Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fastening device for the temporary coupling of accessories to a handgun according to claim 1.
  • the invention also relates to an accessory with such an integrally formed fastening device.
  • accessories for handguns are any piece of equipment that is intended to be temporarily connected to the weapon and also to be detached again.
  • These can be laser target devices, red dot reticles, range finders, or light sources of any kind.
  • Rifle scopes, IR aiming aids and the like are also to be understood for the present invention.
  • a fastening device is also conceivable for fastening to objects other than handguns, such as vehicles, and should therefore be read by a person skilled in the art in this sense.
  • At least one guide element is required on the handgun, which has a longitudinal extent and which has at least one depression transversely to its longitudinal extent.
  • Such guide elements can be, for example, various rails, such as the rail on the underside of GLOCK® pistols, or also rails attached to the side or top of the weapon housing.
  • the widespread Picatinny rails according to MILSPEC are suitable for the present invention.
  • a guide device that can be screwed to the housing of the accessory is known, which has a rigid extension for fixing the accessory to a guide element in the longitudinal direction, which engages in a recess of the guide element, eg a transverse groove of a GLOCK pistol.
  • the US 9857142 B2 proposes an alternative fastening device which can be "pivoted" onto a Picatinny rail and fixed to a recess provided there by means of an extension.
  • This attachment device has an additional Picatinny rail on the outside for attaching an accessory.
  • US201106128A discloses a handgun accessory attachment device.
  • This fastening device comprises a housing with guides, a spring element and a rotatable locking element.
  • the object of the present invention was to overcome the known disadvantages mentioned above in the prior art and to provide a fastening device which is designed to be compact and space-saving.
  • a fastening device leads to the solution of the aforementioned objects;
  • a locking shaft with at least one locking extension is rotatably and displaceably mounted in a housing of the fastening device such that the locking extension contacts a guide element of a handgun in the area of a recess in a locking position and is disengaged from the recess in the open position.
  • the locking shaft has a selector button on which a latching projection protrudes.
  • a connection portion is provided at a second end of the lock shaft to be connected to a bearing knob.
  • the locking shaft can be prestressed in the direction of the bearing button by means of a spring element.
  • the bearing button When handling, the bearing button is first operated in order to slightly displace the locking shaft along the shaft axis.
  • the selector button is thus also deflected relative to the device housing and the locking shaft is released for rotation into the open position.
  • One or more detents are provided on the device housing in the area of the selector button, which detents define a detent position of the detent extension—that is, essentially a defined end position that defines an angular position of the locking shaft.
  • the relative movement of the locking shaft is the Detent projection brought out of its detent position.
  • the catch on the device housing is preferably designed to be complementary in shape to the catch extension.
  • the locking extension In the thus defined release position, the locking extension can be brought out of engagement with a corresponding depression of the weapon-side guide element by rotating the locking shaft. In this open position, the fastening device can be displaced along the guides or the guide elements of the weapon. To fasten the fastening device to the handgun, it is necessary to assume the locking position in the reverse order, ie by bringing the locking extension into engagement with a recess. The prestressing of the locking button results in a spring-loaded locking of the locking extension by being partially or completely countersunk in the locking of the device housing.
  • the housing of the fastening device has guides which enable longitudinal guidance, primarily lateral, along guide elements of a handgun.
  • these guides also offer an additional support surface in the vertical direction, that is, viewed from the weapon “up” and/or “down” through a profile complementary in shape to the guide element. This can be realized with a T-profile as well as preferably when using Picatinny rails.
  • the guide is preferably designed as guide rails (also often referred to as guide rails), these guide rails not having to be continuous in the longitudinal direction.
  • the twisting of the locking extension enables contact and possibly also bracing of the fastening device—and thus of the accessory—on the weapon.
  • a further advantage of the invention lies in the possibility of having the locking position assumed largely automatically by the spring preload. This "self-locking effect" benefits the user during routine assembly after changing accessories, but especially in stressful situations.
  • the invention extends to any type of accessory, such as a tactical light, a red dot sight, or the like, that has such a fastening device integrated.
  • the invention can also be used as an adapter for accessories with an alternative fastening device, or as a spacer. This can be used, for example, when mounting a telescopic sight on an adapter that can be attached to the weapon relatively quickly and with repeat accuracy using the proposed attachment device.
  • the weapon has a central weapon plane that runs through the barrel axis and is oriented vertically, which, cum grana salis, forms a plane of symmetry. Coordinate systems are drawn in individual figures, with the X-axis pointing forward parallel to the barrel, the Z-axis pointing upwards when the weapon is held normally (ready to fire) and at least essentially defines the middle plane of the weapon, and the Y-axis is the transverse axis pointing to the left while the weapon is held ready to fire.
  • the 1 shows schematically a fastening device 1 (Fig.la), as well as the fastening device 1 mounted on an accessory 8 (Fig.lb) in an exploded view, the direction of the barrel axis is entered parallel to the x-direction of the coordinate system shown, runs in this direction also the lead 6.
  • the locking shaft 10 is designed to be insertable into the device housing 5 along the shaft axis 9 and connectable to the bearing button 16 on the connecting section 14 .
  • the connecting section 14 can be formed with the bearing knob 16, for example, as a detachable screw or plug connection, or also as a non-detachable plug connection.
  • the locking shaft 10 is preferably secured to the connecting section 14 by means of a spring washer or, as in Fig.1a visible, secured against unintentional loosening by means of a pin or spring pin.
  • An equally suitable, albeit non-detachable, plug-in connection is shown in Figure 9b implied.
  • the spring element 7 is used to prestress the locking shaft 10 in the installed state in the direction of the bearing button 16 and thus pulls the selector button 11 essentially in the direction of the locking position.
  • the spring element 7 is preferably arranged between the housing 5 and the bearing knob 16, although alternative arrangements are also conceivable.
  • the spring element 7 can be designed as a spiral spring, preferably as a conical spring.
  • the bearing button 16 can possibly be hollow in order to accommodate the spring element 7 and thus to save space.
  • the locking shaft 10 has a plurality of sections and can be designed in multiple parts or, preferably, in one piece.
  • a selector button 11 is formed at the first end and has a latching extension 12 in at least one spatial direction. It is also possible for several latching projections to be formed, or for example a star-shaped one Selector knob 11.
  • the lock shaft 10 has the connecting portion 14 previously described at the second end.
  • a middle section or middle part 13 is formed in between, from which at least one locking extension 15 is formed projecting in at least one spatial direction.
  • the selector button 11 can possibly have several steps towards the middle part 13 in order to provide improved support or support in the selector recess 19 ( Figure 5b ) to reach.
  • the device housing 5 has one or more openings in the transverse direction, ie the y-direction in the selected representation, which run normal to the guide 6 .
  • the guide 6 is designed to interact with the guide elements 3 of a handgun or other object. This will be off Fig. 1b very clearly visible, in which the front section of a weapon housing 2 and a tactical light 8 with a fastening device 1 can be seen.
  • the weapon housing 2 has guide elements 3 with a recess 4 on its underside.
  • the accessory 8 can be pushed onto the weapon housing 2 by longitudinal displacement of the fastening device 1 along the dashed lines and can be fastened by turning the selector knob 12, as will be explained in more detail later.
  • the fastening device 1 has several openings (cf. the corners of the device housing 5) in order to be screwed to an accessory 8, for example.
  • FIG. 2 schematic representations of assembled fastening devices 1 can be seen, with the fastening device 1 in Figure 2a screwed to the accessory 8 or in Figure 2b is formed integrally with the accessory 8.
  • a tactical light is attached to a weapon housing 2
  • a red dot or red dot sight is shown as an accessory 8.
  • the fastening device 1 is also very well suited for guiding elements 3 of long guns.
  • the representation corresponds to the weapon housing 2, a simplified section through a fore-end profile of a Assault rifle and represents a greatly simplified guide rail with several depressions 4 as the guide element 3.
  • the guides 6 ( 1 ) educated.
  • the guides 6 are particularly preferably matched to the guide elements 3 in accordance with their cross-sectional shape and are therefore of complementary design. It is up to the person skilled in the art to design the shape and position tolerances accordingly in order to achieve the desired fit. This is also known in the case of guides in the prior art and therefore does not pose a problem with knowledge of the invention.
  • FIG. 3 is a schematic representation of an exemplary fastening device 1 in a side view (left row of images) and in a rear view (right row of images).
  • Figure 3a the open position - i.e. for the longitudinal adjustment of the fastening device 1 along the guides 6 - or in Figure 3b the locking position can be seen.
  • the fastening principle according to the invention quickly becomes clear.
  • the selector button 11 is pushed out of the device housing 5 in the y-direction by actuating the bearing button 16 and the latching extension 12 is rotated downwards, as a result of which the locking extension 15 is "pivoted in” in a recess 27 of the device housing 5 .
  • the locking extension 15 is disengaged from the recess 4 of a weapon housing 2 or another object and in this position no longer protrudes or only slightly protrudes over the surface of the device housing 5, as is particularly evident in Figure 3a right (or Figure 11a ) can be seen. In this way, a longitudinal displacement of the fastening device 1 along guide elements 3 ( Fig. 1b ) enabled. Due to the above-mentioned forms of connection, the locking shaft 10 is mounted in the installed state so that it can be displaced and/or rotated within limits within the device housing 5 .
  • the locking extension 15 is also removed from the recess 27 (cf. e.g figs 4-7 , 11 ) "pivoted out” and can a longitudinal displacement of the fastening device 1 by Prevent engagement in a corresponding recess 4 of the guide element 3.
  • the selector recess 19 and/or the catch 17 are preferably formed with a shape complementary to the selector button 11 or the selector extension 12 . This allows the selector button 11 and/or the selector extension 12 to be at least partially accommodated in the device housing 5 and thus protrude little or not at all above the surface thereof.
  • the proposed design makes accidental locking and unlocking relatively unlikely.
  • the locking state is clearly visible and can even be felt in the dark, as can be determined relatively easily by the protruding bearing extension 16 or the snapped-in latching extension 12 .
  • the figs 4-7 Various exemplary embodiments can be seen, which primarily show the possibilities of different locking extensions 15.
  • the figs 4-7 are structured analogously in that the installation process can be seen from right to left and the locking status can be seen in the left column.
  • the top row (each in FIG. XXa) shows plan views in the z-direction.
  • corresponding sectional views BB ' of the shaft axis 9 can be seen in the plan views.
  • Sectional views CC ' and D-D' through the center plane of the fastening device 1 on the guide element 3 of a handgun are shown schematically in the respective lower section (Fig.XXc), as can be seen from a synopsis with 2 becomes clear.
  • the figs 4c and 5c correspond with Figure 2a or the figs 6c and 7c With Figure 2b .
  • the locking extension 15 is formed in the middle part 13 on one side of the locking shaft 10 .
  • the locking shaft 10 is inserted into the device body 5 as shown in the figures below in Figure 4b very clearly visible on average.
  • the locking extension 15 can be inserted in such a way that it is “pivoted” into the recess 27 .
  • the latching extension 12 can engage in the latch 17 as described above and the locking extension 15 is "up", ie from the Recess 27 "pivoted out” and is therefore in engagement with a recess 4.
  • the fastening device 1 can thus be supported in the longitudinal direction of the guide 6 in relation to a weapon housing 2 and can thus be fastened to a handgun without play.
  • the fastening device 1 can be designed in such a way that the support is provided via the guide element 3 by engaging in one or more depressions, as will be explained later.
  • a person skilled in the art can also minimize play by suitably adapting the guide 6 in relation to the guide elements 3 of a handgun.
  • Another possible embodiment is also from 4 , and particularly good at 6 to see, after which at least one locking extension 15 has a cantilever arm 21 in the direction of bearing knob 16.
  • This cantilever arm 21 is used in the locking position to engage in a secondary locking recess 120 arranged parallel to the shaft axis 9 on the device housing 5 .
  • the cantilever 21 also supports the locking shaft 10 in the locking state in the device housing 5, after which an improved load transfer and a relief of the bearing points of the locking shaft 10 can be achieved, as particularly well in Figure 6b evident.
  • FIG 5 Another possible embodiment of a locking shaft 10 with locking extensions 15 protruding on both sides is shown.
  • the description of Figures 4a and b can be applied mutatis mutandis. It should be emphasized, however, that in comparison to the one-sided locking extension 15 of 4 through the formation of the two locking extensions 15 on both sides, an additional support of the locking shaft 10 on the device housing 5 is achieved, see FIG Figure 4c .
  • In the locking position thus presses the "upper" locking extension 15 in the x-direction against the weapon housing 2 on the side wall of the recess 4, while the “lower” locking extension 15 on the device housing 5 engages on the side wall of the recess 27 . This can relieve the pivot points of the lock shaft 10 in the device case 5 .
  • FIG. 6 Another possible embodiment of a locking shaft 10 is in 6 shown schematically.
  • the description of Figures 4a and b can be applied mutatis mutandis, in the example shown 6 the locking extension 15 formed on one side is interrupted in the longitudinal direction of the locking shaft 10 or is formed as two locking extensions 15 spaced apart from one another along the shaft axis 9 .
  • This embodiment is particularly suitable for Picatinny rails with a central longitudinal groove, since the two locking projections 15 press against the Picatinny rail in the locked state and the longitudinal groove nevertheless remains free.
  • Figure 5c is in the sectional view D-D' for this reason the locking extension 15 is also behind the sectional plane, the function is otherwise as for Figure 4c described.
  • FIG. 7 Another possible embodiment is 7 shown, in which the locking extension 15 has the cross-sectional shape of a segment of a circle, as particularly well shown in Figure 7c evident.
  • the installation and the function are analogous to the previously mentioned versions.
  • the locking extension 15 in at least one further spatial direction, preferably diametrically opposite and normal to the shaft axis 9, as is the case, for example, with the cross-sectional shape of a wave shape or S shape.
  • the embodiment with two locking extensions 15 ( figure 5 ) is to be understood here.
  • FIGS. 8a and 8b two exploded perspective views of an accessory 8 with the fastening device 1 mounted are shown schematically.
  • Figure 8a the "right" side with two selector recesses 19 can be seen, in which the selector buttons 11 can be accommodated after the insertion of the locking shafts 10.
  • only one of the selector buttons 11 has a latch extension 12 which is designed to interact with the latch 17—mutatis mutandis to the previous description.
  • the two locking shafts 10 are designed to be actuated together by only one of the locking shafts 10, practically those with the latching projection 12, being actuated.
  • the two locking shafts 10 are connected via a coupling device 24, as shown in conjunction with FIG Figure 8b can be seen very clearly.
  • the coupling device 24 comprises two rotary discs and a coupling rod 26, the rotary discs 25 being assigned to a corresponding locking shaft 10 in the installed state and being connected to it, preferably detachably, and the coupling rod 26 connecting the two rotary discs 25 to one another.
  • the connection of the turntables 25 to the locking shaft 10 can be done, for example, by a plug-in connection with a complementary profile, as shown in FIG 8 can be seen very nicely.
  • the connection of the rotary disks 25 to the coupling rod is also preferably designed via a plug connection, with the rotary disks 25 having small connecting projections for the coupling rod 26, as shown in FIG Figure 8b apparent.
  • FIG. 9 The installation condition can be very well in 9 can be seen, in which a sectional view EE' in the z-direction from "above” at the height of the shaft axis 9 ( Figure 9a ) is shown.
  • the locking shaft 10 can be slightly displaced along the shaft axis 9 and rotated about it in the release position.
  • the Figure 9c shows schematically the engagement situation of the locking projections 15 in two recesses 4 of a guide element 3 during opposite movement from the rest position to the working position or locking position, as corresponding to the embodiment in 8 and Figure 9a would occur.
  • This sectional view is analogous to that figs 4c-7c shown on the shaft axis 9.
  • This special connection of the two locking shafts 10 makes it possible for the fastening device 1 to be supported on both sides only on the guide element 3 .
  • FIG 9b is one to Figure 9a shown corresponding sectional view, wherein the connecting portion 14 is designed as a non-detachable plug connection.
  • the exemplary embodiment is illustrated in the associated detailed view.
  • the connecting section 14 has a widening and a notch, in which a protrusion of the otherwise hollow bearing button 16 can engage.
  • a hollow locking shaft 10 or connecting section 14 would be formed here, for example, and the corresponding bearing button 16 would have a peg-shaped or mushroom-shaped extension on its inside. It is also clear to a person skilled in the art that these projections, notches, etc. do not necessarily have to be formed around the entire circumference in order to achieve the desired attachment.
  • the appropriate design of the coupling connection 24 can be made relatively easy by a person skilled in the art by rotating the to cause both locking shafts 10 in the same direction of rotation. This measure can reduce the local surface pressure of the locking extensions 15 on the side wall of the respective depression 4 or the bearing points of the locking shafts.
  • variants of the present invention are not shown, in which a second detent 17 is provided on the device housing 5 in such a way that pivoting of the locking shaft 10 in the “opposite direction” is also possible.
  • the recess 27 should advantageously be so wide that the locking extension 15 can be pivoted in the “opposite direction”.
  • Such an embodiment is very advantageous, especially in combination with two locking projections 15 which are formed on both sides of the locking shaft 10, since the fastening device 1 can be used both "to the front” and “to the rear”--viewed in the longitudinal direction of the guide 6.
  • This largely corresponds to the idea of a "both-sided" design, since the accessory 8 can thus be attached to the handgun in both directions.
  • these variants can be combined with all of the previously described embodiments.
  • FIG. 10 Another exemplary embodiment is shown, which shows a coupling device 1 with two locking shafts 10 that act and can be actuated independently of one another, see in particular Figure 10c .
  • the directions of rotation of the locking shafts 10 are provided in opposite directions, with the function being analogous to the previous description of the Figures 4-7 takes place and a detailed description is therefore omitted at this point.

  • Such a connecting link 22 can also or alternatively be provided for the self-centering of a cantilever arm 21 on the locking extension 15 in the secondary locking recess 20 .
  • a connecting link 22 can facilitate snapping into the locking position due to the spring preload and, in extreme cases, can even cause self-centering or self-locking when the selector button 11 is released.
