Definitions

  • the invention relates to a motor vehicle locking and/or access system, with a motor vehicle door lock, and with at least one further door element, the motor vehicle door lock and the additional door element being acted upon by a common functional unit.
  • motor vehicle locking and/or access system means a technical device which is used and used in connection with a locking and/or access process to a motor vehicle. Such systems are generally used on or in conjunction with motor vehicle doors.
  • motor vehicle door is to be interpreted broadly in this context and within the scope of the present invention. This includes not only motor vehicle side doors, but also, for example, a tailgate, a front hood, a fuel tank flap, a tailgate, etc.
  • the further door element is, for example, a window regulator, an electrically adjustable exterior mirror, etc.
  • a window regulator is used as a door element.
  • the window regulator has a window regulator motor as a common functional unit together with the motor vehicle door lock there.
  • the window regulator motor actually ensures that lock functions can be carried out at the same time or with a time delay.
  • These lock functions of the motor vehicle door lock include, for example, electrical opening, closing, anti-theft locking/unlocking, inserting and releasing child locks, central locking, etc.
  • the functional unit that drives the door element and the motor vehicle door lock or the window lift motor in the example case is also equipped with a matching control board. This procedure is intended to provide an overall weight reduction and optimized use of space inside the motor vehicle door with a simplified structure.
  • the lock logic arrangement has a lock mechanism with an actuator.
  • the lock mechanism can be set to mechanical lock settings that can sometimes be combined with each other using the actuator.
  • the state of the art according to the EP 1 567 739 B1 has basically proven itself when it comes to having the motor vehicle door lock and the other door element, for example the window regulator, acted upon by a common functional unit, the window regulator motor in the example case.
  • a powerful motor is oversized to implement the additional lock functions. For this reason, separate window regulator motors are often still used in practice.
  • EP 3 192 955 A1 discloses a motor vehicle locking and/or access system with a common functional unit which has a motor drive unit and an electronic control unit, wherein an external door handle can be extended and retracted and a motor vehicle door lock can be opened electrically by means of the motor drive unit.
  • the invention is based on the technical problem of further developing such a motor vehicle locking and/or access system in such a way that a compact structure with a still common functional unit is provided, but the motor vehicle door lock and the other door element are independent of them Designed to be comparable. Furthermore, the operation of the system should also be guaranteed if an on-board voltage inside the motor vehicle has failed or has completely broken down.
  • a common functional unit is still used and unchanged, with the help of which both the motor vehicle door lock and the other door element and specifically the door handle arrangement are acted upon. This is done based on the knowledge that the motor vehicle door lock and the door handle arrangement are designed to be comparable. The comparability arises due to the required actuating forces on the one hand and taking into account the necessary controls on the other.
  • the common functional unit for acting on the motor vehicle door lock and the door handle arrangement is, for example, a motor drive unit
  • this usually ensures that an external door handle is used as part of the door handle arrangement compared to the Motor vehicle door is issued. This requires relatively low actuation forces, which in the example case must be applied by the motor drive unit.
  • the motor vehicle door lock which also uses the common motor drive unit in order to be able to carry out functional states such as electrical opening, closing, anti-theft locking/unlocking, inserting and releasing child locks, central locking, central unlocking, etc.
  • functional states such as electrical opening, closing, anti-theft locking/unlocking, inserting and releasing child locks, central locking, central unlocking, etc.
  • the common functional unit and specifically the motor drive unit is designed approximately the same for both functions described, so that over- or under-dimensioning is avoided and yet a particularly compact structure is provided.
  • the common functional unit can in principle also be designed as an electronic control unit.
  • the functional unit works electrically.
  • the motor drive unit described above corresponds to a mechanically operating functional unit.
  • the functional unit common to the invention has both at least one motor drive unit and an electronic control unit. If a common functional unit not according to the invention is designed as an electronic control unit, it can be assumed that the motor vehicle door lock on the one hand and the door handle arrangement on the other hand are designed to be comparable.
  • the motor vehicle door lock uses the electronic control unit to query sensors inside the motor vehicle door lock and to convert them into corresponding control signals for, for example, the additionally provided motor drive unit, which drives the associated mechanical elements inside the motor vehicle door lock.
  • the "tightening" process in a motor vehicle door lock corresponds to the motor drive unit acting on a rotary latch as part of a locking mechanism consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl. This happens until a sensor that queries the locking state of the locking mechanism first detects, for example, an overtravel position and then a Main locking position of the locking mechanism registered. As soon as this is the case, the electronic control unit ensures that the motor drive unit is switched off after reaching the overtravel position (or the main detent position).
  • the position of a door handle or external door handle can be queried as part of the door handle arrangement using the electronic control unit.
  • the door handle arrangement is usually an external door handle arrangement and therefore the door handle is an external door handle.
  • the invention can also be transferred to an interior door handle arrangement.
  • the common electronic control unit can detect a closed position of the outer door handle using a sensor from the motor vehicle door lock on the one hand and the door handle arrangement on the other, just as and in a comparable manner to the motor vehicle door lock.
  • the closed position of the outer door handle may correspond to its completely retracted position relative to an outer door panel of the motor vehicle door.
  • the opened or exposed position of the outside door handle in question then belongs to the exposed position of the outside door handle relative to the outside door panel, so that a user wanting access can grab the outside door handle and open the motor vehicle door in question mechanically and manually.
  • this assumes that the motor vehicle door lock of the associated motor vehicle door has previously been opened (electrically).
  • the outside door handle must be opened, which can be done using the motor drive unit, which in turn is acted upon by the electronic control unit.
  • the procedure is such that the common functional unit of the motor vehicle door lock and the door handle arrangement is regularly placed on or in an associated door leaf, spatially separated from the motor vehicle door lock and the door handle arrangement in question.
  • the invention thereby enables a particularly flexible arrangement of the common functional unit inside the motor vehicle door.
  • the common functional unit it is also possible for the common functional unit to be placed on the door handle arrangement.
  • the common functional unit is to be arranged on the motor vehicle door lock. This means that particularly compact and space-saving arrangements can be implemented if necessary.
  • the common functional unit has at least one mechanically and one electrically operating functional element.
  • the mechanically operating functional element of the functional unit is the motor drive unit, whereas the electrically operating functional element is designed as an electronic control unit.
  • the motor drive unit is mechanically coupled to the motor vehicle door lock and/or the door handle arrangement in question via at least one flexible connecting means.
  • This flexible connecting means is particularly advantageously a Bowden cable.
  • the control unit is also electrically coupled to the motor vehicle door lock and the door handle assembly. This can be done wirelessly and/or wired.
  • the invention uses at least one connecting line for this purpose.
  • the connecting line can be a bus line of an electronic control bus.
  • the control unit is equipped with an integrated energy storage device.
  • the energy storage can be designed as a rechargeable battery or a non-rechargeable battery.
  • capacitors so-called supercapacitors or supercaps, has also proven to be particularly beneficial. These are particularly high-capacity capacitors.
  • the subject of the invention is also a motor vehicle door which is equipped with the motor vehicle locking and/or access system described in detail above.
  • a motor vehicle locking and/or access system and a motor vehicle door equipped with it are made available, which are flexible to different requirements with regard to the attachment of the motor vehicle door lock and the door handle arrangement in or on the motor vehicle door.
  • the common functional unit can specifically be a motor drive unit and/or an electronic control unit.
  • the motor drive unit By using the motor drive unit and/or the electronic control unit together, the overall installation space required is reduced and problematic installation conditions inside the motor vehicle door can also be managed.
  • the motor drive unit is designed in such a way that it can be used to display both lock functions inside the motor vehicle door lock and the control functions of the external door handle acted upon by it. This is where the main advantages can be seen.
  • the figures show a motor vehicle door that is equipped with a motor vehicle locking and/or access system, which is explained in detail below.
  • the motor vehicle door initially has an indicated door leaf 1.
  • the motor vehicle door shown is not necessarily a motor vehicle side door.
  • a tailgate, front hood, fuel filler flap, tailgate, etc. could just as easily be implemented at this point.
  • the door leaf 1, for its part, is regularly composed of an outer door panel and an inner door panel, which together define a cavity for installing or adding door elements.
  • Another door element (in addition to the motor vehicle door lock 2) may also be arranged on the outside of the outer door panel, which is as shown in the Fig.
  • the common functional unit 5, 6 has at least one mechanically operating functional element 5 and additionally an electrically operating functional element 6.
  • the mechanically operating functional element 5 is a motor drive unit 5, while the electrically operating functional element 6 is designed as an electronic control unit 6.

  • the motor drive unit 5 is located on the door handle arrangement 3, 4. Alternatively, attachment to the motor vehicle door lock 2 is also possible.
  • both the mechanically operating functional element or the motor drive unit 5 as well as the electrically operating functional element and therefore the electronic control unit 6 are implemented together.
  • Fig. 3 It can be seen that the common functional unit 5, 6 can be placed and arranged spatially separately from the motor vehicle door lock 2 and also the door handle arrangement 3, 4. But it is also possible for the common functional unit 5, 6 to be placed on the door handle arrangement 3, 4. This then applies to both the motor drive unit 5 and the electronic control unit 6 individually or in combination, which, however, is not shown.
  • the common functional unit 5, 6 is arranged on the motor vehicle door lock 2 and is also spatially separated from the motor vehicle door lock 2 and the door handle arrangement 3, 4.
  • the electrically operating functional element or the electronic control unit 6 is part of the common functional unit 5, 6 arranged on said motor vehicle door lock 2.
  • the mechanically operating functional element or the motor drive unit 5 is placed spatially separated from both the motor vehicle door lock 2 and the door handle arrangement 3, 4.
  • the motor drive unit 5 is arranged on the motor vehicle door lock 2
  • the electronic control unit 6 is placed spatially separately from the motor vehicle door lock 2 and the door handle arrangement 3, 4.
  • Individual functional elements 5, 6 of the functional unit 5, 6 can just as easily be placed either on the door handle arrangement 3, 4, on the motor vehicle door lock 2 or spatially separated from both the motor vehicle door lock 2 and the door handle arrangement 3, 4. However, this is not shown in detail in this variety.
  • the motor drive unit 5 is mechanically coupled to the motor vehicle door lock and/or the door handle arrangement 3, 4 via at least one flexible connecting means 7. If you look at the design variant according to the Fig. 3 , it can be seen that the motor drive unit 5 is coupled to both the motor vehicle door lock 2 and the door handle arrangement 3, 4 via a questionable flexible connecting means 7, which in the exemplary embodiment is in each case a Bowden cable.
  • the electronic control unit 6 can also be electrically coupled to the motor vehicle door lock 2 and the door handle arrangement 3, 4, namely wirelessly and/or wired.
  • at least one connecting line 8 is provided for the coupling.
  • the electronic control unit 6 is coupled to both the door handle arrangement 3, 4 and the motor vehicle door lock 2 via the said connecting line 8, which can be a supply line for electrical energy and/or a data line.
  • the motor drive unit 5 there is only coupled to the motor vehicle door lock 2 via the flexible connecting means 7.
  • the electronic control unit 6 is equipped with an integrated energy storage device not expressly shown.
  • the energy storage can be a high-capacity accumulator and/or capacitor.
  • the common electronic control unit 6 is able, depending on the coupling with the associated functional element 5, 6, not only to control it, but also to supply it with electrical energy if necessary.
