Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de kiosques informatiques constitué d'une installation comprenant une pluralité de kiosques informatiques (1) installés de manière décentralisée dans un territoire sous la forme d'étagères comportant respectivement une pluralité de casiers munis de portes verrouillables. Chaque casier individuel dispose d'un raccordement électrique au réseau ainsi que d'une interface sans fil ou filaire avec l'Internet. Les portes d'étagère verrouillables sont chacune pourvues d'une serrure avec un code d'accès ou une clé pour des utilisateurs choisis. Des appareils physiques du domaine de l'informatique, préparés avec une installation de base, peuvent être rangés dans les casiers. L'installation comporte en outre un centre de service (9) opérant à distance du kiosque informatique (1), comprenant une pluralité de spécialistes informatiques avec leurs postes de travail sur ordinateur, un accès à chaque appareil physique informatique individuel dans les différents casiers verrouillables des différents kiosques informatiques (1) étant assuré par le biais de l'Internet depuis le centre de service (9). Au besoin, un appareil physique sélectionné individuellement dans une telle étagère peut être préparé avec un système d'exploitation quelconque et tout logiciel d'un autre appareil après avoir communiqué son adresse au centre de service (9). Pour ce faire, ledit nouvel appareil préparé avec une installation de base est mis à disposition par l'attribution de paquets de logiciels. Il est ensuite prêt à l'emploi et peut être remplacé par l'appareil endommagé puis retiré du kiosque informatique (1), après quoi l'utilisateur peut continuer de l'utiliser sans interruption.
