Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a sliding door fitting with a guide rail, a first carriage and a second carriage, between which a connecting rod is arranged, wherein each carriage is movable along the guide rail and has a support part which is movable between a raised and a lowered position in order to hold or fix a sliding leaf along a guide rail, and a fixing part is provided which, in a lowered position of the sliding leaf, at least partially surrounds or engages in the guide rail for fixing.
  • the EP 3 064 683 B1 discloses a carriage arrangement for a sliding door, in which each carriage has a support part that can be raised or lowered via a lifting device.
  • Such lifting devices for sliding doors have proven themselves, but in the lowered position of a sliding door, forces from wind loads or thermal loads can cause bending of the frame profiles of a sliding leaf, which can have a detrimental effect on the tightness.
  • the EP 2 132 392 B1 proposed to mount a sash positioner on a downwardly open groove in the frame profile of the sliding sash. In a lowered position, this sash positioner grips around an upwardly protruding web of the guide rail and thus prevents horizontal bending of the frame profile perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail in the lowered position.
  • a similar construction is also shown in the EP 3 530 861 A1 , in which a guide rail engagement part is mounted on a groove in the frame profile that is open at the bottom.
  • a fixing part is provided for fixing the sliding leaf in the lowered position, which at least partially surrounds the guide rail or engages in it, wherein the fixing part is held on the connecting rod between the first and the second carriage.
  • the fixing part is thus positioned by the connecting rod and can be mounted in a simple manner. Mounting by fixing it to a frame profile of the sliding door is not necessary.
  • the fixing part has a receptacle into which a section of the connecting rod is inserted. This allows the fixing part to be plugged onto the connecting rod and secured, for example, using locking means or clamping elements. This enables tool-free assembly by manually plugging the fixing part onto the connecting rod and fixing it in place by clamping or locking it.
  • the fixing part preferably has holding means on an underside which limit movement of the fixing part in the lowered position of the sliding sash perpendicular to the guide rail.
  • the fixing part can have a groove on the underside which is open downwards, or several groove-shaped sections which surround an upwardly projecting web of a guide rail, so that movement in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail is prevented.
  • the holding means on the underside of the fixing part can also be a downwardly projecting web or projection which engages in a groove or slot on the guide rail in order to ensure fixation in a lateral direction.
  • the holding means can be adapted to the geometry of the guide rail accordingly.
  • the fixing part preferably has at least one laterally protruding projection, in particular lateral projections can be provided on opposite sides, each projection being arranged between a bottom side of the frame profile of the sliding door and the guide rail.
  • the at least one laterally protruding projection prevents the fixing part from being lifted when a load is applied, since the projection is prevented from being lifted by a lower contact surface on the frame profile. This enables the frame profile to be reliably secured when loads are applied. by wind or thermal stress.
  • several spaced projections are provided on each side of the fixing part to prevent the fixing part from being lifted in different positions.
  • the fixing part can also be secured against being lifted by the bottom of the groove. The bottom of the groove can thus also keep the fixing part in engagement with the guide rail when the sliding door is in the lowered position, so that the side projections can optionally be dispensed with.
  • a guide element is arranged on the connecting rod, which is, for example, block-shaped and is fixed to the sliding sash, for example by screwing or other fastening means.
  • the guide element can be used to limit the bending of the connecting rod.
  • the fixing part is thus held longitudinally on the guide element.
  • the fixing part can thus be arranged immovably on the connecting rod via the guide element.
  • the guide element can be encompassed longitudinally by wall sections of the fixing part.
  • the fixing part can also be led through a channel in the guide element and/or fixed to the guide element via other connecting means or fixed only to the connecting rod at a distance from the guide element.
  • the fixing part has at least two spaced-apart wall sections on its top side, preferably four spaced-apart web-shaped wall sections, with a channel for receiving the connecting rod being formed between each two wall sections.
  • a sliding door is also provided with a sliding leaf, which is mounted on a guide rail so that it can move using a sliding door fitting according to the invention.
  • a frame profile of the sliding leaf preferably has a groove that is open at the bottom, into which a connecting rod and at least part of the fixing element are inserted.
  • the fixing element can then be moved together with the sliding door in the raised position of the sliding leaf, with the fixing element being positively locked in the lowered position. or is arranged force-fittingly between the frame profile and the guide rail.
  • a sliding door fitting 1 comprises a first carriage 2, on which a lifting or lowering support part 3 is provided, and a second carriage 12, on which a lifting and lowering support part 13 is also provided.
  • Each carriage 2 and 12 comprises a lifting device for lifting and lowering the support part 3 or 13, wherein the lifting device can be designed as shown in the EP 3 064 683 B1 described.
  • the carriage 2 is connected via a corner deflection 4 to a drive rod 5, which can be moved via a gear 6, in particular via a rotating lever.
  • Each carriage 2 or 12 comprises several rotating rollers 7, which can be moved along a guide rail to move a sliding sash supported on the support parts 3 and 13.
  • a connecting rod 8 is arranged between the two carriages 2 and 12, which connects the two Carriages 2 and 12 are kept at a predetermined distance.
  • a guide element 9 and a fixing part 20 are mounted on the connecting rod 8.
  • the sliding door fitting 1 is shown in a mounted position on a sliding leaf 10.
  • the sliding leaf 10 comprises a lower frame profile 11 with a downwardly open groove 14 in which the connecting rod 8 is arranged.
  • the fixing part 20 is held on the connecting rod 8 and is arranged above a guide rail 17.
  • the guide rail 17 has an upwardly projecting web with a track on which the rollers 7 can be moved.
  • the guide rail 17 is fixed to a floor threshold 16 on which frame profiles for guiding the sliding leaf 10 are fixed.
  • the fixing part 20 has a groove that is open downwards and surrounds the web of the guide rail 17 that projects upwards.
  • the fixing part 20 is prevented from being lifted by lateral projections 28 on the fixing part 20, since the projections 28 are held essentially in a form-fitting manner between an underside of the frame profile 11 and an upper side of the guide rail 17 or the floor sill 16, so that the fixing part 20 is prevented from being lifted in the event of a horizontal load perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 17.
  • the fixing part 20 can also be pressed down in the lowered position or secured against lifting by the bottom of the downwardly open groove.
  • FIG 3 the sliding sash 10 is shown in a raised position.
  • the sealing strips 15 are raised from the top of the threshold 16, and the sliding sash 10 can be moved along the guide rail 17 via the carriages 2 and 12.
  • the fixing part 20 on the connecting rod 8 either rests on the guide rail 17 or is arranged with a small amount of play and is moved along the guide rail 17 when the sliding sash 10 is moved. Since there are no longer any weight forces acting on the fixing part 20, the fixing part 20 can be moved easily, with a small amount of play preferably being present between an underside of the fixing part 20 and the guide rail 17.
  • FIG 4 the assembly of the sliding door fitting 1 is shown with regard to the fixing part 20.
  • the fixing part 20 is placed on the connecting rod 8.
  • the fixing part 20 can grip around the guide element 9 in order to be mounted immovably on the connecting rod 8 in the longitudinal direction.
  • the fixing part 20 can also be mounted at a different position on the connecting rod 8 and held on the connecting rod 8, for example, by clamping or locking.
  • the fixing part 20 comprises two pairs of wall sections 21, which are connected to one another via a base section 22 and therefore form a channel or a groove in which the connecting rod 8 is held in the assembled position.
  • the connecting rod 8 can be inserted between the wall sections 21, and the locking webs 23 overlap the connecting rod 8.
  • the two pairs of wall sections 21 are connected to one another via a central part 25, on which the guide element 9 rests in the assembled position.
  • the fixing part 20 has a groove on the underside that is open at the bottom and is continuous, but can also be formed by individual sections.
  • the groove 26 forms a holding means to grip around the upwardly projecting web of the guide rail 17 and thus to secure the fixing part 20 and thus the frame profile 11 in the lowered position against a horizontal movement perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 17.
  • the fixing part 20 also has laterally protruding projections 27, which are arranged between a bottom side of the frame profile 11 and the guide rail 17 or the floor sill 16 and prevent the fixing part 20 from being lifted. Laterally protruding projections 27 are also formed in the area of the middle part 25, but they have a slightly lower height and are arranged in the area of the guide element 9.
  • the number of lateral projections 27 and 28 can be varied, preferably on each Several projections 27 or 28 are provided on the side in order to reliably prevent the fixing part 20 from being lifted. Instead of individual projections 27 and 28, a continuous strip can also be provided as a projection.
  • the fixing part 20 is preferably made of plastic, but can also be made of metal or a composite material.
  • the fixing part 20 has a groove 26 that is open downwards.
  • a downwardly projecting web or projection can also be formed instead of the groove 26 in order to ensure lateral securing by the fixing part 20.
