- Agent (a) was applied to a strand of hair (Kerling, Euro natural hair white, liquor ratio: 4 g of composition (a) per g of strand of hair) and then left to act for one minute. The lock of hair was then immersed in the aftertreatment agent (b) and left in it for 1 minute. Each strand of hair was then washed thoroughly with water (1 minute), dried and assessed visually under the daylight lamp. To determine the wash fastness, the previously colored strands of hair were placed in an ultrasonic bath which was filled with a 1% solution of a commercially available shampoo (foam, 7 herbs). Then the strands of hair were treated with ultrasound using a standardized procedure, which corresponds to 6 washes. After this period, the strands were removed from the ultrasound bath, dried and visually assessed again under the daylight lamp.
