to unscrew the connecting screws 4 from above from the threaded sleeves 5 and the threaded bores in the bottom bars 1a without changing the distance between the bottom bar 1a and the threaded sleeve 5, the threaded sleeve 5 being secured against twisting. This is explained in more detail below.

The feet 3 have holes 3a. The feet 3 can be screwed to an underbody through this.

The outer diameter of the mounting plate 7 is greater than the diameter of the opening 2 in the mounting web 1c, at least in relation to two directions at an angle to one another, preferably in relation to all directions. The diameter of the opening 8 in the mounting plate 7 is smaller than the diameter the opening 2 in the mounting bar 1c.

The assembly of a shower tray in a screed using the assembly frame is shown below using the Figures 8 to 13 explained.

Fig. 8.In a first step, the assembly frame is set up at the desired location on a subfloor 9 and the feet 3 are fastened to the subfloor 9 by means of screws 10 screwed into the subfloor. The frame 1 is adjusted to the desired height by turning the threaded sleeves 5, cf. 8 .

As a next step, cf. 9 , the siphon 12 connected to a drain pipe 11 is fitted to the frame 1 in its connection position, ie in the position which it later occupies when it is connected to the drain of the shower tray. For this purpose, the mounting plate 7 is placed on the mounting web 1c, with the opening 8 of the mounting plate 7 lying over the opening 2 of the mounting web 1c. A screw part 12a of the siphon 12 is pushed through the opening 8 of the mounting plate 7 from above and screwed into a lower part 12b of the siphon fed from below. The lower part 12b, whose outer diameter is slightly smaller than the diameter of the opening 2 of the mounting web 1c, but larger than the diameter of the opening 8 of the mounting plate 7, is thereby pulled through the opening 2 of the mounting web 1c against the underside of the mounting plate 7, so that the upper side of the lower part 12b of the siphon 12 rests against the underside of the mounting plate 7. This cannot be seen in detail in the schematic figures. In these, the siphon 12 is indicated only schematically. The underside of the mounting plate 7 corresponds in position to the underside of the shower tray to be used later. Since the lower part 12b of the siphon 12 is only slightly smaller than the diameter of the opening 2 of the mounting web 1c, the siphon 12 is arranged in the opening 2 essentially concentrically. The siphon 12 is thus in its connection position. If a horizontal adjustment of the siphon 12 is possible, since the lower part of the siphon is significantly smaller than the opening 2, this could through a displacement of the mounting plate 7 relative to the mounting web 1c, wherein the mounting plate 7 could be fixed in the desired position by means of clamping elements relative to the mounting web 1c (not shown in the figures).

10 also shows the situation after laying the impact sound insulation 13 with foil.

Im Weiteren wird der Estrich 14 verlegt, vgl. Fig. 11. The screed 14 is then laid, cf. 11 . The screed 14 can be pulled off exactly at the upper edge of the edge web 1b. The screed is introduced up to below the frame 1, so that it is at least partially adjacent to the underside of the floor web 1a. The threaded sleeves 5 are also embedded in the screed. Only in a middle area of the frame 1 remains at least one area adjoining the frame 1, in which the siphon 12 is arranged, free of screed 14. This is off 11 evident. A section of the drain pipe 11 that is directly adjacent to the siphon 12 is therefore outside of the screed 14 and the remaining part of the drain pipe 11 is embedded in the screed.

Fig. 12. After the screed has hardened, the connecting screws 4 are unscrewed and removed from the internal threads 5a of the threaded sleeves 5 (which are secured against twisting by their embedding in the screed) and from the threaded bores of the floor web 1a, cf. 12 . The frame 1 is thus completely separated from the feet 3 and is supported solely by the floor 14.

As a result, any screed 14 protruding upwards in the area within the frame 1 above the level of the bottom web 1a is ground off upwards through the openings in the frame. The screw part 12a is unscrewed from the lower part 12b and the mounting plate 7 is removed.

Adhesive is applied to the bottom bar 1a of the frame and/or inside the frame 1 on top of the screed, in the area in which this top of the screed 14 is in the area of the openings of the frame 1 at the level of the bottom bar 1a is applied. The shower tray 15 is placed and thus glued. The screw part 12a of the siphon 12 is screwed into the lower part 12b of the siphon 12 through the drain opening of the shower tray 15 . This is the in 13 state shown schematically produced.

As a result, a seal and a floor coating is applied to the screed and the top of the shower tray 15, which extends seamlessly (=jointless) over the edge of the shower tray and the subsequent screed, i.e. also over the intervening top of the edge web 1b.

Different modifications of the exemplary embodiment shown are conceivable and possible without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, nuts that have the threaded holes for the connecting screws 4 could be welded to the bottom web 1a.

If the outer diameter of the screw part 12a is larger than the diameter of the opening 2 in the mounting web 1c, the mounting plate 7 could also be omitted. The lower part 12b could possibly also lie against the underside of the mounting web 1c if the flexibility of the non-embedded section of the drain pipe 11 still allows the lower part 12b to be slightly pulled up later after the screed 14 has been introduced and hardened.

The mounting web 1c could also be designed in a different way, so that the opening for mounting the siphon is close to an edge area of the frame 1, for example.

In the exemplary embodiment, the bottom web 1a is designed to be circumferential (=continuous over the circumference of the frame). Instead, the bottom web 1a could also have interruptions, so that it has several separate sections, for example only in the corner areas of the frame 1.

The foot screws 6 could also be omitted and the threaded sleeves 5 could be rotatable (but not adjustable in height) connected to the feet 3.

Another possibility is that after the application and hardening of the screed, which extends under the frame 1 in contact with the bottom web 1a, the screwing and removing of the connecting screws 4 and the unscrewing of the screw part 12a of the siphon 12 of the frame 1 again is taken out. The shower tray 15 is then placed directly on the screed, with the circumferential gap between the shower tray 15 and the screed 14 being filled with filler. In this case, screed in the area of the openings of the frame 1 must not extend upwards over the lower surface of the bottom web 1a. The bottom bar 1a could possibly be made wider than shown in the figures. In this case, it is also expedient that the lower part 12b of the siphon is fixed with its upper side at the level of the underside of the holding bar 1c when it is attached to the holding bar 1c. For this purpose, the opening 2 in the mounting web 1c can be made smaller than the outer diameter of the lower part 12b, with the mounting plate 7 being omitted. Instead, a ring could also be inserted into the opening 2 between the mounting plate 7 and the lower part 12b, the outer diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the opening 2 and the inner diameter of which is smaller than the outer diameter of the lower part 12b. This ring could also be fixed to the underside of the mounting plate 7. The frame 1 is used in this case as a reusable formwork that is attached to the subfloor by connected to the subfloor 9, lost parts (in the embodiment, these are the feet 3 with the foot bolts 6 and the threaded sleeves 5) when applying the screed on the subfloor.
