Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cooking appliance with a housing in which a cooking space is formed.
  • the cooking appliance has a door for closing the cooking space.
  • the door is movably arranged on the housing.
  • a handle on the door is stationary and therefore immovable.
  • the cooking appliance has a storage space that is separate from the cooking space and is formed in the housing, into which the door can be retracted in its open state.
  • the storage space has at least one guide track in which a guide element of the door is guided.
  • a door for closing a cooking chamber is arranged recessed in such a storage space when it is open. This enables a space-saving concept that allows unrestricted and close access to the cooking chamber at the front.
  • a folding door which is only pivotally arranged on the housing, with such a retractable door it is possible to get very close to the cooking space when it is open. This simplifies handling for loading the cooking space or removing objects from the cooking space. This also minimizes bumping into an open door, so that unwanted heat effects on a user are avoided.
  • Such retractable doors for cooking appliances are known from the prior art.
  • such doors also have a handle that is movably arranged on the door itself. This is then done in such a way that when the door is pivoted and lowered into the storage space, the handle is also pivoted relative to a door leaf on which the handle is arranged.
  • the door handle is pivoted so that it can be gripped at the front.
  • In order to enable such additional pivoting of the handle are relative to form complex mechanical devices. This requires additional installation space and increases the weight of the door.
  • Such a configuration is, for example, from EP 2 093 492 A2 known.
  • this handle is arranged in a stationary and therefore immovable manner on the door leaf. This means that when the door and thus also the door leaf are pivoted, this handle is not pivoted itself.
  • Such a configuration is, for example, from DE 1 274 306 known.
  • a disadvantage of this design there is that the door is permanently installed and is virtually impossible to remove. This makes maintenance work and cleaning more difficult.
  • This task is solved by a cooking appliance which has the features according to claim 1.
  • a cooking appliance is provided with a housing in which a cooking space is formed.
  • the cooking appliance has a door for closing the cooking space.
  • This door is movably arranged on the housing.
  • a handle on the door is stationary and therefore immovable. This means in particular that when the door moves, the handle does not move relative to the door leaf on which the handle is arranged.
  • the cooking appliance has a storage space that is separate from the cooking space and is formed in the housing, into which the door can be retracted when open.
  • the storage space has at least one guide track in which a guide element of the door is guided.
  • the guide element is movably mounted on the door and connected directly to a first end of a retaining spring of the door.
  • This retaining spring maintains a coupling position of the guide element on the door.
  • this coupling position is held with the specific holding element, namely in particular the retaining spring.
  • the retaining spring in particular is a particularly advantageous component because, on the one hand, this coupling position is held securely, and on the other hand, there is a very continuous possibility of movement of this guide element, which is also predetermined by the spring.
  • the retaining spring also makes it possible to reach this position automatically when this coupling position is left after assembly, since the retaining spring automatically sets the coupling position again due to the pretension it then achieves when dismantling.
  • the specific connection of the retaining spring also provides a mechanically stable and component-minimised coupling mechanism.
  • the guide element has an integrated adjustment pin, by actuation of which the door can be released from a mounted state from a receptacle which is arranged on the guide track. It is precisely this adjustment pin that must be held in the assembly position, in particular by the retaining spring, in order to enable the door to be mounted on the housing. After assembly, this adjustment pin is then in a holding position that is different from its assembly position, so that the door is prevented from undesirably coming loose or falling off on its own from the housing.
  • the adjusting pin is arranged at the end of the guide element and is oriented in a freely cantilevered manner.
  • the door has a bracket for holding a door pane of the door.
  • a second end of the retaining spring is connected directly to this retaining bracket.
  • This bracket which is then present anyway, is a multifunctional component which is designed to hold the door window on the one hand and to hold the second end of the retaining spring on the other hand.
  • the first end of the retaining spring is designed as a hook and is arranged to engage in a passage in a radial web of the guide element. This enables a particularly secure and simple mechanical coupling of the retaining spring directly to the guide element.
  • the retaining spring is a spiral spring.
  • the feedthrough is designed as a keyhole-like geometry.
  • this makes threading this first end of the retaining spring into the bushing very easy and accurate.
  • this also ensures that in the final position, in which this first end is suspended in the tapered part of the keyhole geometry, there is as little play as possible and thus movement tolerance for this first end. This prevents the spring from slipping and making unwanted noise when the door is moved. In particular, this prevents the retaining spring from jumping undesirably in these movement scenarios.
  • a damping element for damping a friction noise between the retaining spring and the bushing is arranged on a boundary wall of the bushing.
  • this also enables smooth movement and, in particular, particularly advantageously achieves particularly noise-reduced mounting of the retaining spring.
  • the retaining spring is surrounded by a tube-like casing.
  • This cover is in particular a noise reduction element. Noises that occur when the retaining spring is tightened and relaxed are at least strongly dampened by this covering, so that no unwanted noises escape from the outside or are perceived as undesirably strong.
  • This tube-like casing is preferably designed to be elastically deformable and can, for example, be a tube made of an elastomer.
  • the length of this casing which is measured in the direction of its longitudinal axis, corresponds to the length that corresponds to the mouth area or corresponds to the axial extent of the spiral windings of the retaining spring when the retaining spring is in the unstressed state. This means that when the spring is tensioned and thus pulled apart, this area with the spiral turns becomes longer than the length of this sheath. On the one hand, this does not restrict the movement of the retaining spring, but on the other hand, this length of the casing is sufficient to sufficiently reduce noise.
  • the length of the casing is greater. This can be advantageous in particular if the casing is not rigid in length but is designed to be variable in length.
  • the casing can be designed as a bellows. With such a design, the change in length of the spiral spring area of the retaining spring can then also be carried out by this cover.
  • the guide element is designed as a bearing bush.
  • this then couples in particular directly with limiting elements of the guideway.
  • the bearing bush has a guide groove into which a guide wall or a guide runner of the guide track engages.
  • the design as a bushing is also designed in particular in such a way that a hollow area is formed with which this bearing bushing can then be plugged onto a coupling element such as a coupling rod, for example.
  • this receptacle is designed as a blind hole.
  • the bearing bush is therefore not a tubular component, but is closed at one end.
  • the adjustment pin is designed like a bar and is arranged with its longitudinal axis in the coupling position or assembly position at an angle between 10° and 40° to a vertical axis of the door.
  • This specific coupling position or assembly position makes it possible to attach the door to the housing easily, quickly and safely, and the assembly processes or assembly movements can be easily and intuitively understood. This means that the assembly process of the door on the housing can be carried out easily, quickly and safely.
  • the door has an upper, hood-like cover strip.
  • This cover strip is a separate part and can also be used as a top panel be referred to.
  • the cover strip is in particular formed in one piece, in particular made of plastic.
  • the door has a pane package which has at least one front pane and one inner pane.
  • the front window is the outermost pane of this pane package facing away from the cooking space.
  • a windshield is designed in such a way that, when installed, it covers the above-mentioned cover strip on the front.
  • the surface area and the positioning of this front window are therefore chosen such that this cover strip, which is located behind it when viewed in the depth direction of the cooking appliance, is covered on the front. This also provides protection for this cover strip and enables the door to have a calmer appearance on the front.
  • An embodiment can also be provided in which the cover strip is not covered by the front windshield.
  • the cover strip has a separate stiffening part for stiffening the cover strip.
  • a separate stiffening part for stiffening the cover strip.
  • this stiffening part also has the function of a locking element with which the door is locked in its closed position during the pyrolysis operation of the cooking appliance.
  • At least one stop is formed in the storage space, which limits the immersion depth of the door in this storage space in such a way that the handle is in the maximum insertion position Door is positioned at a distance from a front side of the cooking appliance.
  • this maximum insertion position between a front side of the housing and an upper edge of the door, which does not have to be the same as the upper edge of the handle, since the handle can also be arranged at a downward distance from the upper edge of the door in this respect, between 80 mm and 90 mm, in particular 85 mm.
  • the door is designed in such a way that different front panes of the above-mentioned pane package can be mounted.
  • differently colored glasses can be used, so that different variants can be created with regard to the front optical appearance.
  • This makes it possible to create a uniform visual front appearance with an optionally additional switch panel or control panel of the cooking appliance, which is preferably arranged adjacent to the door.
  • a cover strip with at least two different variants can be mounted on the door.
  • a cover strip can be provided for a cooking appliance that has a pyrolysis operation.
  • a different cover strip can also be provided, which is suitable for a cooking appliance that does not have pyrolysis operation.
  • identical components are provided in this context, which enable this connection of cover strip variants.
  • the handle of the door is preferably attached to the windshield, in particular screwed on.
  • the windshield preferably has two guides or holes through which the screws can be passed.
  • the stiffening part which can be arranged on the cover strip in order to stiffen it, is also screwed to the windshield.
  • the screw connection takes place via the screw hole to which the handle is also screwed. This means that stops are limited locally and the number of bushings or screw holes in the windshield is minimized.
  • the guide element is formed in one piece.
  • the guide element can preferably be made of plastic.
  • a cooking appliance 1 is shown, which can be, for example, an oven or a microwave cooking appliance or a steam cooking appliance or a combination of the devices mentioned.
  • the cooking appliance 1 has a housing 2 in which a cooking chamber 3 is designed for cooking food.
  • the cooking appliance 1 also has a door 4 which is designed to close the cooking chamber 3 at the front.
  • the door 4 has a door leaf 5, which is designed as a plate-like part.
  • a handle 6 is arranged on the front of the door leaf 5 and thus facing away from the cooking space 3. This handle 6 is stationary and therefore immovable on the door leaf 5, in particular screwed on.
  • Door 4 is in Fig. 1 shown in the closed state. In this embodiment, the door leaf 5 is then oriented in a vertical plane, namely the xy plane.
  • the cooking appliance 1 also has a storage space 7, which is designed separately from the cooking space 3 and is formed in the height direction (y direction) below the cooking space 3 in the housing 2.
  • the door 4 can be inserted or sunk into this storage space 7 when open. Even when the door 4 is moved, the position of the handle 6 on the door leaf 5 does not change relative to the door leaf 5.
