Abstract

L'invention concerne un arrangement de protection contre la neige pour une zone d'attelage d'un véhicule ferroviaire. Le véhicule ferroviaire possède, au niveau d'un côté frontal, une échancrure à protéger de la neige dans laquelle est disposé au moins partiellement un attelage du véhicule ferroviaire. Une enceinte fixe entoure au moins partiellement l'échancrure. L'enceinte comporte une ouverture dans le sens de la marche du véhicule ferroviaire, de laquelle l'attelage fait partiellement saillie dans une position angulaire prédéterminée afin de rendre possible une opération d'attelage avec un autre véhicule ferroviaire. L'ouverture de l'enceinte fixe est reliée à demeure à un premier élément d'étanchéité sur toute sa périphérie. Un deuxième élément d'étanchéité est relié à l'attelage de manière à pouvoir tourner et le deuxième élément d'étanchéité entoure au moins partiellement l'attelage. Les deux éléments d'étanchéité se chevauchent au moins partiellement dans la zone de l'ouverture à différentes positions angulaires de l'attelage. Les deux éléments d'étanchéité sont accouplés l'un à l'autre par pression afin de protéger l'ouverture contre une pénétration de la neige.
