Description

The present invention relates to a kit for laying a covering on a support of the floor or wall type. Thus, the coating can form: a horizontal decking to form in particular a terrace in front of a house, a terrace bordering a swimming pool, or to dress a passage area, a corridor; a horizontal covering intended to be installed on a roof terrace; or a wall covering for exterior or interior walls of a building. The coating can be permanently installed or even constitute an ephemeral coating.

Terraces, especially wooden terraces for gardens, are increasingly used in gardens, especially around swimming pools. With the growing demand for these terraces, it would be interesting to be able to pre-assemble the terraces in the factory before mounting them at the user to save time during the installation of the terrace.

The terraces are set up outdoors, so they are vulnerable to bad weather. In addition, as they can be mounted on the edge of the pool, mounting the terrace should not reveal any fasteners that could injure users while also maintaining a smooth appearance for the terrace. The document CN 107 675 845 A describes this type of coating installation kit comprising butted panels and junction bars covering these abutments.

US patent US 3964221 describes support surfaces, including pontoons, which are formed by a plurality of panels interconnected by connecting posts. US patent US 10011998 describes a modular patio set. This modular assembly includes a floor mat to which cross members are permanently attached, a plurality of spacers and a plurality of panels.

The panels have at one end a first step-shaped section and at the opposite end a second step-shaped section in an inverted configuration with respect to the first section. The step-shaped sections have openings at the longitudinal edges of the panels.

To form the surface, the step-shaped section of a first panel cooperates with the step-shaped section of inverted configuration of a neighboring panel, the orifices of each of the step-shaped sections being placed opposite.

Fixing uprights are then slid into the orifices in order to make the two neighboring panels integral. These amounts are subject to bad weather. In addition, they can protrude from panels and potentially injure users.

The applicant company therefore sought a kit for installing a covering on a floor or wall-type support making it possible to have a rapid fixing of this covering while obtaining a smooth final covering which makes it possible to protect the fixing elements from bad weather and conceal them and without having any elements that protrude from the coating and that could injure users.

To this end, the invention relates to a kit for installing a covering on a support of the floor or wall type, characterized in that it comprises:
  • a set of rectangular flat panels, each rectangular flat panel comprising, along each of two of its opposite edges, an elongated piece fixed under the panel seen in its mounting position and protruding from the edge concerned over at least part of its length , the upper surface in the mounting position of the protruding part or parts lying below the upper surface of the associated panel and the lower surface in the mounting position of the protruding part or parts being able to come to rest on the support; and
  • a set of junction bars of adjacent panels in the assembly position, each bar having a lower face capable of resting on the projecting parts placed opposite the panels to be joined and an upper face capable of coming in the same plane with the top surface of the panels.

The support can for example be a concrete screed or slab, a set of joists, in the case of a horizontal support, a set of studs placed or fixed on the support, in particular a floor, or a wall in the case of a horizontal support. a vertical support, or an inclined support.

The panels of a set of panels may have the same or different lengths and / or widths, the connecting bars being of suitable dimensions to allow their positioning on the elongated pieces of the panels.

In particular, the panels will be of identical dimensions. In particular, the junction bars will join two adjacent panels.

Furthermore, the dimensions of the panels will be chosen so that a coating is obtained with a flat surface without any gap between the panels and the junction bars, and between the panels themselves, except for the thin expansion space required between these elements.

The elongated pieces may extend all the way along the edge of the associated panels.

The elongated parts of a panel may project by the same length on either side of the panel and may in particular be rectangular counter-blades.

The elongated pieces may have holes for fixing to the panels by screws intended to be introduced from below the elongated pieces.

In one embodiment, the connecting bars can be of the same length as the elongated pieces.

In the assembly position, these bars can occupy the space between two adjacent panels.

The junction bars can have holes for their fixing by screws on the elongated parts of two associated adjacent panels, the screw heads being able to be hidden by taps whose faces tops come flush with the top surface of the associated junction bar in the mounting position.

The protruding parts of the elongated parts may have holes for fixing to the support by screws intended to be introduced from above the elongated parts.

The panels may include, at their lower part, at least one added reinforcement part, in particular a central reinforcement part, of thickness at most equal, in particular equal, to that of the part of the elongated part located under the panel, the reinforcing piece or pieces being fixed to the panel, for example by screwing, a reinforcing piece being in particular constituted by a blade extending over the entire length of the panel, parallel to the elongated edge pieces.

A panel may be formed by adjacent transverse lamellae, the elongate edge pieces being arranged perpendicular to the mean longitudinal lines of the lamellae.

The number of slats can be different from one panel to another.

For example, if the slats are made of wood, then the spacing between the slats can be a few millimeters, for example 4 mm.

The panels and the junction bars can be made of wood, a metal such as aluminum or a composite material, the materials in which the panels are made, any slats and the junction bars, in the same kit can be identical or different.

It is thus possible to form a succession of panel / junction bar / panel / junction bar / etc. Several of these successions can be joined along the edges of the panels not carrying the elongated pieces.

To better illustrate the object of the present invention, a particular embodiment will be described below, by way of illustration and without limitation, with reference to the appended drawing.

A panel 1 is formed by a set of identical slats 3, in the shape of an elongated rectangle, the slats 3 being arranged adjacent along their longitudinal edges, with a space between them of the order of 4 mm to take account of the expansion. wood. The slats of the panels can also be of different width.

Along each of two opposite longitudinal edges of the panel 1 thus constituted, is disposed an elongated piece consisting of a counter-blade 4 fixed under the panel 1 and projecting therefrom, over an equal distance in the example shown.

A counter-blade 4 is here fixed to the panel 1, in practice to the various slats 3 composing it, by screwing from below through holes 5, here at the rate of two holes 5 per slat 3 (see Figures 2 and 5 ). Screwing from below makes the screws invisible to the end user once the decking is installed.

The part of the counter-blade 4 which projects out of the panel 1 has holes 6 (four in the example shown), the role of which is indicated below. These holes 6 are regularly distributed, two of which are each located in the vicinity of a transverse edge of the counter-blade 4.

Under the panel 1 is arranged a reinforcing strip 7, the mean longitudinal line of which is parallel to the mean longitudinal lines of the counter-blades 4.

L'épaisseur de la lame de renfort 7 est égale à celle des contre-lames 4.The thickness of the reinforcing blade 7 is equal to that of the counter-blades 4.

As can be seen on the Figure 2 , the reinforcing strip 7 is fixed by screwing from below to the various strips 3 making up the panel 1, the fixing holes being designated by 8 on the Figures 2 and 6 and being two in number per slat 3.

A junction bar 2 is, as can be seen on the Figure 7 , consisting of a blade in the shape of an elongated rectangle. It comprises, for fixing by screwing to the two counter-blades 4, holes 9, at the rate of six holes in the example shown, namely four corner holes and two central holes each located in the vicinity of a longitudinal edge. of the junction bar 2.

In order to maintain a smooth appearance for the decking once mounted, in each of the holes 9 of the junction bars 2, taps or plugs 10 are placed (see Figure 8 ). By doing so, the holes 9 will be hidden, the fixing screws will not appear, which helps to ensure a smooth appearance of the decking.

On the Figure 2 (mounted position), we have shown holes 5 and 8 without their screws and on the Figure 9 (mounted position), holes 6 and 9 have been shown without their screws.

For the assembly of the decking, two panels 1 are placed in the assembled state, side by side, with their counter-blades 4 parallel to each other, one close to the other and leaving a space between the two longitudinal edges facing the panels 1, space which corresponds to the width of a junction bar 2 plus an expansion space. A wedge can be provided to ensure that this distance is respected.

The panels 1 are screwed onto the joists L through the holes 6 of the counter-slats 4, in the example shown.

The other panels 1 are successively placed in the same way, placing each new panel at the desired distance from the previous panel and they are screwed onto the joists L.

The junction bars 2 are then placed in their reception spaces provided previously and they are screwed onto the counter-blades 4 through the holes 9.
