Definitions

  • the invention relates to a coupling device for the detachable connection of a furniture pull-out, which is movably guided in a furniture carcass via a guide unit, to a runner of the guide unit, to a coupling unit having a base body and to a locking device belonging to the coupling device, which has a locking element arranged on the coupling unit and a locking element on the runner arranged counter-locking element, wherein the locking element and the counter-locking element can be brought into locking engagement when plugged on in a plug-on direction with resilient deflection of one of these two elements in a locking direction oriented transversely to the plug-on direction, and wherein the locking device has an unlocking element for releasing the locking element Having movement of the locking element in a release direction.
  • Coupling devices for the detachable connection of a furniture pull-out that is movably guided in a furniture body via a guide unit have long been known, for example from EP2012619A2 , EP3491967A1 or WO2012/079986A1 .
  • snap-in couplings in order to be able to detachably attach the drawer to the running rail of the guide unit, in this case the drawer rail.
  • Such locking couplings known from the prior art are characterized both by simple assembly and by simple handling.
  • Fastening to the associated running rail is advantageously carried out by plugging the latching coupling onto the associated running rail, with a locking element on the latching coupling and a counter-locking element on the running rail lockingly engaging one another, in particular snapping into one another.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a coupling device of the type mentioned at the outset, which is easier to handle than conventional coupling devices, and in particular whose locking is easier to release than conventional coupling devices.
  • the coupling device according to the invention is characterized in that the release direction is oriented transversely to the push-on direction and transversely to the locking direction.
  • the release direction of the locking element is therefore not in the same plane as the locking direction. Furthermore, it is also not in the same plane as the plug-on direction. It is therefore possible for the release direction, attachment direction and locking direction to form a Cartesian coordinate system with the vectors x, y and z. The fact that the release direction is in a different plane than the locking direction avoids the previously described problem of the locking element and counter-locking element jamming when the unlocking element is actuated.
  • the locking element has a rack-like locking toothing with a plurality of first teeth arranged one behind the other in the plug-on direction and equipped with longitudinal axes aligned parallel to one another
  • the counter-locking element has a toothed rack-like counter-locking tooth system with a plurality of second teeth arranged one behind the other in the plug-on direction and equipped with longitudinal axes aligned parallel to one another on, wherein the toothings can be brought into toothing engagement with one another in the locking direction, and wherein the release direction is directed in the same way as the longitudinal axes of the teeth.
  • the base body of the clutch unit has an underside which is provided with an assembly interface is equipped for mounting on the furniture pull-out and has an upper side facing the running rail when in use, with a vertical axis of the base body running between the lower side and the upper side.
  • the longitudinal axis of the first and second teeth of the toothing can be aligned with the vertical axis of the base body.
  • the longitudinal axis of the first and second teeth of the toothing is aligned transversely, in particular at right angles, to the vertical axis.
  • the unlocking element can be moved in a direction of movement which is oriented transversely, in particular at right angles, to the vertical axis of the base body.
  • the unlocking element it is possible for the unlocking element to be movable in a direction of movement that is oriented in the same direction as the vertical axis of the base body.
  • the unlocking element is moved in the release direction against the spring force of a return spring.
  • a return spring is not absolutely necessary, since it is only important that the locking direction, which is aligned transversely to the release direction, is supported by spring force, so that the locking engagement remains under spring tension.
  • the unlocking element is designed as an unlocking lever mounted on the base body so that it can pivot about a pivot axis.
  • the coupling device comprises a running rail with a counter-locking element arranged thereon.
  • the invention also includes a piece of furniture with a furniture pull-out that can be moved relative to a furniture body and is guided via a guide unit having a running rail, which is characterized by a coupling device according to one of claims 1 to 10.

  • the two tooth flanks 59a, 59b meet in a tooth tip which, as mentioned, also runs transversely to the attachment direction 39 with its longitudinal axis, but also transversely to the height direction of the slide rail 15.
  • the first and second tooth flanks 59a, 59b in cross section form a tooth 47 with a sawtooth shape in the form of a right-angled triangle.
  • the coupling devices 11 are first mounted in the manner described above in the area of the bottom of the furniture extension 14 in the area of the two opposite side walls of the furniture extension 14 . Thereafter, the pre-assembled assembly of furniture pull-out 14 and coupling devices 11 is mounted on the rails 15. Only the assembly of one of the coupling devices 11 on the associated running rail 15 is explained below.
  • the coupling device 11 is brought into the region of the front end 34 of the running rail 15 with its web-like fixing section 33 and the fastening pin 57 protruding there.
  • the fastening pin 57 moves through the opening 56 of the fastening section 55 of the counter-locking element 38 and, at the same time, the first teeth 44 of the locking toothing 43 pointing upwards come into contact with the second teeth 47 of the counter-locking toothing 46 pointing downwards, whereby the material of the locking element 37 and the counter-locking element 38, in particular plastic material, allows a displacement of the counter-locking element 38 or locking element 37 in the vertical direction, so that the first and second teeth 44, 47 engage in one another, in particular can snap into one another, as a result of which the locking engagement occurs .
  • the fastening pin 57 on the web-like fixing section 33 of the base body 25 can be inserted more or less far beyond the opening 56 into the open front end 34 of the running rail 15, whereby a displacement or change in position of the coupling device 11 and thus the furniture pull-out 14 in relation to the running rail 15 in the mounting direction 39 is possible.
  • the above-mentioned attachment thus takes place in the attachment direction 39, which is aligned along the longitudinal axis 35 of the running rail 15, while the locking, i.e. the locking engagement of the first and second teeth 44, 47, takes place transversely to the attachment direction 39 in the locking direction 40.
  • the locking direction 40 runs in the vertical direction of the running rail or the base body 25 of the coupling unit 24.
  • the actuating section 52 of the unlocking lever is actuated by finger pressure. Finger pressure causes the unlocking lever to pivot. It is important here that the release direction 42 lies in a different plane than the locking direction 40 . In this case, the release direction 42 is not aligned opposite to the locking direction 40, but lies in another plane offset by 90° to the locking direction 40. In the example shown, the release direction 42 is oriented in the same direction as the longitudinal axes of the teeth 44, 47. In the example shown, the release direction 42 is also transverse to the attachment direction 39 but also transverse to the locking direction 40. The unlocking lever therefore makes a movement in the plane of the base body, i.e. it is moved away from the running rail, so that the first teeth 44 on the locking teeth 43 are out of the second teeth 47 of the counter-locking toothing 46 shear out.
  • the figures 7 and 8th show a second embodiment of the coupling device 11 according to the invention.
  • the coupling unit 24 is identical to the coupling unit 24 of the first Embodiment formed, with the exception of the orientation of the first teeth 44.
  • the counter-locking element 38 shown is designed in an identical manner to the counter-locking element of the first exemplary embodiment, with the exception of the orientation of the second teeth 47.
  • the first teeth 44 on the base body 49 of the locking toothing 43 do not protrude upwards, but rather extend in the plane of the coupling unit base body 25, ie are from the base body 49 of the locking toothing 43 outwards.
  • the second teeth 47 are aligned in such a way that their longitudinal axes 48 run in the vertical direction of the running rail.
  • the second teeth 47 are formed from the associated base body 58 in such a way that they protrude laterally from the base body.
  • the fastening of the coupling device 11 to the associated running rail 15 is initially carried out in an identical manner to the first exemplary embodiment.
  • the attachment direction 39 again runs along the longitudinal axis of the running rail 15.
  • the locking direction 40 is aligned transversely to the attachment direction 39, but in contrast to the first exemplary embodiment described above does not run in the vertical direction but in the plane of the base body 25 of the coupling unit 24.
  • the actuating section 52 of the unlocking lever applied by finger pressure.
  • the unlocking lever is not pivoted in the plane of the base body 25 of the coupling unit, but is moved downwards, i.e. in the vertical direction of the running rail 15.
  • the release direction 42 therefore runs transversely to the attachment direction 39 and also transversely to the locking direction 40 and in in this case in the vertical direction of the running rail 15.
