Definitions
- the invention relates to a canopy with two longitudinal beams, which run parallel in particular, and two transverse beams running transversely to the longitudinal beams, with the longitudinal beams and the transverse beams forming a frame, with at least one of the longitudinal beams having a gutter for collecting and draining rainwater, with the gutter extending over at least a water drain opens into at least a first downpipe.
- Such canopies are from the FR 2 947 845 A1 and the DE 20 2018 000 966 U1 known.
- a disadvantage of the known canopies is that, as a result of particularly heavy rainfall, the water level in the gutter can rise and the water standing in the gutter can reach the space under the canopy when it climbs over the overflow edge from the gutter, so that the space is contaminated.
- the water level can rise if the water cannot be removed quickly enough from the gutter due to contamination and/or due to the component dimensions and/or due to the amount of water.
- the object of the invention is to avoid exceeding the water level over the rain gutter.
- the longitudinal beams and the transverse beams forming a frame, with at least one of the longitudinal beams having a gutter for collecting and draining rainwater, the gutter having at least one Water drain opens into at least a first downpipe, it is that the canopy has at least one emergency overflow located geodetically higher than the water drain, via which the rain gutter opens directly or indirectly into at least one second downpipe.
- the water is thus discharged via the emergency overflow at a geodetically higher water level in the rain gutter than at the water level at which the water is discharged via the water outlet.
- the effect of the emergency overflow thus begins at a higher water level, with water being able to be discharged at the same time both via the emergency overflow and via the water outlet at the higher water level.
- the cross section of the emergency overflow and the cross section of the water outlet can partially overlap at a geodetic height.
- the rainwater is drained from the water drain via a first downpipe.
- Rainwater is drained from the emergency overflow via a second downpipe.
- rainwater can be drained off via the emergency overflow, which opens into a second downpipe, in addition to being discharged via the water drain that opens into a first downpipe.
- At least one of the longitudinal beams has a lateral rain gutter. Furthermore, each of the longitudinal beams can each have a lateral rain gutter.
- a direct connection of the longitudinal members and cross members is possible with the frame according to the invention, but not necessary.
- An indirect connection by means of intermediate parts to form a frame-like structure is also possible.
- the roofing can be a patio roof which is mounted on one or more lintels and/or parts of the building.
- the canopy can also be mounted at one end on a building lintel or a building wall and supported at the other end by means of at least one, in particular a plurality of posts.
- the canopy can be free-standing.
- the frame of the canopy is supported by several posts.
- the roof can be what is known as a pergola awning, in which at least two guide rails are arranged are on which several crossbars with a front crossbar in the extension direction and at least one further crossbar are movably mounted and between two crossbars a flexible shading element is arranged in each case.
- the guide rails of such a pergola awning can be carried or taken up by two opposite longitudinal beams.
- the guide rails can be an integral part of the carrier.
- Each longitudinal beam can each have a lateral rain gutter.
- Such pergola awnings have a plurality of crossbars, which are arranged between lateral guide rails.
- the lateral guide rails thus define the extension direction.
- the transom arranged at the rear in the direction of extension is usually fixed to the guide rails, i.e. cannot be moved along the guide rails.
- a drive for example in the form of a belt, acts on the front crossbar in the extension direction.
- the belt is used to move the frontmost crossbar in the extension direction forwards in the extension direction or backwards in the opposite direction to the extension direction in the retraction direction.
- a circumferential belt with a lower chord and an upper chord in particular a toothed belt, can engage and/or be fastened to the foremost cross rung in the extension direction, by means of which at least the front cross rung can act as a tension profile in the extension direction forwards or in the retraction direction backwards along the Guide rails can be moved, the belt being guided via at least one drive roller and at least one deflection roller along a travel path.
- At least one further movable crossbar is arranged between the frontmost crossbar in the extension direction and the rear fixed crossbar.
- a flexible shading element is arranged in each case between two, in particular adjacent, crossbars and fastened to the two crossbars.
- the other crossbars can be freely running. If the foremost crossbar in the extension direction is extended in the extension direction, the individual shading elements arranged between the crossbars are gradually tensioned and the next further free-running crossbar is pulled in the extension direction by means of the tensioned shading element. Conversely, when the front crossbar is moved against the extension direction in the retraction direction, the flexible shading elements are relaxed so that they hang down freely between the crossbars. As soon as the frontmost cross rung runs against the further free-running cross rung during a process against the extension direction, this free-running cross rung is moved counter to the extension direction by means of the frontmost driven cross rung.
- this free-running transom is also shifted in the opposite direction to the extension direction, and so on, until the entire package of movable transoms has moved to the stop on the fixed transom, i.e. the last transom in the extension direction.
- the further crossbars can also be pulled directly or indirectly by the belt, so that the further crossbars are not freewheeling.
- the crossbars can be gradually extended without tensioning the shading elements between the crossbars. They can also be retracted without bumping into each other.
- the belt can act indirectly or directly, in particular by means of drivers and/or by means of a frictional connection and/or a non-positive connection and/or a positive connection and/or a material connection.
- the two ends of the circulating belt can be fastened to the foremost crossbar and/or it can be an endless belt which acts on the front crossbar and moves it in the extension and retraction directions.
- the flexible shading elements can be formed by transparent and/or partially transparent and/or opaque elements. Individual sections of shading elements can each be arranged between the crossbars or longer sections of shading elements can be arranged over several crossbars or a single shading element can be arranged over all crossbars. In this case, the shading element is preferably fastened to the crossbars in each case in order to ensure even extension and retraction.
- the crossbars of the pergola awning can be curved upwards and/or be designed in the shape of a pointed roof, so that the roof shape of the pergola awning is curved upwards. Due to this curvature, the rainwater that hits the pergola awning is drained on both sides in the direction of the guide rails.
- the roof can also be a slatted roof, in which several slats are each mounted on the longitudinal beams such that they can be pivoted and/or moved about an axis of rotation by means of a drive. Especially the slats can be inclined downwards relative to the horizontal in the direction of the rain gutter with respect to their longitudinal extension.
- each longitudinal member can each have a gutter, with the other two transverse members running transversely thereto having no gutters.
- the frame is supported by a plurality of posts.
- one or more posts can each have at least one downpipe.
- at least one post itself can be formed by the downpipe.
- the frame can be supported by a plurality of, in particular four, posts arranged at the corners of the frame.
- posts can also be provided between the posts arranged at the corners of the frame.
- Posts may also be indented, meaning that the posts may be positioned such that they are staggered along the longeron and/or crossmember rather than at the corners of the frame.
- the frame is supported by a plurality of posts, with the first drop tube being located in or on a first post and/or with the second drop tube being located in or on a second post.
- the posts can be designed as hollow profiles.
- the downpipes can be accommodated in the hollow profiles.
- the frame is preferably carried by a plurality of posts, the posts being formed by hollow profiles and at least a first post receiving the first downpipe in its hollow profile and at least a second post receiving the second downpipe in its hollow profile.
- the frame can be supported by a plurality of, in particular four, posts arranged at the corners of the frame.
- a post is arranged at each of the four corners of the rectangular frame.
- the emergency overflow opens into a channel within the cross member designed as a hollow profile.
- the channel can be inclined downwards relative to the horizontal, in particular in the direction of the second downpipe. This optimizes water drainage.
- the emergency overflow is preferably formed by an opening in the cross member and/or opens into an opening in the cross member.
- the crossbeam can have a water pipe that is inclined downwards relative to the horizontal in the direction of the second downpipe.
- the water can be routed from the emergency overflow in particular to at least one downpipe assigned to the cross member.
- the water line can be inclined downwards in the direction of one end of the cross member with respect to its longitudinal extent.
- this end of the cross member can be opposite the end of the cross member that faces the emergency overflow. This implements a long water path, so that a large volume of water can be located within the water pipe without overloading the drainage.
- a drain bend is preferably arranged, which, starting from the water drain of the rain gutter, opens into the first downpipe.
- the drain bend can run from the rain gutter to the first downpipe through the longitudinal member.
- the drain bend is guided from the rain gutter to the first downpipe via another component, namely the longitudinal beam, and runs through the hollow profile forming the longitudinal beam.
- the drain bend can be guided to the downpipe through a notch in the longitudinal member.
- the longitudinal support can have an insert lying in a notch of the longitudinal support, which insert can be removed in particular downwards and in which the drain bend is arranged.
- the longitudinal member can have an insert lying in a notch of the longitudinal member, which can be removed in particular downwards and in which the drain bend is arranged, the insert being accommodated in the longitudinal member so that it can be removed in a form-fitting and/or non-positive manner.
- the longitudinal member can have an insert that can be removed, in particular downwards, that is formed in one piece with the drain bend. With such a removable insert, which has the drain bend, the drain bend can be dismantled and cleaned. Any deposits such as leaves can then be removed in a way. In the event that the removable insert, which has the drain bend, can be removed downwards, the removal and insertion of the removable insert is very simplified for the user, since the area is directly accessible from below.
- the discharge bend can have a heating device, in particular an electrical resistance heater.
- a heating device ensures that the roofing is frost-proof and rainwater can be prevented from freezing in the drainage bend.
- the rain gutter can be formed by a gutter profile and the drain bend is in a recess in the gutter profile by means of a enclosed socket connected to the rain gutter.
- a bush lying in a recess in the channel profile facilitates and reliably seals the connection of the drain bend to the rain gutter.
- the first downpipe can have a connection piece with a socket, in particular a connection piece in the form of an angle, with the discharge bend opening into the socket of the connection piece of the first downpipe.
- a connecting piece with a socket with the drain bend opening into the socket of the connecting piece of the first downpipe, makes it easier to connect the drain bend to the downpipe and reliably seals it.
- the drain bend and/or a socket for connecting the drain bend to the gutter and/or a socket for connecting the drain bend to the downpipe and/or the gutter and/or the downpipe can have a particularly removable sieve. Impurities can be held back by means of such a sieve. If the screen is removable, it can easily be removed, cleaned and then reinserted.
- the rain gutter and/or the drain bend can have a viewing window.
- the current water level can be read from the outside through such a viewing window and any contamination and deposits are visible as a result. Such a visual inspection can then be used to determine whether cleaning of the discharge bend is necessary.
- a bend is preferably arranged, which, starting from the emergency overflow, opens into the second downpipe, in particular it being possible for the bend to run through the cross member or the longitudinal member.
- the emergency overflow is preferably associated with an end of the gutter which is opposite an end of the gutter which is associated with the water outlet.
- the emergency overflow is at that end of the rain gutter arranged, which corresponds to a water drain associated end of the rain gutter.
- the water drain and emergency overflow may be located at the same end of the gutter or at opposite ends of the gutter.
- a water drain and an emergency overflow can be arranged at both ends of the rain gutter.
- the longitudinal beams and/or the cross beams are fastened at the ends by means of a corner connector on the top of a post, with an arc being routed from the emergency overflow of the rain gutter through a recess in a corner connector into the second downpipe.
- a drain bend from the water drain of the rain gutter can also be guided through a recess in the corner connector or in a further corner connector into the first downpipe.
- One such corner connector can be arranged at each corner of the frame.
- the longitudinal beams and crossbeams run through the corner connector above the posts and between two posts.
- the rain gutter is preferably arranged laterally next to the longitudinal member so as to run parallel to the longitudinal member.
- the emergency overflow preferably has a sieve, which in particular can be removed. This can prevent blockages in the emergency overflow. Impurities are retained by the sieve. Deposits in the screen can be removed by removing and cleaning the screen.
- the figure 1 shows a perspective view of a canopy 10 according to the invention according to the first embodiment.
- the canopy 10 has two longitudinal members 2, 3 and two cross members 1, 4 which form a frame of the canopy 10.
- a plurality of crossbars Q can be moved along the longitudinal beams 2 and 3 in the extension direction 100 and counter to the extension direction 100, with a cloth being arranged between adjacent crossbars Q in each case.
- the crossbars Q are moved in the direction of extension 100, the fabrics between the crossbars Q are gradually stretched and form a covering of the space under the canopy 10.
- the crossbars Q are moved counter to the extension direction 100, the distance between the crossbars Q is reduced until they have formed into a pack so that most of the space under canopy 10 is open to the sky.
- the crossbars are designed in the shape of a roof, so that the rainwater that hits the cloth runs off laterally to the lateral rain gutters of the longitudinal beams 2 and 3 (not visible in this figure).
- the framework is from the in figure 1 according to visible posts 5, 6, 7 and another in perspective 1 not visible post 8 worn.
- the corner cover between the post 6 and the longitudinal member 3 and cross member 1 is removed so that the internal components are visible are shown.
- a drain bend 31 is visible, which is connected to the lateral rain gutter of the longitudinal member 3.
- a downpipe 61 is visible, which is arranged inside the post 6 .
- the rainwater When rainwater hits the canopy 10, the rainwater first runs off into the non-visible side gutter of the longitudinal beam 3, after which it runs through the drain bend 31 and is routed via the drain bend 31 into the downpipe 61 of the post 6.
- the drain bend 31 and the corner cover (not shown) are mounted in such a way that they can be removed, which makes it easier to remove the drain bend 31 and clean it. With such a construction, it is possible to discharge the rainwater laterally and according to the image plane figure 1 forward without running the risk of clogging the waterways.
- the figure 2 shows the section A - A of the longitudinal member 3 after 1 .
