Claims (10)

  1. A mounting device (1) for positioning and securing a sanitary appliance (2), in particular a toilet bowl, said device comprising
    at least two or exactly two mutually spaced vertical struts (4), wherein the vertical struts (4) are connected to one another by at least one or exactly one single hollow body (10) and wherein the hollow body (10) comprises at least one securing element (23), by means of which the sanitary appliance (2) can be secured to the mounting device (1),
    wherein, in respect of the at least one securing element (23), the hollow body (10) extends downward in the installed position,
    wherein the hollow body (10) is made of metal and is connected materially, in particular by means of a welded joint,
    wherein the front surface (19) of the vertical struts (4) defines a front plane (20) and the rear surface (21) of the vertical struts defines a rear plane (22), wherein the hollow body (10) lies between said two planes or is congruent with said planes,
    wherein the hollow body (10) has a front wall (11) and a rear wall (12) arranged at a distance from the front wall (11), which front wall (11) and rear wall (12) are connected by means of their lateral edges (13, 14) facing the vertical strut (4) to the respective vertical strut (4),
    wherein the front wall (11) and the rear wall (12) are connected by at least one reinforcing profile (15) and/or at least one reinforcing rib (16),

  2. The mounting device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the hollow body (10) is designed to be open, without a reinforcing profile (15) and/or reinforcing rib (16), at at least one lateral edge (18).
  3. The mounting device (1) as claimed in one of preceding claims, characterized in that the hollow body (10) is designed as a substantially completely closed hollow body.
  4. The mounting device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the maximum extent of the hollow body (10), when viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the vertical struts, is in a range of from 150 mm to 500 mm, in particular in a range of from 200 mm to 400 mm, particularly preferably 400 mm or 250 mm.
  5. The mounting device (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one securing element (23) is arranged at least partially, preferably completely, within the hollow body (10), wherein the hollow body (10) has openings (5) which provide access to the securing element (23).
  6. The mounting device (1) as claimed in claim 5, characterized in that the openings (5) are arranged in such a way that they provide a passage through the hollow body (10).
  7. The mounting device (1) as claimed in one of claims, characterized in that two securing elements (23) are arranged at a distance from one another, which two securing elements (23) are arranged to the side of the aperture.
  8. The mounting device (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one, preferably each, of the vertical struts (4) is connected to a foot pad (24), via which foot pad (24) the mounting device rests on a floor, wherein the foot pad (24) is preferably designed in such a way that it can be moved relative to the vertical strut (4) and can be locked relative to the vertical strut (4).
  9. The mounting device (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front wall (11) and/or the rear wall (12) of the hollow body (10) have bends and/or beads, which reinforce the hollow body.
  10. An arrangement comprising a mounting device as claimed in one of the preceding claims and a sanitary appliance mounted on the mounting device and having a supporting surface, wherein the supporting surface overlaps parts of the at least one hollow body (10).
