Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an arrangement consisting of a whirlpool casing and a free-standing outdoor whirlpool, a method for producing the arrangement and a method for revising or repairing an outdoor whirlpool of the arrangement produced by means of the method.
  • Whirlpools also called jacuzzi, hot tub or hot tub, are tubs filled with water, which contain one or more nozzles (jets) and outlets (ports) for the water. Air can be mixed with the water that is pressed into the tubs, whereby the water jet causes a gentle, flat massage of the people in the water, which is perceived as a pleasant bubble bath. Water jets without the addition of air lead to a selective, powerful massage. Such whirlpools are enjoying increasing popularity both indoors and outdoors.
  • Outdoor whirlpools are located outside of buildings and are therefore exposed to the weather with alternating rain, snow, sun, cold and heat. It is therefore important that the whirlpool technology in particular is well protected from these influences in order to prevent premature aging.
  • Indoor whirlpools i.e. whirlpools in the interior of buildings, for example in bathrooms or swimming pools, are not exposed to the weather. Indoor whirlpools are also typically attached to the ground and/or to at least one wall. Therefore, the whirlpool outer shell and, if necessary, a whirlpool cladding can be constructed much less complex than those for outdoor whirlpools. For example, panels for indoor whirlpools can be created by attaching them to a side wall and/or to the floor. However, outdoor whirlpools are often free-standing and are usually set up on the ground without being fixed to the ground. As a result, indoor whirlpool covers do not have the same high requirements as outdoor whirlpool covers. Therefore, indoor hot tub covers are not the same as outdoor hot tub covers.
  • Today's outdoor hot tub panels are typically made of wood or plastic. Both materials are subject to aging processes and must be serviced or even renewed periodically. It is also often time-consuming to remove part of the cladding and put it back in after the inspection.
  • the cladding elements (5) of the whirlpool cladding (1) can be removed quickly and easily at any point for revision or repair of the whirlpool technology and then the same cladding elements (5) can be used again at the same place, without assembly/disassembly of fixings.
  • This allows extremely simple, reversible and non-destructive access to the whirlpool technology, which is a great advantage.
  • a reversibly lockable access to the whirlpool technology is obtained, which does not have any weak points.
  • the frame (3) with the cladding elements (5) is replaced by the outdoor whirlpool (2) independent dead weight with high stability.
  • the whirlpool casing (1) includes an adjustable fixation (4), this is attached to the whirlpool (2), in particular to the whirlpool outer shell (2.3), so that when the whirlpool (2) moves, there is pressure on the whirlpool (2) and/or on the fixation (4), and the whirlpool (2) is thereby fixed in addition to its own weight.
  • the whirlpool (2) is thus given additional stabilization by the whirlpool casing (1) and, if necessary, a staircase attached to it.
  • the US-B-6,243,889 discloses an insulation system for use in a sanitary appliance having a rigid shell mounted within a rigid pedestal structure which peripherally surrounds the sanitary appliance and rests on the floor, the insulation system comprising: a first insulation membrane designed to peripherally surround the plumbing fixture shell and being installed at a distance therefrom within the pedestal structure to form a first closed air pocket between the plumbing fixture shell and the first insulating membrane; and a second isolating membrane designed to be peripherally around and spaced from the first isolating membrane within the to be installed pedestal structure to form a second closed air pocket between the first and second insulating membranes; wherein the first and second air pockets and the first and second insulating membranes provide improved thermal and acoustic insulation for the sanitary appliance.
  • a large number of cladding elements are not mentioned, with at least one lateral cladding element being able to be attached to the frame and removed again reversibly and without the assembly/disassembly of fixing means.
  • the US-A-2004/0078884 describes a frame for supporting a curvilinear hot tub shell, comprising curvilinear upper and lower rails, and at least one box section disposed between the upper rail and the lower rail, the box section being substantially within the limits of the outer diameter of the upper rail wherein the box section is suitable for supporting the loads associated with the curved spa tub shell.
  • a whirlpool paneling within the meaning of the invention is not mentioned.
  • the EP-A-1 043 456 discloses an installation for bathing people, the installation having a basin and a support structure.
  • the basin includes equipment for circulating the basin water and a buffer tank.
  • the basin consists of a wall with two sides and has a flange, the surface of which forms a water overflow.
  • the basin also includes a gutter arranged to collect the overflowing water and a buffer tank connected at least indirectly to the gutter.
  • a whirlpool casing which surrounds the installation and thus the pool, is not mentioned.
  • the WO-A-2005/060915 describes a modular spa comprising a spa shell having at least one support member integrated therewith, and a Support frame that supports the spa envelope on the support members.
  • the support frame consists of a number of elongated polymeric support struts attached to the support members.
  • the spa bowl is typically formed from a composite acrylic/ABS sheet and has a substantially upright sidewall and a rim extending outwardly from the sidewall. There is no mention of a whirlpool enclosure surrounding the claimed spa.
  • the WO-A-2007/088434 discloses a swimming pool having a liner for containing a liquid and means for supporting the pool distributed peripherally.
  • the pool includes an outer shell with appropriate support means that can be connected to the pool support means.
  • the outer shell with the peripherally distributed funds and the support means, and the pool support means are for the stability of the liner, and thus for the Stability of the whole pool, essential.
  • the support means also have an inclined, curved shape, as a result of which the lining acquires a spatial depth.
  • the side paneling elements are attached to the laterally arranged supports in such a way that the supports form an integral part of the side paneling and are clearly visible from the outside.
  • the upper cladding elements are screwed to the structure using fasteners. There is no mention of a whirlpool or a whirlpool enclosure surrounding a whirlpool or the claimed swimming pool.
  • the EP-A-1 586 724 claims an enclosure for collapsible swimming pools.
  • the edging is preferably made of wood and is intended to improve the aesthetic appearance of collapsible swimming pools so that they have a more pleasing appearance and can be better integrated into the garden or other place of use.
  • the enclosure consists primarily of lateral vertical panels with laterally attached frame members, reinforcement members attached to the top of each panel for attachment of other members, and tie bars to reinforce the joint area between adjacent sections of the top cover. The border is created by screwing together with wood screws. In order to detach vertical panels from the frame, a large number of screws and other elements must be loosened and removed, which is correspondingly complex.
  • the arrangement according to the invention consists of a whirlpool casing (1) and a free-standing outdoor whirlpool (2), ie one that is not integrated into a building or a facility.
  • the freestanding outdoor hot tub (2) stands on its own and does not require any additional support from the whirlpool paneling (1).
  • the whirlpool casing (1) can be adjacent to the outdoor whirlpool (2) or the casing (1) can be separated from the whirlpool (2) by a gap and is therefore different from the whirlpool outer shell (2.3).
  • the whirlpool (2) can be adjacent to one wall or in a corner to two walls.
  • the outdoor whirlpool (2) is usually a commercially available whirlpool and is often retrofitted, i.e. after the construction of a building - for example a detached house - on the building or next to the building.
  • the outdoor whirlpool (2) includes a whirlpool tub (2.1), whirlpool technology (2.2) and a whirlpool outer shell (2.3).
  • the whirlpool casing (1) of the arrangement according to the invention differs from the whirlpool outer shell (2.3) of the outdoor whirlpool (2) and is particularly suitable for cladding the outdoor whirlpool (2).
  • the outdoor whirlpool (2) has a protective cover (1) in addition to the whirlpool outer shell (2), which, in addition to its protective function, also provides easy-to-manufacture, non-destructive and reversible access, in particular to the whirlpool technology (2.2) and the whirlpool outer shell (2.3) of the outdoor whirlpool (2) allowed.
  • the whirlpool paneling (1) typically does not have a flat bottom, but rather encloses the whirlpool (2) preferably only at the side.
  • the whirlpool paneling (1) comprises a frame (3), optionally at least one adjustable fixation (4), and a large number of paneling elements (5).
  • the frame (3) is arranged around the outer shell (2.3) of the whirlpool (2) and thereby protects the whirlpool (2) from all sides. If a fixation (4) is used, it is attached to the frame (3) in such a way that the fixation (4) exerts pressure on the whirlpool (2) - and in particular on the whirlpool outer shell (2.3) of the whirlpool (2). can be, which not only stabilizes the whirlpool (2), but also the panel (1).
  • the frame (3) is based on horizontal beams (3.1, 3.2) and vertical corner supports (3.3) and thus typically does not include inwardly sloping and/or curved elements such as side posts.
  • the paneling can be designed to be extremely narrow, ie the width of one side of the paneling (1) can be only 5 cm to 10 cm, for example.
  • the frame (3) comprises a lower support (3.1) and an upper support (3.2) on each side of the frame, the lower support (3.1) and the upper support (3.2) being connected by means of a corner support (3.3) which is installed in the corner areas of the cladding ( 1) is arranged, are connected to each other.
  • corner area is understood to mean the outer 30%, i.e. those arranged towards the end of the length extension, in particular the outer 15%, of the horizontal beams (3.1, 3.2) touching in a corner, with the percentages referring to the entire length extension of the Carrier (3.1, 3.2) relates.
  • the cladding elements (5) are attached to the frame (3) and comprise lateral vertical (5.1) cladding elements (5) which are attached laterally to the frame in a typically vertical orientation, and upper horizontal (5.2) cladding elements (5) which are typically horizontal Alignment arranged outside of the upper lateral boundary of the whirlpool (2).
  • At least one - preferably all - lateral cladding element (5.1) is attached to the frame (3) reversibly and without assembly/disassembly of fixing means such as screws and can be removed again. It is particularly advantageous if at least one lateral cladding element (5.1) is arranged reversibly opposite the whirlpool mechanism (2.2), which greatly facilitates access to revise and/or repair the whirlpool mechanism (2.2).
  • the whirlpool casing (1) typically surrounds the whirlpool (2) laterally, the frame (3) preferably comprising at least one adjustable fixation (4), the fixation (4) being attached to the frame (3) in such a way that the Fixing (4) pressure can be exerted on the whirlpool (2), in particular on the whirlpool outer shell (2.3), with possibly only the at least one fixing (4) on the whirlpool (2), in particular non-destructively, i.e.
