Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an assembly of a connection tab and a support element of a floor covering element, which support element comprises a base arranged to be placed on an elevation stud of a surface, which base comprises at a first longitudinal end a stopping member which extends substantially perpendicular to the base, which connection tab is arranged to connect the support element to the elevation stud.
  • Such a support element is known from US D 685,745 .
  • the known support element comprises a stop member having a geometry in the form of an ellipse, which is placed at a first longitudinal end of the base.
  • the support element is used to be placed on an elevation stud of a surface and to support a floor covering element which is placed on the stud and which is at the height of a wall edge.
  • the pedestal When the ground is inclined, the pedestal serves not only to raise the surface, but also to compensate for the slope.
  • the floor covering for example formed by slabs or a natural or synthetic wood floor, is then placed on the pedestal.
  • FROM 10 2014 115 272 A1 describes a support element for a floor covering element, which support element comprises a base arranged to be placed on a pedestal elevation of a surface. This last support element also includes a stopping member. However, the stopping member used in FROM 10 2014 115 272 A1 is used to attach a joist and not to be placed against a wall or partition.
  • a disadvantage of the known support element is that its use is limited to walls or rectilinear walls. Modern architecture and construction techniques and materials now allow the use of geometric shapes other than straight lines. There is therefore a need to have raised surfaces which can be combined with walls or non-rectilinear walls, or which form corners.
  • the object of the invention is to produce an assembly comprising a support element which can be used with walls and walls of different geometries and which offers great flexibility to be able to adjust the position of the support element relative to the wall or Wall.
  • first attachment members can engage between the attachment strips, this cooperation between the first attachment members and the strips will allow the support element to be able to carry out a translation movement relative to the stud.
  • second attachment members allow rotation of the connection tab relative to the elevation stud, and as the support element is connected to the connection tab, the rotation of the connection tab will also allow rotation of the support element relative to the elevation stud. This therefore offers great flexibility in the adjustment of the support element relative to the wall or wall.
  • a first embodiment of a support element according to the invention describes that the base is provided with at least one first window which extends longitudinally in the base. These first windows are used to introduce spacer pieces which will then extend between the floor covering elements to keep them at a distance from each other.
  • a second embodiment of a support element according to the invention describes that the set of first attachment members comprises two pairs of first attachment members, the first attachment members being arranged so that 'they each form an angle of approximately 90° between them, one of the pairs being housed between the attachment slats and the other pair penetrates into the first window located between the attachment slats of the first set when the tab connection is connected to the support element. This helps to correctly guide the support element during its translation relative to the elevation stud.
  • the base also comprises a second window which has a curved geometry, which second window extends at the height of a second longitudinal end of the base, which second end is located on the opposite side to that of the first longitudinal end.
  • a second window which has a curved geometry, which second window extends at the height of a second longitudinal end of the base, which second end is located on the opposite side to that of the first longitudinal end.
  • a third embodiment of a support element according to the invention describes that the window(s) is(are) arranged in a recess provided in the base. This contributes to the ease of moving the spacer pieces in the windows.
  • a fourth embodiment of a support element according to the invention describes that each intermediate piece is arranged to be placed in the window so as to also be able to carry out a translation movement in the window. This offers great flexibility for arranging the interlayer.
  • the base has a series of perforations passing through this base. This makes it possible to fix the support element on the elevation stud using the perforations to insert screws used to fix the support element on the stud.
  • a fifth embodiment of a support element according to the invention describes that the set of first attachment members is arranged on a first face of a disk around a center of this disk. The latter helps to facilitate the translation of the support element.
  • each first attachment member comprises a first segment which extends in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first face of the disc and a second segment substantially perpendicular to the first segment and in a direction which moves away from the center of the disc, a third segment of the first attachment member being connected to the second segment and forms an angle located between 15° and 35° with the first segment. This facilitates the engagement of the connection tab in the attachment strips.
  • a sixth embodiment of a support element according to the invention describes that the stopping member is formed by at least one flap provided with a notch which extends over the height of the flap, the notch having a depth such as to allow bending and/or removal of a section of the flap located between the notch and a distal end of the flap.
  • the presence of the notch thus makes it possible either to bend said section of the flap, or to remove it, in order to thus be able to adapt the support element to the geometry of the wall or wall facing which it will be placed.
  • the support element can thus adapt to the geometry of the wall or wall, it becomes possible to provide support for the covering element right up against the wall or wall, even if the latter is non-rectilinear. or forms a corner.
  • the notch is located in a part of the bib located between 1/3 and 2/3, in particular between 4/9 and 5/9, of the length of the bib. This allows on the one hand to always keep a section of the flap which will be in contact with the wall or the wall, and on the other hand to be able to bend the flap sufficiently or remove a section of it, and to be able to adapt the support element to a wide variety of wall or wall geometry.
  • the flap(s) is(are) placed on a third foot and offset from the base. This makes it possible to break part of the flap without distorting the base of the support element.
  • each spacer piece is arranged to be placed in the window so as to be able to rotate in the window. This helps to facilitate the orientation of intermediate pieces between the covering elements.
  • the support element is provided with a hole which is located at the height of the first longitudinal end, which hole is dimensioned to fix an intermediate piece there. This increases the possibility of placing spacer pieces.

  • the flap also includes reinforcing ribs 15, one of which is placed at the distal end 6d of the flap and at least one other in each section of the flap.
  • reinforcing ribs 15 are used to stiffen the bib.
  • the ribs of reinforcement are placed on the face of the bib oriented towards the base, while the front face of the bib is preferably smooth to facilitate its installation against the wall or wall.
  • the flap has a thickness of 3mm and the reinforcing rib has a thickness of 2mm, which makes a total thickness of 5mm at the height of the rib.
  • This thickness of 2mm makes it possible to create a distance between the flap and the floor covering which will be placed against the flap and these reinforcing ribs, thus leaving a space of 2mm which can be used for drainage, for example of rainwater.
  • the bib(s) is or are placed on a third foot 8-1, 8-2, which is offset from the base 2. This makes it possible to break part of the bib , or to remove one of the flaps, without distorting the base of the support element.
