Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a window or door sash which has a sash frame formed from sections of a hollow chamber profile, which has a rebate area and a hollow reinforcing chamber; a reinforcing element accommodated in the reinforcing hollow chamber; an attachment shell connected to the sash frame; and a surface element accommodated in the rebate area, which is preferably designed as insulating glazing; includes.
  • the present invention relates to a window or a door which comprises a frame or a frame as well as a window or door sash according to the invention which is accommodated in the frame or in the frame.
  • Such window or door sashes with an attachment shell, in particular with metallic attachment shells are from the prior art, for example from EP 2 549 045 A1 , known. Disadvantageous to that in the EP 2 549 045 A1 From the window or door sash described, it can be seen that the facing shell is only non-positively connected to the hollow chamber profile. As a result, the facing shell improves the weather resistance of the window or door sash described therein.
  • metallic facing shells in particular heat up significantly, so that the hollow chamber profiles underneath are exposed to high thermal stress. The high temperatures generated thereby release the tensions frozen in the hollow chamber profile during the extrusion process.
  • the present invention comes in, which is based on the object of providing a window or door sash with a sash frame formed from sections of a hollow chamber profile and an attachment shell connected to the sash frame, which at least partially overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art overcomes.
  • the usability of the window or door sash according to the invention should be guaranteed even in strong sunlight.
  • the insulating glazing should be held in the window or door sash according to the invention without gluing can be adjusted without the sash frame being twisted.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a window or a door which comprises a frame or a frame as well as such a window or door sash accommodated in the frame or in the frame.
  • the deflection of the hollow chamber profile due to shrinkage, wind load and/or glass weight can be reduced by giving the facing shell a statically supporting character.
  • this is accomplished by arranging a connecting element in the rebate area, through which the facing shell is statically effectively connected to the reinforcing element in the hollow chamber profile.
  • the second degree area moment of inertia of the hollow chamber profile is increased, so that its deflection due to thermal stresses, wind load and/or glass weight is significantly reduced.
  • twisting of the hollow chamber profile due to the weight of the glass is also effectively prevented, even with surface elements or insulating glazing close to the weather side. Bonding is therefore no longer necessary, even for surface elements or insulating glazing close to the weather side.
  • the present invention lies in the provision of a window or door sash which has a sash frame formed from sections of a hollow chamber profile, which has a rebate area and a reinforcing hollow chamber; a reinforcing element accommodated in the reinforcing hollow chamber; an attachment shell connected to the sash frame; and a surface element accommodated in the rebate area, which is preferably designed as insulating glazing; comprises, wherein the window or door sash is characterized according to the invention, and comprises a connecting element arranged in the rebate area and connected to the reinforcing element, which is connected to the facing shell.
