Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a kit capable of pressurizing a fluid from a reservoir of a cup of a spray gun.
  • the present invention further relates to a method of using the spray gun kit and a gun comprising such a kit.
  • the supply of the product in a cup gun is usually done by suction or by gravity, in particular by the venturi effect /
  • the cup can be pressurized
  • a compressed air compressor is used to pressurize the fluid.
  • the characteristics of the compressed air compressor are chosen according to the flow rate and the pressure planned for the spray gun, to allow an optimal adaptation of the gun according to the fluid to be applied.
  • An additional pipe is thus provided between the body of the gun and the cup to put the cup under pressure.
  • a hole is provided in the body of the gun to allow connection of the additional hose.
  • WO 2016/180863 A1 discloses a safety and regulating device for a pressure vessel for application devices for liquid media.
  • An object of the invention is therefore to provide a kit for a spray gun capable of pressurizing a fluid from a reservoir of a bucket of a spray gun, which is simple and practical to use.
  • Such a kit also makes it possible to adapt a spray gun for use under pressure without requiring drilling on the body of the gun.
  • the connector then makes it possible to recover the pressure, at least partially, of a fluid at a location of the spray gun in order to pressurize the fluid included in the reservoir of a cup.
  • the invention also relates to a spray gun comprising a main body, a cup and a spray gun kit as described above, in which the jacket is connected to an open chamber of the main body, so that the open chamber and the internal volume of the liner together define a single volume, the cup defining a reservoir, the connection end being connected to the cup, the internal volume of the liner being fluidically connected to the tank of the cup by the connection.
  • a spray gun 10 according to a first embodiment is shown in the figure 1 and 2 .
  • the spray gun 10 is intended for spraying a fluid product.

  • the fluid product 14 is, for example, placed under a pressure of between 0 and 6 bar.
  • the ring 68 is also here free to rotate around the main axis of extension of the sleeve 64 at least over a given angular interval.

  • the given angular interval is equal to 360°.
  • the ring 68 is here free to rotate between a right position and a left position.

  • the or each given position corresponds to a given angular position of the ring around the main axis.
  • the at least one given position comprises the right position and the left position.
  • the indexing elements of the ring are, for example, flats, the complementary indexing element of the main body 12 being a flat arranged to cooperate with a first of the flats of the ring in the straight position and with a second of the flats of the ring in the left position.
  • the indexing elements of the ring are retractable fingers, the complementary indexing element of the main body 12 being a hole provided to cooperate with a first of the fingers in the right position and with a second of the fingers in the left position.
  • the indexing elements of the ring are holes, the complementary indexing element of the main body 12 being a finger retractable designed to be inserted into a first of the holes in the right position and into a second of the holes in the left position.
  • the recess is dug in the ring 68, more particularly in an inner circumferential surface of the ring 68 extending opposite the outer circumferential surface 72 of the sleeve 64.
  • the orifice 76 then fluidically connects the outer circumferential surface 72 of the sleeve 64 facing the recess dug in the ring 68 and the recess 75 of the inner circumferential surface 74 of the sleeve 64.
  • the recess is dug both in the sleeve 64 and in the ring 68, more particularly in the outer circumferential surface 72 of the sleeve 64 and an inner circumferential surface of the ring 68 s' extending opposite the outer circumferential surface 72 of the liner 64.
  • the regulator is mounted in line between the kit 16 without regulator, for example as represented on the figure 4 , and the cup 14.
