Definitions

  • the invention relates to an elevator system with a protective screen that shields a counterweight.
  • Elevator systems usually include an elevator shaft, an elevator car and a counterweight.
  • the elevator shaft has a shaft head at its upper end and a shaft pit at its lower end.
  • the elevator car and the counterweight are arranged inside the elevator shaft, the counterweight usually being arranged on a shaft wall of the elevator shaft and the elevator car and the counterweight being movable in opposite directions to one another. This means that the counterweight is lowered into the shaft pit along its travel path when the elevator car is moved to an uppermost position within the elevator shaft and vice versa.
  • a lowering of the elevator car or the counterweight can endanger the safety of a service technician located in the shaft pit.
  • a protective screen In order to protect the service technician from the falling counterweight, a protective screen is usually installed, which blocks access to the counterweight travel path.
  • WO 03 08 2722 shows such a protective screen, which is arranged adjacent to the travel path of the counterweight in such a way that a person cannot under any circumstances be injured by the counterweight being moved in the shaft pit.
  • This protective screen has large dimensions and is correspondingly expensive.
  • CN 207 061 584 U and JP 2013 095571 A disclose elevator systems according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • an elevator system with a counterweight that can be moved in an elevator shaft, which counterweight can be provided for weight compensation of an elevator car that can be moved in the opposite direction of the counterweight, and a protective screen that is or can be arranged in a shaft pit of the elevator shaft and has a height section, the height section essentially is aligned parallel to a travel path of the counterweight, with the protective screen for to prevent a person in the shaft pit from entering the travel path of the counterweight, characterized in that the protective screen has a horizontally arranged bend, with an angled section of the protective screen adjoining the bend extending into the projection of the counterweight that is available in the direction of travel.
  • the invention is based on the finding that the largest possible space, which can be occupied by the counterweight along its travel path, has its lowest limit several meters above the bottom of the shaft.
  • this space which is dimensioned as large as possible, therefore also encloses that position of the counterweight which position can be occupied by the counterweight in its lowest position adjacent to at least one buffer device that is maximally compressed.
  • the bottom of the shaft forms the lower boundary of the shaft pit or elevator shaft.
  • the counterweight is not present at any point in time behind an essential lowermost section of the height section, which may be at its lowermost end only a few centimeters from the bottom of the shaft. This means that this lowermost section only prevents a person from entering a space that cannot be directly occupied by the counterweight.
  • the angled section of the protective screen is preferably arranged directly below this said largest possible space.
  • the bend can alternatively be formed with an acute angle or an obtuse angle.
  • the travel of the counterweight is defined in the present description by the entire space that the counterweight can occupy during normal operation of the elevator system plus the space that the counterweight in a fully compressed buffer device occupies when contacting this buffer device.
  • a further development of the elevator installation includes a buffer device arranged or arrangable in the shaft pit to limit the travel path of the counterweight in an emergency situation, the angled section of the protective screen having at least one cutout through which cutout the buffer device protrudes.
  • Such a buffer device is usually arranged standing in the shaft pit in the projection of the counterweight available in the travel direction. This means that the buffer device, which is not maximally compressed, extends from the bottom of the shaft to within the largest possible space that can be occupied by the counterweight along its travel path.
  • the cutout of the angled section of the protective screen enables the use or operation of such a buffer device, which is arranged standing on the shaft floor, for example.
  • the buffer device can be attached to a framework within the pit or to the guide rails.
  • a height section of the protective screen arranged parallel to the travel path of the counterweight has a maintenance cutout, preferably closable with a cover, for inspection and/or maintenance of the buffer device.
  • Such a maintenance cutout or window cutout enables inspection of the components of the elevator system arranged behind the protective screen and maintenance thereof. If necessary, maintenance of other elements of the elevator system, in particular the buffer device or a lower cable device that may be present, is also made possible.
  • the angled portion of the protective screen is a fold or bend.
  • the advantage of such a fold or bend is that the protective screen can be manufactured in a simple manner and is therefore inexpensive.
  • the external dimensions of the angled section of the protective screen cover at least 50% of the area projected by the counterweight in the direction of travel. It is advantageous that a person in the shaft pit cannot get into the travel path of the counterweight by reaching behind the angled section of the protective screen.
  • the travel path of the counterweight is arranged on a shaft wall of the elevator shaft, and the angled section extends up to the shaft wall. Accordingly, increased safety can be achieved for service technicians who carry out maintenance work in the shaft pit.
  • the angled section is preferably spaced at a distance of less than 10 cm or less than 5 cm from the shaft wall. Accordingly, the angled section can be designed to touch the shaft wall.
  • a height section of the protective screen arranged parallel to the travel path of the counterweight extends up to a height of at least 2 m, preferably 2.5 m, above a shaft floor of the shaft pit. In this way it can be ensured that a person in the elevator shaft or in the shaft pit cannot reach or reach beyond the protective screen into the travel path of the counterweight.
  • FIG 1 shows an elevator system 1 with an elevator shaft 2, an elevator car 18 and a counterweight 10.
  • the elevator shaft 2 comprises a shaft head 8 at its upper end and a shaft pit 4 at its lower end and is usually delimited laterally by at least one shaft wall 5.
  • the elevator shaft 2 is delimited by the shaft floor 6.
  • the elevator car 18 is arranged in the elevator shaft 2 such that it can be moved along a main alignment of the elevator shaft 2 .
  • the counterweight 10 can be moved in the opposite direction to the elevator car 18 and is arranged, for example, on the shaft wall 5 .
  • a buffer device 11 can be arranged in the shaft pit 4 below the counterweight 10, so that the travel path of the counterweight 10 is limited in an emergency situation.
  • a protective screen 20 is arranged in the shaft pit 4 in such a way that the travel path of the counterweight 10 is separated from the region of the shaft pit 4 which can be entered by a service technician.
  • the conventional protective screen 20 shown essentially consists of a height section 26 aligned parallel to the travel path of the counterweight 10.
  • the elevator car 18 and the counterweight 10 can be connected by means of a support element 12 .
  • the support element 12 is guided over rollers 14,16.
  • One of these rollers 14, 16 can be designed as a traction sheave coupled to a drive motor for driving the elevator car 18 or the counterweight 10.
  • the elevator car 18 shown is arranged on a top shaft door 19 of the elevator system 1 shown as an example.
  • the counterweight 10 is located in a position arranged in the shaft pit 4 in accordance with the stated ability to move in the opposite direction, with the buffer device 11 being unactuated by the counterweight 10 .
  • the counterweight 10 is preferably spaced apart from the buffer device 11 in the position shown.
  • the figure 2 shows a detail of a shaft pit 4 of a first elevator shaft 2 with a protective screen 20 according to a first embodiment, wherein in figure 3 the side view of the in figure 2 shown elements of the elevator system is shown.
  • FIG. 4 shows a section of a shaft pit 4 of a second elevator shaft 2 with a protective screen 20 according to a second embodiment, with figure 5 the corresponding plan view according to in figure 4 shown section BB is shown.
  • the shaft pits 4 of both according to Figures 2 to 5 Elevator shafts 2 shown are delimited at the bottom by a shaft floor 6 and laterally by a shaft wall 5 .
  • at least one buffer device 11, 11.1, 11.2 is arranged standing on the bottom 6 of the shaft.
  • the buffer device 11, 11.1, 11.2 shown as an example has a base 13, 13.1, 13.2 and a receiving stamp 15.
  • the lower section of the base 13, 13.1, 13.2, which section has a rectangular cross section, can be made of concrete.
  • the receiving stamp 15 is provided for contacting by the counterweight 10 in an emergency situation shown.
