- A tanned smoked salmon skin obtainable by a tanning process as claimed in one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that it has a chromium concentration of less than or equal to 10 000 ppm.
- The tanned smoked salmon skin as claimed in claim 13, characterized in that it has a thickness comprised between 0.4 and 5 mm.
- An article comprising a tanned smoked salmon skin as claimed in one of claims 13 or 14.
